Whoa, I never knew stuff like this existed! I know Nightmare told me about the U.N.S.C, but a galactic wide Republic with so many different species and cultures to learn about, I feel like I could live here. But that's sadly not the case, with every government there is always corruption. This Sith Lord, he's the leader of the Republic. We have a chance to fix it and prevent... what is it called? Order 66 right? I don't know that much about this so.... yeah.

I had my face pressed against the window looking at everything in sight. My gaze was cut off by Nightmare. Dang it, just a few more seconds.

Nightmare: "Hey, come on, Master Plo wants us for a meeting."

Ruby: "Awww... this place is amazing though, just a few more minutes. I mean the view is amaz-"

And before I knew it he hugged me and that got me to shut my mouth. Despite our height difference, I was at the perfect height to where I could hear his heartbeat, so steady- OHHH GOD WHAT AM I DOING?!

Nightmare: "Look, I'm sure it'll be better when we get to the surface."

Ruby: "Oh, alright. It'll be worth it right?"

Nightmare: "That's the spirit. Now come on, let's go see what we need to do."

Ruby: "Right behind ya."

We went over to the hologram table with everyone there. The door that went into the bridge closed behind me.

Plo: "As a security procotion we must keep this between us. Not even our men can know of what we plan to do."

Regret: "And what would that be?"

Anakin: "Glad you asked, as you know Supreme Chancellor Palpatine is the Sith Lord we've been looking for this whole time, and about clone protocol 66."

Ruby: "I'm still a little confused on that, what is order 66?"

Only 2 clones were here with us, Rex and Wolffe.

Rex: "When the Vytal Festival Tournament was going on, General Ironwood helped give me a surgery that would reduce my age acceleration. He found this in my head. It's a control chip and when activated, it would force me to kill my Jedi General."

He held out a glass rectangle with the control chip in it. It looked weird, it's like a tumor.

Snow: "Jesus, that's terrible. Who would do something like this?"

Obi-Wan: "The Sith have been the life long enemies of the Jedi. They will not stop at nothing to destroy us."

Anakin: "And the only person who would've authorized these control chips would be Chancellor Palpatine."

Ren: "But what will happen to your political structure? Wouldn't the Republic need a new Chancellor?"

Obi-Wan: "Yes, we will elect a new Chancellor, but we need to make sure none are force sensitive, anyone who is can be a suspect of being apart of the Sith."

Anakin: "What about Padme?"

Plo: "Unlikey the senate will trust her. Both her and Palpatine are from Naboo."

All this political talk is starting to give me a headache. I was never really one for politics, ever. Nightmare feels the same way, we dislike politics with a firery passion. It's to be expected too, we're all kids, it's not like we can do anything about it at this point in our lives. But this time we can do some good by getting rid of this corruption.

Anakin: "If we're going to take him down, we'll need a plan to make sure that he doesn't contact our armies and enact order 66."

Obi-Wan: "And knowing you, you already have a plan?"

Anakin: "Yep. Team JNPR will go into this hangar of the senate building disguised as senate commandos and set off an EMP causing the building to go into lockdown."

Nora: "Why that specific hangar?"

Anakin: "Because it's closest to the building's generator. There'll be no power for a while."

Nightmare: "What about the city's electrical grid? Why not just take those out?"

Plo: "The Separatists have already done that to send a message. They'll would have doubled security."

Nightmare: "Well, my semblance lets me turn invisible, and if the EMP is too big to sneak past security, then we'll move to our next best option."

Anakin: "Being?"

I knew where he was going with this. The one thing better than an EMP.

Nightmare: "Nora."

Nora: "Wait what?"

Anakin: "Come again?"

Nightmare: "Her semblance allows her to absorb electricity and that fuels her physical strength. She's basically a walking EMP. She'll be able to absorb all the energy and knock out the power for longer than the EMP would. From what I've seen from the tournament, she really doesn't have any limits."

