52. Whoops
Scorpio's POV
*Flashback*
Here I am, as a 14 year old with my family. I'll admit. It's a kind of... weird family. My mom died when I was about three. I couldn't really remember any of it. I don't even know anything about my dad. I was sent to foster care for a while at three. I fucking hated it there. Then I met friends. They're three years older than me, but they're still cool.
We even escaped our foster parents. What was the point of staying somewhere we weren't permanantly wanted? As if that was gonna happen.
But right now, it was late at night. Maybe about 2AM in the morning. Tonight was just the same old same old. I hop out of the car with Vincent, Sean, and Stacey. As soon as we were all out, Vincent started speaking immediately.
"Okay, idiots, listen up, and listen up good because I'm only gonna say this once," Vincent says, holding a finger up. "Scorp and I will go inside. Stacey, you're driving. And Sean, just make sure nobody sees us," he instructed.
Stacey rolled her blue eyes. "Yeah, yeah, Vincent, we get it," she mumbles.
"Good," Vincent said, throwing me my black ski mask and gloves. I quickly put it on as did everyone else.
"You guys have five minutes," Sean says, throwing Vincent and I our bags.
I just nodded. Vincent slapped my back as we both went inside the expensive jewel shop. Stacey was the one who usually hacks into the codes and set them off, so we could steal. It was usually five minutes. Usually when doing this, I was the look out while Sean was helping Vincent. I convinced Vincent I was sneaky enough to do it with him, so he allowed me to.
I was behind Vincent and silently closed the door shut behind me. Inside was really dark, so we had our flashlights on. Vincent aimed his light to all the cameras.
"Okay, we're clear," he says, patting my shoulder. "I'll check that side," he says, pointing to the other side, "and you check here."
I just nodded as he ran to the other side of the shop. Everywhere there were diamond necklaces, rings, gold watches, you name it. They weren't just for display which is why they were in a glass container.
I took a deep breath as I lifted the glass over a diamond necklace. It was beautiful. We could be rich with this one. I quickly took that and threw it into my bag.
I ran over to where the watches were. I always liked watches. I never knew why, but I just did. I grabbed most of the gold watches with diamonds on the rim circle of the clock. I dropped them down into my bag.
"Scorp!" Vincent called out to me. "Three more minutes!"
I nodded gesturing that I understood. I ran somewhere else to find more valuable things. I saw rings this time. They were shiny. I put my flashlight over them to see all of them glow. That made me smirk. I grab about 12 of them and put them in my bag.
I checked to see how many more minutes we had left. We had 2 now. I told Vincent, and he nodded as he ran to my side.
I was walking to the middle of the shop now where a beautiful diamond necklace was centered. Vincent came up to me now, putting a hand on my shoulder. It almost scared me.
"Ooh, that's gorgeous, ain't it?" he asks me.
I nodded my head as I was about to take the glass container off. Vincent grabbed my wrist before I could even touch it. I turn to him.
He pointed to the glass with the other hand. "This one isn't hacked," he told me.
I turned to see how he knew that. There was just a tiny red beaming light right under it. I probably wouldn't have noticed it if he didn't catch me.
I yank my arm back from him as we both stared at it. "We need to get it," I say, tempting to just steal and run. I knew I couldn't though. That wouldn't be the smartest choice.
Vincent nodded. "Yeah, but not now," he says, looking at his watch now. "We have 20 seconds, let's go!" He pats my shoulder as he pushed me in front of him to escape.
I run without hesitation as he ran right behind me. I instantly got in the back of the truck as Sean did too. Vincent slowly closed the door back and hopped in the back also. "Step on it," Vincent says before he could close the truck door.
Stacey immediately floored the pedal, and we took off. In the back seat, it was Sean, Vincent, and me. We could still see Stacey though. Neither of us wore a seat belt except for her.
Vincent took off his mask so we could see his dark brown hair and hazel eyes.
"So," Sean says, taking his mask off revealing his black hair and brown eyes, "what did we get?"
Vincent scoffed as he looked in his bag. "You mean what did Scorp and I get," he corrected.
