Chapter 50 🌹

~Y/N POV~

This past week has been a long one.

Crying on and off for days, Joy going to school and feeling guilty for it when she has nothing to be guilty about. I just wish I could go back to school, I still don't know if I can just yet, it's never been brought up in any conversations we have.

Through the castle I decided to explore some more. There is still a few places I haven't been yet and I was looking for one vampire in particular. I haven't seen much of him lately and it worries me.

Taehyung told me where I'd most likely find him and he even drew me a map on the castle. A floor plan is what it really looks like of each floor within the castle. Four floors in total and that's not including the basement, dungeon and attic that they have too. This castle is so much bigger on the inside than you would think just looking at it from the out side.

I followed the map I was given staring at my bedroom and according to Taehyung I would find him in their own personal kitchen they have. A kitchen they use for their own needs or to do whatever they want with it. No maids of even butler Choi come to the kitchen.

Walking through the empty halls I found myself at another pair of wooden doors that shaped into a arch. It was a little different than the other doors but either way I pushed it open with both hands. The doors were on the little heavy side but I managed. It'll take some greeting use to I suppose.

Walking inside I found him already looking at me, his head tilted down but his eyes fully on me as of mid way mixing whatever it was he was making, but I could already tell by the smell what it was.

"Are you okay? Can I help you with something?"

"No, Jin I'm fine. I was looking for you."

He began stirring again with a raised brow.

"Oh, why?" Jin

"I just wanted to spend some time with you."

"Aw, well I'm just making cookies." Jin

I took a deep breath in, taking in the smell of the cookies that surprisingly didn't disgust me like some smells do right now.

"I can tell by the smell but they smell oddly familiar."

Jin pauses stirring, and stared into the he corner do the room like he had just been frozen.

"Jin? What are you doing?"

He blinked a few times and then continued to stir again. He faked cough a few times and I took a few more steps into the room to take up a seat at the large wooden table not too far away from him.

"Y/n, I have a confession to make." Jin

He dropped the whisk into the bowl and wiped his hands down his black apron.

"Oh?"

I rested my hands on the table and watched him walk around the kitchen island to come over to me and stand next to my chair.

He seems oddly nervous, with his shaky hands and his fingers picking at his sleeves.

"The cookies, you always thought your mom made, was ac-" Jin

"Was you. Yeah, I know."

He gasped but smiled at the same time.

"How did you know?" Jin

I shrugged, like it was nothing.

"I could recognise that smell anywhere and we both know my mom wasn't the best baker no matter how hard she tried."

Both of us laughing at the very same fact. My mom sucked at it, no matter what she did different or read instructions it just always went wrong. That's why I always knew someone else was doing it for her, so that meant Jin was the one that kept sneaking into my kitchen to make cookies.

"That's true. It was useless to try and teach that woman how to bake." Jin

He turned back around with his back to me and made his way back to his bowl but stopped have way to look over his shoulder at me.

"Would you like me to show you how to make these cookies?" Jin

Instead of answering I just stood up and followed him excitedly to his mixing bowl. I do want to learn how to make them, I couldn't exactly learn from my mom even with her trying.

"You seem excited?" Jin

"Oh I am! These cookies are always the best."

I heard him chuckle and pick up the whisk to pass it to me.

"You have to keep mixing until it turns to dough. Then you use your hands." Jin

I nod at him and begin mixing. He then pulled over a baking tray closer to the both of us and put on grease proof paper. When I noticed in the corner of my eye that he didn't move, except stand there and stare at me, I stopped mixing to look at him confusingly.

His eyes were set on my middle region around my stomach so when I noticed him doing that I knew exactly what he was doing and went back to mixing, just leaving him to stare away.

Out of the four vampires I would still say that Jin and Yoongi were the two that are the most quiet and unsure of how to react around me. Hoseok has become more open and happy about it since I had the scans and Taehyung was just out right happy about since the day he found out.

"Your starting to show a little." Jin

A barely there voice came from his lips but I heard it. I myself noticed a little this morning and I'm only close to 11 weeks, but I suppose that will happen when you're pregnant with four.

"Yeah, I know. It looks like I've just ate a six course meal."

