Cancer's POV

I was at my own house tonight watching movies with Scorpio, Gemini, and Libra. We were going to invite Leo for Scorpio to have a guy to hang out with, but I guess they're mad at each other. Capricorn should be coming here soon. I was in the kitchen popping popcorn for us to eat.

"What movie are we watching?" Libra asked.

"Doesn't matter," I reply with.

"This is so cliche," Scorpio said almost laughing.

"What is?" Libra asked him.

"Watching a movie with a group of girls and boys," he says.

I walk in the living room with the bowl of popcorn and turned my head to him, "It is? I thought it was pretty cute."

"Of course, you did. Everything's cute to you," he said laughing at me.

I placed the popcorn in his lap and sat between him and Gem. Gem was awfully quiet today it made me sad. I didn't ask anything because I figured she's just sleepy.

Knock, knock, knock. I looked over at the door and see Libra open it. Capricorn came out.

"It's about time," Scorpio said still sitting down next to me.

Libra hugged Cap before he could even walk in. I don't want to make assumptions, but I think she likes him. She's always 500% happier when he's anywhere near her. Capricorn laughed as he broke up the hug. "What movie are we watching?"

I see Scorpio already eating the popcorn on his lap. I didn't even realize I was looking at him.

"We should watch a comedy," Libra says.

"Yeah, let's watch a comedy," Gemini says finally speaking.

Capricorn and Libra sit next to each other with Libra sitting next to Gemini. Scorpio was sitting closest to the light, so he turned them all off as the movie started. I could barely pay attention to the movie. I don't know if it's obvious, but I really like Scorpio. More than a friend. I'm not really sure if he likes me back, though. It's like every second of the movie while it was dark, I just wanted to touch him. His hand or something. I sighed not realizing I did it.

"You good?" Scorpio whispered to me not looking away from the screen.

I look at him and his perfect figure. "Yeah," I responded.

He looked at me this time and smirked at me. I don't know why I feel like this. It's just a smirk. He always smirks. I look down at my hands and decided to get more popcorn. The popcorn was passed down to Capricorn since Scorpio kept eating it all.

"Can you pass me the popcorn?" I ask Gem. She didn't look away from the screen, but reached over to get the popcorn from Cap's lap. I didn't realize it before, but Libra and Cap were both sleeping. Libra's head was on Cap's shoulder as his arm was bringing her in closer.

That's so cute I thought to myself. I eat a little bit of popcorn, and realized that I'm not even hungry.  "Do you want some?" I ask Gem. She shook her head still fixated on the movie. I turn to Scorpio this time. "Popcorn?" I whispered to him.

He looked at me. Well, the bowl of popcorn really.  He took the bowl to his lap and started eating it. I lean over to get some popcorn myself, even though I wasn't hungry. Scorpio and Gem laughed during the movie, and I wasn't paying attention, but I laughed too so it seemed like I did.

I then looked back at Lib and Cap who were sleeping on each other. That gave me a perfect idea! I forced a yawn and acted like I was sleepy when I really was wide awake. I leaned my head on Scorpio's chest. He flinched a little.

"Now this is really cliche," he said whispering and laughing at me.

Why is he laughing at me? I thought it was cute. He's always so confusing. I don't know if he likes me or not and it's driving me crazy. I fake laughed to hide my embarassment. I look over to Gem who was almost falling asleep until the end of the movie.

When the movie finally ended, the three of us were awake. Scorpio turned on the light and saw Lib and Cap. "I always thought they had a thing for each other," he says laughing.

"Same. They're so cute," Gemini says pulling out her phone and taking a picture of them.

I nodded my head. It was very cute. It's like they were meant to be together.

"Anyways," Scorpio says. "It was nice hanging out with you guys."

I bet it was nice to hang out with us. Especially since nobody talks during movies, and he doesn't really talk to people.

"But I have to get going," he says getting up from the couch.

"Why aren't you staying over?" I asked.

"There's no room on the couch. We are most definitely not going to be in the same bed together. And I don't sleep on floors," he said.

I nodded my head in agreement. "Yeah," I say, "You're right. Um, anyways I'll see you later, Scorpio."

He waved to me and Gem and left. Gemini looked at me like she was solving a puzzle. "Why don't you tell him you like him?"

I looked at her with wide eyes. "How did you know?"

She almost laughed at me. "Seriously, everyone knows. And by everyone I mean everyone excluding the oblivious Fire Signs and Scorpio."

I shook my head. "I don't want to be rejected. What if it ruins our friendship?"

She looks at me as if she was about to cry now. "Cance, you can't hide your feelings. The worst thing he could do is stay out of your life. He'd be a complete idiot if he thinks that's okay. Just tell him how you feel. Don't walk up to him and kiss him out of nowhere, but you should go for it."

I nodded my head. "Yeah, I'll do it," I said trying to sound confident. The sad thing is, I don't even know if I will.