"But I thought-"
"Scorp and I got it ourselves. Therefore whatever is in our bags is ours," Vincent explains.
Sean slouched down in his seat. Usually, when it was just Vincent and Sean stealing, it was the four of us as a team. Now that it was me and Vincent, he didn't mind leaving the two of them out of it.
I take my mask off to reveal my dark brown hair and bluish grey eyes. I pour my stuff down on the seat. Every jewel shined like they were brand new. They weren't exactly new, but they have been preserved for a while.
"Damn, Scorp, you got it good," Vincent says to me and nudging my arm. I put on a few of the rings on my fingers.
"Let me see what you got, Scorp," Stacey says to me through the rear view mirror. She was still wearing her mask so I could only see her ocean blue eyes through the mirror.
I stuck my middle finger out at her where one of the rings were. She rolled her eyes and chuckled as Vincent smacked my arm and laughed too.
"What'd you get, Vincent," I ask.
He dumps his on the seat away from my stuff. He had less stuff than I had, but they were still pretty valuable.
"Damn," I say, looking at what he had. "Who would've thought I had more than you," I joked.
He pushed me and laughed. "You asshole," he says. I laugh too.
"So how was it, Scorp? Was it fun? Or did you get scared?" Sean asks, making a baby voice with the last sentence.
I roll my eyes at him. "I'd probably get more stuff than you too," I bragged.
"Bullshit," Sean says.
I was putting my stuff back in my bag with the rings not leaving my finger. "Oh yeah?"
Vincent chuckled. "Scorp really does have his eyes on the prize. It's a shame we never been there before. But Scorp found a diamond necklace that looks like it could be worth like... billions!"
"Maybe even zillions!" I chimed in.
"Zillion isn't a number, little one," Stacey says, chuckling while driving.
I roll my eyes. "Stop calling me 'Little One,'" I groaned.
Ever since I've met them, they've been calling me Little One because I was younger than them all. They were only three years older than me. It means nothing. I'm just as old as the rest of them, and they always tried babying me around.
"Whatever you say, Little One," Sean teased. I growl at him.
"But about the necklace," Vincent was saying, "there was still an alarm left unhacked. We couldn't get it, but we're definitely trying again next week," he says, putting his stuff back in his bag now.
Stacey hummed. "Okay, but I hacked everything. Are you sure it was hacked?"
I shrug my shoulders. "There was a tiny red light under it. I wouldn't have noticed it if Vincent hadn't stopped me," I say.
Sean smirked. "Then I guess we're going there next week."
Vincent nodded as he was looking at one of his new watches. "I guess we are," he says, dropping it back in his bag.
Stacey pulled up to park now. We finally reached where we needed to be. Home. It's not a nice home, but it's our home. It was just an abandoned house we decided to take in.
Vincent left the truck first followed by me then Sean. Stacey got out and locked the truck. Vincent got inside the house first. We had no electricity, so the only thing we used for lights were flashlights, the sunlight, or if we're lucky, the stars would form into a group. It was pretty. It was like the stars were all one big family.
This was one of those days that we were lucky. When we got inside, the moonlight was bright enough to help us see without a flashlight. We all walked into the kitchen. I set my bag down on the table. Vincent did the same.
"So, little brother," Vincent says to me, putting an arm around my shoulders, "are you doing it again with me next week?"
I nodded. "It's not like Sean is better than I am," I tease, sticking a tounge out at him.
Sean rolled his eyes. "I'll have you know I'm probably far better than you are."
"Bullshit," I say with a smirk.
"Whatever," he says, walking up to a cabinet, "Little One," he says with a smirk.
My smirk disappeared. "I'm not little!"
"Sure you aren't, Little One," Stacey chimes in, taking her mask off and throwing it on the table. Her light brown hair fell to her shoulders.
"Fuck you guys. I'm only 14!"
"And we're 17. Your point?" Sean says, taking out a box of graham crackers.
I snatch them from him. "My point is: I am not little!" I hissed, taking a graham cracker from the box.
Stacey ruffled my hair. "You're right, Little One- I mean, Scorpio," she purposely said.
I smack her hands away from me.
