Chapter 47 🌹
~Y/N POV~
This morning I decided to take a walk through the garden again and to this beautiful little pond that's here.
I'm more free to walk around the castle grounds now and within the castle since butler Choi informed me that all their staff had been interrogated and they're all still loyal compared to that one maid, Sara. They've even had more guards around the area of the castle as well.
So I'm taking advantage and take this walk to the pond. I have nothing else to do, my soulmates are busy with Kai and Joy was gone off to school. I would want to read more of that book that joy brought in yesterday. I'd like to know more to this whole situation if there's more to it.
Now at the pond I sit down at the edge and take off my shoes and socks to tip my feet in it. I was feeling a little hot today but I couldn't tell if it was due to the weather or because I'm pregnant with four vampire babies.
That's a lot to take in but to also find out that secretly four of them wanted this and the unknowingly for me pregnant is another shock for one day.
It makes me think, so the other three also want children too?
After they told me they didn't, I was so certain that I was destined to not have children of my own but now four!
Four by four different people!
I'm not stupid to not know that this could cause problems. I know this could be a complicated pregnancy but I'm willing to go through it. I'll most likely show soon too, if I'm carrying four at one time. Jin says I'm nine weeks so maybe a couple more then I'll show just a little, I think.
I'm not too sure, it is my first pregnancy after all and for all I know, if this doesn't work out, then it could be my last. I hope not but you never know what's around the corner.
I never knew walking into this castle a couple months ago would completely change everything about my life.
My life went from simple and normal to crazy and super unpredictable.
It's just I wish my mom and dad were here with me. Clearly my mom knew I was pregnant and if she knew my dad would of known too but said nothing about it. Maybe they wanted me to find out myself or something? I don't know but I miss them all the time. If it's okay I'd actually like to do something special in this garden to honour their memory.
My mom use to tell me a story of how she met my dad and how he asked her to marry him. It all happened in this very garden.
When I was younger she never told me what garden, just that it was in a garden but now that I know it was this very same garden I'd like to do something special for them. My dad proposed to my mom in the very same place they met and she said it just so happened by a fountain on the grounds. I've never seen a fountain here so I have to clue where it is.
"Y/n?"
I gasped at the mention of my name and flinched back to throw a hand over my heart.
(HOBI DAY IS HERE!!)
"Oh my god! Hoseok! You scared me!"
"Sorry. You just seemed in a world of you own." Hoseok
He chuckled at me and took a seat next to me and handed me a towel. I frowned at him and his smiled widen. It surprised me he was smiling now. The last time I seen him smile was the day before I found his basement.
"I saw you walk through here and thought you would need this. It turns out I was right." Hoseok
He pointed at my feet in the cool pond water that seemed to do the trick in cooling me off.
"Oh yeah. I was feeling a little hot so I thought this would be a good idea."
His smile quickly disappears and furrowed his brows at me and tighten his lips.
"Is your fever burning up again?" Hoseok
He reached out with his hand to touch my fire head but instead I grabbed and held his hand over my lap.
"I'm fine. I think because it's a hot day it made me feel hot but the water has cooled me down n's I don't feel hot anymore."
He nods and tightens the grip around my hand on his.
"Okay. Just tell me if you do start to feel hot again though. Don't want to take any risks." Hoseok
"I will don't worry."
I smiled at him and a small smile crept back up on his lips. After that we sat in silence, I watched the water shimmering from the sunlight and the flowers blooming around to make the place so much more colourful than the grass surrounding it.
"Could I ask you something Hobi?"
I didn't look at him but at the water and he hummed.
"Is there a fountain around here somewhere?"
I turned to look at him and he was already blankly staring back at me. Was he watching me?
"There is. It's just beyond those trees over there." Hoseok
He points at some bushes and trees behind me.
"Why?" Hoseok
"I just wanted to see it. My mom said that's where dad proposed and where they met. I think I want to do something special for them there."
He nods and stands up, forcing me to follow his lead and stand up with him, taking me feet out the water and to stand on the towel that I dropped.
"I'll show you where it is." Hoseok
"But what about me feet? They're still wet and my shoes and socks?"
"I'll carry you and have someone come for your shoes." Hoseok
"How could you do that?"
He grins and picks me up bridal style quickly before I say anything more.
"Like this." Hoseok
I watched how his lips moved quickly but no sound came from them. If I didn't watch his lips as closely as I did then I wouldn't of noticed anything.
"What did you do?"
He laughs at me and nods in a direction in front.
"You'll see." Hoseok
Seconds later butler Choi comes running through the bushes, bows then picks up the towel, shoes and socks and bows again to run away again.
"How did you do that?"
"Magic." Hoseok
"But what am I going to wear on my feet now. They'll be dry soon."
He shrugged and started walking in the direction he pointed to earlier.
"I'll just have to carry you around all day." Hoseok
"But I'll get heavy."
I wrapped my arms around his neck, which so happens to have pulled our faces a little more closer than before.
"No you won't. I'll carry you anywhere." Hoseok
I stared back at him in awe, deep into his brown eyes that stared back at me. He definitely was staring deep into my soul as I returned that very same look, his eyes traveled to my lips then back into my eyes looking back up ahead of us, with a gentle hint of a smile.
It's been a while since I've spent time with Hoseok and I don't think we ever had one on one time before. I want to spend one on one time with all of them and I guess I can use today for one of those times.
Moments later and many trees and even more flowers passed us by as Hoseok continued to walk a head, he finally came to a stop.
He gently put my feet down on the ground and I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed at the place I finally can see with my own two eyes and not just from the stories I would hear.
It was just as beautiful as she described.
The perfect green hedges and bright coloured followers with a perfectly running fountain, that still looked new.
"Beautiful isn't it?" Hoseok
He stood next to me to look around himself at the colours surrounding the place.
"It is. My mom would tell me about this place all the time but I never knew it was here until just before she died."
"I can see why Daehyun picked this place to propose. I actually remember the day." Hoseok
Instantly upon hearing his words I looked up at him, who was watching the water flow out the fountain.
"You were there?"
I nods once and looks down at me with another smile again.
"Yes, we all were. He was so nervous that night and we actually hid over behind that hedge over there. Of course Jungkook had a bottle of wine with him but he drunk it all by the time Daehyun asked jia to marry him. I think he was more nervous than Daehyun to be honest." Hoseok
He laughed. I didn't know that but it sounds pretty funny to imagine.
"Really? I didn't know that."
He nods while still laughing about it.
"Yeah. Your mom wasn't happy that Jungkook was drunk since he ruined the moment when he decided to take a jump in the fountain and splash her in the process." Hoseok
"She never mentioned that."
"Well it happened, believe me. But it didn't help that you dad joined him." Hoseok
Aw, I wished I seen it.
I miss them.
"Hey, y/n. They're in a better place now. Together." Hoseok
He grabbed me by the shoulders to turn to face him face to face and I couldn't help but let all the tears fall. I miss them so much it hurts.
A pair of hands were placed on each side of my face against my cheeks and he wiped away my tears as they fell.
"It's never easy losing your parents y/n. Believe me I know, but you'll get through this. You've got all of us to help you, you're not alone." Hoseok
After he spoke I did the least expected and leaned in closer to his face until our lips touched. My action surprised him at first but he quickly responded back and let go of my face to pull my closer to his body by my hips.
One of his hands travelled to my neck and lingered there as we both deepen the kiss that was not just full of lust but want, love and just everything I could hope for. God I missed him.