Nora: "He's right, I really don't have any limits at all whatsoever."

Anakin: "Okay, we'll go with your plan. Nightmare and Nora will go to the central power station and knock out the power for a little. That will cause the senate building to go into lockdown and lock out the communications. The rest of us we'll wait in this main hallway for him to come out. I'll get Palpatine out of his office. He trusts me so it won't be a problem."

Plo: "We should at least try and contact the Jedi Council for help incase this goes wrong."

Obi-Wan: "I've already tried, they're spread out across the galaxy fighting the war."

Blake: "So we're on our own then."

Anakin: "It appears that way. Let's get ready to go. Let's all meet in the hangar in ten minutes."

Everyone went their separate ways, getting ammo, sharpening their blades. I was really having doubts about all this. All this trouble to take out an old man. But if he's that powerful in the Force, I'm scared to see what will happen. I'm scared of losing everybody to this mission. I could hear Nightmare walking up behind me. I bet he could guess how I'm feeling about all of this.

Nightmare: "Hey, what's bugging you?"

Tears started to fill my eyes at the thought of losing the person I love. I turned around and hugged him as tight as I could.

Ruby: "I'm scared... Nightmare I'm scared of losing you. I'm scared of losing everyone I ever cared about all because of this one mission to take out a Sith Lord."

My voice became increasingly shaky the more I cried.

Nightmare: "You're not going to lose me. I swear you won't lose me. You know, in a lot of ways you remind me of Carol."

Ruby: "Wait, why's that?"

Nightmare: "There were nights where she would stay up crying her eyes out. She was scared of losing the only family she ever had. We hardly remembered our parents after we were taken. I was never a heavy sleeper and I could hear her crying. David would get up to comfort her and try and lull her to sleep, he kept reassuring her that everything would be okay and that we would win the war against the Covenant. Beneath the tough girl persona she put on everyday, she was feeling pain. This pain deep down inside her was locked up and hidden from us. At first I didn't know what she was going though until the first night I heard her. She and David knew each other a lot longer than me. Well, it was a lot like Ren and Nora's relationship. Carol and David knew each other inside and out, they were inseparable. Ruby, I'm scared too. I can't lose another person in my family. First my parents, David and Carol, and now the risk of losing Snow and Luna, I can't lose you too."

Ruby: "Nightmare..."

I don't know why, but I couldn't help but kiss him. I was lost in my own mind, and I felt like I could stay like this forever. I pulled away from his lips and looked into his sky blue eyes.

Ruby: "You won't lose me. I won't lose you either. That's a promise."

Obi-Wan: "You're scared."

Dang it, I got so lost in the moment I didn't hear Obi-Wan come in. So much for that moment.

Ruby: "Obi-Wan! How long were you standing there?"

Obi-Wan: "Long enough. That's not the point, I came to tell you I know what it's like to lose someone you love."

Nightmare: "You do?"

Obi-Wan: "I do. Before our crash on Remnant, Anakin, Ahsoka, Rex and I were sent to Mandalore to deal with a civil war. The rebel faction pleaded for Republic support and we were meant to rendezvous with Jedi Master Mace Windu. There's more to it than that. Ten years ago my master and I were sent to protect Duchess Satine Kryze. I fell in love with her, but my duty as a Jedi prevented me from doing anything about it. Up till now, Darth Maul took over Mandalore and used her as a bargaining chip to draw me out."

Ruby: "What happened?"

Obi-Wan: "Maul wanted revenge, and used my love for Satine to draw me out so he could settle his score with me because I nearly killed him once. He killed her right in front of me, so yes, I do know what it's like to lose someone you care about."

Nightmare: "I'm... so sorry for your loss."

Obi-Wan: "It's okay. If we pull this off, we can still go to Mandalore to take it back from Maul, to honor her memory. We should go, get what you need."

Ruby: "Okay. Thanks, for opening our eyes."

Obi-Wan: "You don't need to thank me."

Well, this was it, a chance to end this.