"Hey, hey," Vincent says, using both of his hands to stop everybody, "Let's not tease my little brother by calling him Little One," he says, wrapping an arm around Stacey.
"Thank you!" I say, throwing my hands up in the air and then eating a graham cracker.
"No problem, Little One," he says with a smile.
I stop chewing and stuck the middle finger out at my older brother. He's so annoying sometimes. They all are. I'm just as old as them. Three years is nothing!
Vincent reaches over to his bag and pulled out a watch from it. It was the same watch he was admiring in the truck. He grabbed Stacey's hand and put the watch on her wrist as he kissed her cheek. Stacey smiled as they both gazed into each others eyes.
Sean sat on the counter. "Where's my share?" he asks.
Vincent shrugged. "Don't know. Where is it?" he said in a sassy tone then smiling back at Stacey.
Sean turned to me. "You up for sharing, Scorp?" he asks me.
I take another graham cracker and shook my head. "Nope," I say, taking a loud crunch. This is what he gets for calling me Little One.
He groaned, but I didn't care. I don't think neither of us cared.
Next thing I knew, Vincent and Stacey were making out in front of me. Again. I quickly cover my eyes.
"Do you two ever stop?" I ask annoyed.
They just ignored me and kept on making out which was disgusting. Sean rolled his eyes just watching them. Vincent's tounge was seriously in Stacey's mouth. Isn't that disgusting? Or uncomfortable? And slimy?
I hated when they did that in front of me. It was just weird watching your older brother and his girlfriend make out like that. One day when we get rich, I'm having my own house. Maybe even a mansion.
Vincent and Stacey finally stop making out after some time. His hand was on her ass now as she was talking to me. "You're too little to get used to this, aren't you?" Stacey asks.
I roll my eyes. "I don't think anyone in their right mind should be used to seeing shit like that," I rudely said, trying not to glance at where my brother's hand was going.
Sean chuckled. "Agreed," he says, looking at Stacey.
Vincent rolled his eyes. "Whatever," he says snatching the box of crackers from my hands. "We're cashing some of these in tomorrow," he told us, pointing the a bag of jewels.
"Then we can finally buy a mansion!" I say, excitedly.
Stacey just couldn't help but laugh. "You're adorable, Scorp, but no."
I stared daggers at her. I hated when she called me adorable. It's what you say when you're talking to a puppy, a kitten, or child, and I'm not a child anymore.
"We need groceries, Scorp. Don't get too excited," Vincent reminded me, ruffling my hair getting crumbs in it. I swat his hands away.
I sit down on the table with my legs crossed like a pretzel. I hold onto my ankles. "We don't even have a working fridge, idiot," I reminded him.
Sean nodded. "Then we'll get that too," he says.
I sighed as I rolled my eyes. Then I looked outside the window to see the stars make up into one big family again. I loved that.
Vincent sat down beside me, blocking my view. "We'll have everything," he says.
I suddenly stopped being interested in the previous subject. "Can you move?" I ask him.
Vincent gave me a hurt look and turned behind him to the window where the stars and moon were shininh bright. He turned back to me now. "Y'know why mom called you Scorpio, right?" he asks.
I rolled my eyes. "Because she's a weirdo," I answer.
Vincent laughed. "No, she told me why. You heard of the constellation Scorpius?" he asks me.
I shake my head no. The fuck is a Scorpius?
"Well," he says, putting an arm around my shoulders, "it reminds you of the word scorpion, right? Y'know how scorpions are, like, small, but brave and mean, right?"
I nodded my head. I don't know where he's getting to, but okay, Vincent.
He pointed his finger at my chest. "When you were a baby, you hurt her like hell. You were even almost a miscarriage, but look at you. You're still alive. Mom said it was fated to be that way. You were small, brave, and a little bastard for hurting her like that," he says.
I blink at him. By the time I was born, Vincent was three which made him only six by the time mom died. "How'd you even know?" I ask him, skeptically.
He spread his legs out on the table and smirked. "Gramma, of course," he says.
I nodded my head now. "So what you're telling me is that mom had a scorpion kink?"