I chuckled and he only hummed quietly stuck in his own thoughts. Hopefully one day he'll be a bit more open about it. So I decided to change the subject.

"What were you and Yoongi talking to Kai about at the funeral?"

I put the whisk down and took a step to the side to use the sink to wash my hands.

"What?" Jin

"At the funeral. I saw you and Yoongi talking to Kai, he looked a little off when he was watching Irene."

His eyes lit up with his mouth forming an O shape and I dried my hands with a small kitchen towel.

"Oh yeah. Kai found out Irene is his mate." Jin

I dropped the towel and froze.

.............

WHAT?!

"No way! Are you serious?! That's big news for him! Ha! What a coincidence that turned out to be!"

It was pretty funny but at the same time I felt happy for the both of them. I know too well what all that meant.

"Yeah. He was a it unstable at first when he saw her, clueless is the best way to describe it really." Jin

"But of course he would be. He's still new to the whole vampire thing."

He nods and bends down to pick up the towel I dropped and folded it neatly to place it down.

"Yes but he's learning very fast in his duties too. I think I made a wise decision with making him our new advisor." Jin

Nodding to himself I couldn't help but watch him stand there patting down the towel with his hand and kicking his lips.

"That was your idea?"

Again with his nodding did he slowly turn to look at me in the eyes.

"Yes." Jin

We stayed there staring at one another, deep into each other's eyes. To be honest I have no idea what is happening but I'm not hating it. He had so much going on in his head I just wished he would speak to me about it.

Tension built up in the room and to be honest that was the last thing I wanted right now so to ease away that tension, I reached my hand over to a bag of flour, slowly, very very slowly. Taking a lump of it into my hand, I knew what I was about to do and it'll be so funny.

Preparing myself to throw this at him did I steadily move my hand away from the back.

"If you throw that at me you're going to regret it." Jin

I burst out laughing and threw it at him. The flour spreading all over his face and clothes. Now he was white all over and even in his hair.

"I told you, you would regret that." Jin

He wiped his face from the flour and use his vampire speed to open another cupboard and grab another flour and tear it open to throw all over me. That happened within seconds before I could even try and escape away from the flour.

This time he laughed at me with flour all over my hair and clothes.

"Oh no! What have I done?!" Jin

I scowled at him and picked up the whole bag of flour and threw some more on him.

"Take that!"

He used his hands this time to cover his face and turn half his body away from me.

"Hey! Come here!" Jin

I squealed with excitement and ran across the kitchen from him. This time he didn't use his vampire speed on me and chased after me.

"No stay away!"

I still had the bag of flour in my hands and tried to scatter more on top him but unfortunately he moved too fast and I couldn't cover him in flour as much as I'd like.

"You're gonna have to do better than that!" Jin

I ran around the large wooden table, laughing to a point I almost couldn't breath, ran back into the kitchen area which was a bad idea. Jin picked up more flour and tossed it my way. I quickly turned around and the flour hit my back.

"I'm too fast for you!"

Knowing that's not true even in the least but it was fun to make funny remarks like that. We we're both laughing and having a good time, throwing flour at each other and just making one hell of a mess.

He grabbed me and we both dropped to the floor with his arms wrapped around my waist as we sat on our bums, trying to control our laughing. This moment in the kitchen was exactly what I needed from all the mourning I had been doing after my parents funeral.

I think Jin needed it too.

As our laughter began to subside again we stared into each other's eyes, but this time it was different from before. We were both smiling at one another and I was trying to catch my breath from all the laughing and running I was doing.

Jin gently tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear, to the brush his finger slowly down my neck until he came to a stop to place his full hand on the nose of my neck and pull me closer forwards to him.

Our lips met and he slowly and gently kissed me on the lips with his plump ones. Oh how I use to dream about this but now I can make that dream come true.
I would say lust was the right word for the kids we shared but it was love.

In a way he was showing me just how much he cared while we sat on the messy floor covered in flour that I can taste on his lips as I'm sure he could on mine.

The kitchen doors banged open, making both myself and Jin flinch apart to look up from the floor and who ever just entered. There was laughter from the two that interrupted us and Jin groans in annoyance.

"Hey! Can we join?!" Jimin
