Y/n pov

Y/n:" W-what?"

Manager:" Sorry Y/n, but due to budget cuts we have to let you go. It's not your fault."

Y/n:" Oh, ok..."

I left the building filled with sadness. I had to pay my bills in 2 weeks and had almost no food. I walked into my small apartment and collapsed on my couch. My hands were in my eyes and I was about to cry. I could hardly believe I had been fired. Getting by was hard enough and now my luck has run out. I turned on my box of a Tv and began watching f/s. Suddenly, an advertisement came on the screen.

Familiar voice:" Come down to Freda's pizzeria and apply for the night shift, help needed. Join our family today by calling 1-800-Freda.

I soon recognized the voice as Mike Schmidt, one of my foster parents from my childhood after my parents died. I called almost instantly and heard his voice.

Mike:" Hello, are you calling about the job?"

Y/n:" My god it is you Mike, yes I'm calling for the job.

Mike:" Y/n is that you? Holy shit it's been forever. How are you?"

Y/n:" Just getting by, as per usual."

Mike:" Well that's good. Of course your hired, come down to the restaurant to get more info on the job."

Y/n:" Sure, bye."

I hung up and jumped in the air instantly. I was overly happy to hear I was already getting a new job. I hopped on my bike and started riding over to the pizzeria.