Everybody laughed except for me. I was serious. I didn't understand what the fuck he just said to me.
"You'll get it one day, Scorp. She knew you were strong enough through anything. Hell, I like watching the stars myself," he says, turning the to window to see the stars. I had a better view now.
"Yeah? With Stacey, right? Probably whenever you guys are fucking. Another reason we need a mansion!" I say, throwing my hands up in the air and cringing at the thought.
Stacey and Vincent looked at each other and laughed. "Maybe one day, Little One," she says to me.
I couldn't help but to roll my eyes at her. I like Stacey. In fact I love her. She's one of my greatest friends, and I'm glad she's dating my brother. I love Sean too. I love Vincent. This was my family now. And I loved my family.
*End of Flashback*
When I woke up, I swear I felt like I just couldn't breathe. I don't remember dreaming about anything, but the feeling I had felt like I did. I woke up sweaty and hot. I didn't know if I felt okay or if I didn't.
I get out of bed, and I'm just a few minutes awake before my alarm can go off. I leave my room to see Sagittarius and Gemini up, talking in the hallway.
Sagittarius saw me and said something to Gemini which caused her to go downstairs now. Gemini looked at me now.
"Morning," I say, trying to act like that wasn't weird.
She hesitantly waved at me. I go downstairs to find something to eat for training. Just a quick snack or something. Sagittarius and Virgo were downstairs talking now. I pass them to go to the frigerator and felt their eyes glued on my back.
I turn around to see them staring at me. "Anything you ladies want?" I ask, turning back to the fridge.
I get an apple from the fridge as I closed it behind me. They were both just watching me. I squint my eyes at both of them. What the hell did they want?
"Why are you so... sweaty," Virgo managed to ask, looking at my sweat stained shirt.
I shrugged my shoulders as I took a bite from my apple. "I guess I just got hot last night," I say.
Sagittarius just continued to stare at my body now. Then she shook her head. "I'm taking a shower," she says, attemtping to walk back up the stairs again.
"We're seriously about to sweat from training, Sagittarius," I say as she was already going up the stairs.
"Don't care," she says, running up now.
Virgo and I watched her go, and then I shrugged. I leaned myself on the fridge door now, eating my apple.
"Ew! You're sweaty! Get off that!" Virgo told me.
Man, she really is bossy. I get up and lean myself to the counter now. "What's up with her?" I ask, gesturing my apple to upstairs where Sagittarius left.
Virgo looked up. "Who, Sag?" she asks.
I nodded my head, almost wanting to roll my eyes at the fact she had to ask who I was referring to.
"What do you mean? She's just normal-"
I closed my eyes as I was shaking my head and chewing. "No," I say, swallowing. "She's not tempting to annoy me today."
"Maybe she's just mad at you because of yesterday, I don't know," she says.
I shake my head again. "Sagittarius doesn't get silent-treatment-mad," I respond.
Virgo just shrugged. "I don't know. Whatever it is, be lucky. I wish Leo would stop annoying me for one day," she huffs, leaning on the other counter.
I chuckled. "No, you don't."
"What?" she quickly says.
As if on cue, Mister KingOfTheJungle came downstairs. He smiled seeing Virgo who only rolled her eyes at his presense.
"Virgo!!!" he says with open arms.
Virgo groaned and went upstairs. "I'm taking a shower," she says, dodging Leo's hug.
Leo dropped his arms and watched her leave. Then he turned to me, and acted like I didn't exist.
"Why do you always annoy her?" I ask him.
He side eyed me. I'm probably the last person he'd want to talk to right now. I knew we weren't friends anymore, and he got angry at that. I've almost never seen Leo so angry which was why I kind of regretted it. He actually saw our friendship as something.
"Because she doesn't like me," he admits.
"So you like her?" I ask.
He shook his head. "Hell no. I just want everybody to like me," he says.
And I actually believe it. I can't think of a time when Leo genuinely liked anybody. I don't even think he likes Lyra in a girlfriend way.
"Why are you so insecure about what people think of you? They either like you or they don't," I say.
He side eyed me again. "I'm not insecure. I just feel better when everyone likes me," he says.
"That's seriously what being insecure means. Seems like you and Virgo have a lot in common," I chuckled.
He rolled his eyes as he walked my way, but only to open the fridge. He was ignoring me now.
"We're not friends anymore," I say.
"Yeah, I was aware of that," he grumbled.
I clicked my tounge and nodded. "Then why aren't you trying so hard to get me to like you?"
He closed the fridge as he got a carton of orange juice. I thought I finally had him right there.
"Because I gave up on your ass the first time," he says, looking me dead in my eyes.
Ouch. I'll admit, that stung. I didn't realize he was that upset. Then again, I did something he asked me not to do. Even if I couldn't get along with Aries and Sagittarius, I should've remained civil with them. At least around him.
Virgo came running back downstairs. "Oh, shoot!" she says, plopping down the last step. She ran to the counter she was at before. "Almost forgot my phone for music," she says.
Leo's attention was focused on Virgo now. "Oh no," he sarcastically says with a smirk. Then he drunk from the orange juice carton right in front of us.
"Ew! Get a glass! You have eleven other people living here, Leo!" she says, rolling her eyes.
Leo let out a breath. "That was good~," he burped.
Virgo flinched and ran back upstairs with her phone. Leo just chuckled as he put the orange juice back in the fridge.
Reminder: Don't drink the things in the frigerater.
I finished my apple and threw it in the trash like a basketball player and scored. Leo was already running upstairs now, continuing to act like I didn't exist as I followed behind him.
When I got upstairs, Gemini was banging on one of the bathroom doors.
"Cap! Get out! Aren't you clean yet?" she yelled.
"Be patient!" he yelled back.
Gemini groaned.
Aries chuckled. "He's probably in there with Libra, if y'know what I mean," he jokes, nudging Gemini's arm.
Gem flinched. "Ew!" she says at the thought.
Libra leaves from the other bathroom. "Hey, guys. One of you can use this one," she says.
"Look who was wrong," Gemini says, smirking at Aries.
Aries smirked back, looking down at Gemini and sneakily went in the bathroom and locked the door.
Gemini's mouth dropped. "Wait!" she says, banging on Aries' bathroom door now. "I waited longer!"
This is what I have to live with everyday. I noticed everybody was awake except for Taurus, Cancer, Pisces, and Aquarius.
I went over to Cancer's room and knocked on her door. She didn't answer, so I just opened the door. When I opened it, she was topless with a sports bra and leggings that fit her skin just right. She quickly covered her upper body. "Scorpio! Get out!" she yells.
I quickly close the door shut. That's fucking awkward. I wish that didn't happened.
Before I could even walk anywhere else, Cancer opened the door again. She had on a sweatshirt now due to the fact it's cold outside.
"Sorry," I quickly said, "I thought you were still sleeping, so I was just trying to... um..."
"Wake me up, yeah, I know. Thanks though," she says, forcing out a laugh and tying her blonde hair back.
I gestured my thumb to behind me where all the bathrooms were. "Are you not taking a shower?" I ask.
She shook her head. "We're all gonna be sweaty anyway, right?" she says.
I smirked. "That's exactly what I said."
She looked at me now as she was squinting her ocean blue eyes. "Um, why are you so sweaty?" she asks.
I shrugged. "It was hot last night. Don't even ask," I say.
She chuckled.
To my left, Pisces' door opened. He had his hair tied back since it was long and curly. It actually looked cool the way he wore it. He had on a regular blue T-shirt and gym shorts. I guess he could tolerate cold.
"Morning, Pi," Cancer says with a smile.
He smiled back and waved, making his way downstairs. Cancer watched him leave.
"I'm getting something to eat. You want anythimg? A fruit? Glass of orange juice-"
"I'm fine," I say. "And by the way, Leo drank from the orange juice carton. I'd recommend you drink water," I say.
She nodded her head and laughed as she went downstairs too. I smiled.
Taurus came out of his room now. His hair was a big mess. The first thing he did was come up to me.
"Hey, is Aqua awake?" he asks.
I shake my head. "I didn't see her today," I say.
He nodded and immediately went over to knock on her door. She didn't answer, so he just went inside and closed the door behind him. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I do hope Aquarius is alright.
Cap finally got out the shower. He still wasn't dressed, so he had a towel wrapped around his wet body. His hair was dripping wet, curly, and black too.
"There. Now stop annoying me," he growled at Gem as he walked to his room.
Gemini was relieved, but that was until Leo stood in front of her. "Hey, Gem Gem," he says with a smile.
Gemini flinched at the nickname. "Gem Gem? What the hell-"
"Did anyone tell you how hot you are?" he asks.
Gemini rolled her eyes. "You really do flirt with anyone with boobs and legs," she says, clicking her tounge.
"In fact," Leo says, "I think you're so hot that you don't need to take a shower right now. I'm hot too, but I desperately think so highly of you. I love your scent!" he says.
He's so weird.
Gemini squinted her eyes at him. "Leo, what the hell?"
"Thanks, Gem Gem," he says, kissing her on her cheek and closing the door to the bathroom.
Gemini's eyes grew wider. "You've got to be kidding me!" she yells in anger and throwing her hands up in a strangling motion.
I laughed. I didn't realize I was now in front of Cap's bedroom door. I must've walked there on accident when I saw Cancer in her room.
"You mind moving?" he asks me rudely.
That kind of attitude made me consider on yanking his towel off in front of everybody and hanging him with it. But instead, I stepped to the side as he walked in.
"Fucking asshole," I grumbled.
Sagittarius and Virgo were now dressed in their work out clothes, talking to each other now as they came from the other hall where the other two bathrooms were.
Sagittarius glared at me once and never again. Usually, she would say something to me. She wouldn't annoy me as much as Leo annoyed Virgo, but she made some interaction with me that annoyed the hell out of me. She was aware that it annoyed me too. Now that she's not doing that, it annoyed me more when she usually would.
I walk over to the both of them. "Hey, Virgo. Hey, Sag," I say, calling her by her nickname.
She flinched at the nickname that she always wanted me to call her.
"Hey, Scorpio," Virgo says. "Are you gonna take a shower? There's two of them free right now," she says, gesturing a thumb to behind her.
Taurus and Aquarius were out of the room now, and Aquarius looks better than ever now. She was her regular self. Sarcastic yet happy. They were talking and walking passed us now.
Gemini ran over to us. "Wait!" she says almost yelling my damn ears off. "Two free bathrooms?" she asks.
Sagittarius gestured a thumb to where Aqua and Taurus were walking to. "Yeah, Virgo and I finished ours," she finally speaks.
Sweet. So she speaks. Just not to me today. I should be happy, but I'm more irritated than that.
Gemini quickly runs over there. We all watch her. Aquarius was already in one bathroom. Taurus had Gemini slung over his shoulder as he was walking back to us.
"Stop! I need to shower!" Gemini yells, slapping Taurus' back. He seemed to not mind it.
"Nuh uh," Taurus says, plopping her down next to us, "Not yet," he smirks.
He was walking over there now, and Gemini pouted and crossed her arms.
"Can't you be more like Gem and be eager to take a shower? You're seriously sweating," Virgo cringed and wafted her nose.
I roll my eyes. "Won't I smell anyway?"
Virgo nodded. "Yeah, but it wouldn't be noticable if all of us smell the same way. And right now, you're the only one who smells."
I noticed Sagittarius still not saying anything. I went over to her and wrapped an arm around her. "Sagittarius doesn't think I smell. Do you?" I ask her.
She quickly gets away from me. "Fuck off," she mumbles under her breath. I heard her though. She obviously didn't want me to hear, but I heard anyway.
I smiled. "Fuck you too," I say.
Sagittarius ignores me and grabs Virgo's wrist as she was dragging her downstairs with her.
What the fuck is her problem? Aren't I the one who gives her the silent treatment when she annoys me? That bothered me, but I decided to leave it alone. She's Sagittarius. She's always annoying even when she's not trying to be. She'll annoy me anytime soon.
"She must be really mad at you~," Gem sings to me.
I whip my head to her now. "Yeah? What's her problem?"
"Well, for one, you didn't accept her apology," the two-faced girl was saying to me.
I roll my eyes. "She's mad at that?"
Gem shrugged her shoulders. "Maybe she's just tired of you finally. She did try hard to be your friend," she says.
I squint my eyes at her. "So she's mad because I'm not her friend?"
Gemini groaned. "Nevermind, you don't get it, Scorpio," she says, rolling her eyes.
"Then tell me what I don't get," I say, throwing my hands up in the air.
She shrugged her shoulders. "Who cares anyway. Certainly not you, right?" she asks, looking straight ahead now.
I didn't say anything after that. I know it shouldn't bother me, but it does. She stopped arguing with me for a while now. I didn't even realize I was the one causing arguments with her anytime I get now. She would just ignore slight comments I make or correct me and give up. I don't understand why she's so mad now.
Aries came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist. "Gem," he calls out.
Gemini's eyes lit up as she saw the free bathroom.
"Bathroom's free," Aries says, leaving it.
Gemini closed her eyes and lifted her head up. "Thank God!" she yells.
Next thing you knew, I was in the bathroom, closing the door.
"Goddammit!!!!!" Gemini shouts at the top of her lungs.
Whoops!
*A While Later*
Everyone was downstairs, waiting for Lupus to arrive. Gemini, Sagittarius, Aquarius, Libra, and Virgo were all sitting on the couch. Libra was laying down on Aquarius' lap and had her feet on Virgo's.
Leo and Aries were just sitting on the floor, leaning on each other's backs. Cancer was sitting down between Pisces and Taurus. I was just standing at the stairway with Cap.
"Should we talk about Ophiuchus now?" Aquarius asks.
Sagittarius shook her head. "No thanks," she insisted. "We're here to be trained to destroy him, remember? That's all we can talk about."
"Why would we want to destroy him?" Pisces asks.
Sagittarius and Aquarius looked at him weirdly. "Huh?" the ask in unison.
"I mean, he did save you," Taurus told Aquarius.
"Yeah, but Pisces," Aquarius says, turning to him again now, "you were just against him yesterday."
"And you were right too," Sagittarius sadly says.
Pisces shrugged his shoulders. "I probably overreacted a bit."
"He almost killed you. And Cancer and Scorpio-"
"But he didn't," Cancer interrupted Aquarius.
Sagittarius shook her head. "While there's no way in hell I'm trusting him again," she says. Then she snorted with laughter. "Get it? Hell? Because Ophiuchus was in h-"
"Sag, that's mean. He was probably... sad there," Aries says, interrupting his best friend.
It was silent for a while. Then Sagittarius and Aquarius burst out of laughter. "You're serious? Aries Ram actually being sympathetic?" Aquarius joked.
Sagittarius was finishing up her laugh. "Okay, okay, so anyways," she says, "let's be serious."
"But we are serious," Gemini says.
Aquarius shook her head. "No, I mean, serious serious."
Gemini and Cancer gave each other a confused look.
"I know I hate the bastard and all, but let's not tell Lupus about yesterday," I blurted out.
Why did I say that? I didn't mean to say that. I didn't even mean to say anything at all.
Sagittarius and Aquarius give me a weird look too. I understood why. If I was them, I would look like that too.
"Weren't you the main one who hted him?" Sagittarius asks, finally talking to me.
I shrugged. "He was scared. I understood that."
Why am I speaking? Stop speaking, Scorpio. Shut the fuck up.
"But you can't accept my apology?" she asks, furrowing her brows. Then she looked down at her lap. "Okay," she mumbled.
Then there was a knock at the door. Leo immediately sprung up to open it. There it was Lupus in her gym clothes. I'll admit, she looks fucking hot.
"Lupus!" Leo says, taking her hand, "we're glad you're here," he says, checking her out. He probably didn't even realize he was doing it.
Virgo rolled her eyes like usual while Lupus entered the house. "Goodmorning, Zodiacs," she greeted. "Did everybody eat today?"

Pisces laughed with her.
"Okay, is everybody ready for training?" Lupus asks.
Everybody nodded again.
"Sweet! Then let's go!"
