~KAI POV~

I have to get back to the kings castle. This is all wrong and I didn't want y/n to get hurt. Luckily not much has happened to her when I'm around but unfortunately I can't be around all the time right now and the most she has gotten would be a black eye and a broken wrist.

Hyeon told me she might get hurt before all this and of course I was not okay with it. I still love y/n and I don't want her hurt. I thought Hyeon would help me make her mine but not this way, it's wrong and I have to help her.

Yes I have a temper that I hid form her and and I treated her so badly but if I can get her out of this maybe, if we both live through this we can move forward as just friends if she can ever forgive me, maybe. I hope.

Now that's I'm a vampire that means those seven kings are now my kings and I know they're looking for y/n and I've also heard for the past two days they've been looking for me too. In total they've been looking for her for four days and I can't bare to watch her suffer any more.

Her health is getting worse and I try to look after her when no one is around. Just to bring her fever down and give her more food. She needs it, they may bring her upstairs now to dine with Hyeon and his mate, Sara, but they don't feed her a lot and like I said before she needs it.

The only thing I could think of was finding a way to sneak past Hyeon and his men and get to the castle. Even if it means they kill me for it, I'll try my best to tell them before they do. They need to know where she is.

The problem with that is because Hyeon knows they're looking for me also, he likes to keep me in the underground bar.

But today he's assigned sam to look after me. He may be a loyal right hand man to Hyeon but I've learned he's very stupid and easily distracted. He's scary looking with how much muscle he has and the tattoos on the side of his bald head but still, very stupid.

Which in his case is stupid to watch me.

He likes to watch the vampires girls dance in front of him in the private back room. Me, I'm not really that interested right now. I was when I first turned but now I have more matters in my mind to deal with.

Since no one else is here in this bar except myself, Sam and two girls, maybe it's a good chance to sneak away. There's the forest just a few feet away from the exit when you reach the surface, since this place is in an isolated place not far away from the nearest village of vampires.

I doubled check with just moving around the room at first to too if Sam noticed but he didn't. His eyes were fully trained on the girls, swaying their hips as they barely wore any clothes. He was grinning at them, leaning back in his chair enjoying the view.

Now step number two. Talk to him for a response.

"Hey Sam? Do you want a drink?"

Again no response because this time one of the girls have made a move towards him and to sit in his lap.

Not he's all good and distracted. I should go now.

Taking one quick glance on him, to run out the door then out into the empty dance floor and the bar where no one currently stood until at least tonight. The place was dead empty, but that didn't stop me. My full focus was to get out that front door and away I go, to find out my fate as well as hopefully help save y/n from the nightmare she's in.

When running out the door to the open forest I had to be careful to not be too noisy to attract attention in case Sam catches on.

Then once that cool air breezes through me I ran like I've never ran before. Following that very powerful and dominant scent above all the scents I could smell around me. This must be what they smell like to others as well as just me, it's a tell to how they are I suppose.

I approached their castle grounds in no time and even jumped their gates to run up to their front door. Instead of knocking like I should I gained courage out of my urgency to quickly make my way inside with out knocking.

At least one of them had to be here.

But within one second of me setting foot inside I was picked up and thrown across the room like a doll and a rather thick wooden table broke my fall. I groaned in pain from impact but didn't have tike time process that because I was picked up by the neck and slammed against the wall with a hand pressing against my air waves.

One thing Hyeon did tell me was that we don't need to breathe to survive but it hurts like hell when we don't receive it, in fact it's like a burning sensation in the chest where the lungs are from being cut off from oxygen.

"You're fucking brave to show your face here, aren't you?"

It was king Yoongi.

For some reason I found him more scarier than before when I was human but maybe it's the powerful aura about him now that makes me feel low compared to him.

I tried to speak but no words came out because of his hold on my neck. The burning in my chest was very much real and I think he was enjoying my pain too as his eyes described fire, anger and pain all at once. He's in pain but he won't show it.

"What was that? I can't hear you." Yoongi

He chuckled to only squeeze even more. My eyes rolling to the back of my head from some sort of hot fluid build up in my lungs. Maybe I won't be able to tell them all about y/n?

"Yoongi let him go." Namjoon

His voice came out as barely there too me but I also felt like I could pass out and his voice came from a far away distance.

"Why?! He's at fault here too!! He took her!!" Yoongi

He snapped back at Namjoon but I didn't know too much after that until Yoongi eventually let go of neck that made me fall to the floor.

I immediately began couching but also prepared in case I was attacked again. My hand around my throat taking deep breathes until that pain in my lungs soothed over and back to normal.

"What are you doing here?!"

I looked over at king Hoseok, I was about to stand again but I noticed how king Yoongi gave me a warning glare. I cowards down and didn't dare move again.

"I-I'm here about y/n."

I lowered my gaze to the floor, head hanging low with the sound of steps on the cold stone floor came near me until the black dress shoes were visible in my sight.

That's when I noticed someone's knees dressed in grey trousers.

"You're very lucky the younger three aren't here right now. They would of killed you on the spot." Namjoon

He chuckled as he spoke and I only nodded slowly in agreement. I just couldn't find the courage to look at him now. I've never felt so small in my life.

"What's your purpose here?" Namjoon

"He has no purpose!! Let's kill him!" Yoongi

He hissed next to me and I flinched back against the wall.

"No! He clearly came here for a reason." Namjoon

"Namjoon we never ask questions!" Hoseok

This time I look up at all of them and Namjoon now stand up to turn his head and glare at Hoseok.

"Yes, but when it comes to y/ns whereabouts we need to ask questions. Now! Kai what is your purpose here?!" Namjoon

He shouted back at me and I gulped with my threat feeling unusually dry.

"WHAT IS HE DOING HERE?!"

In a blink later I was pinned against the wall again but by the collar of my shirt.

"Jin!! Let go of him! He was about to talk!" Namjoon

Jin bared her sharp vampire teeth at me, staring into my very dark soul. He was having a inner battle with himself to let me go or not but shook his head slowly.

"NO! HE TOOK Y/N!! WHERE IS SHE?!" Jin

I closed my eyes when his face became so close to mine, shouting in my face.

"T-that's why I-I'm here."

He instantly dropped me and again I was dropped to the floor.

"Talk." Jin

I coughed once more, not because I needed to but because I was well nervous.

"Erm, well. H-Hyeon told me h-he could help me make y-y/n mine. So I agreed to help h-him kidnap her but s-shes ill and Hyeon has h-hit her a few t-times."

The air became still and the atmosphere became even more dangerous than before at my words.

"He WHAT?!" Jin

"We're gonna kill him!!!" Hoseok

Again I looked down at the floor.

"She's very ill and I've tried to help her. B-but he now won't l-let me near her. You s-see she-"

"Where is she?!" Jin

I gulped and looked up at him. He was shaking his head at me with hands on his hips. It confused me why he did that but just shook it off.

"She's located in the underground basement at hyeons house just west of here. I can take you to her."

I found more courage to speak, but yelped when Jin picked me up by the collar with one hand and pulled me close so his face was next to my ear.

"Don't say anything. I know but do not tell the others." Jin

Nodding to what he says but my eyes searching the room that was now empty. Just the two of us were here.

He let me go again and I stumbled backwards on my feet.

"Not a word." Jin

He pointed his finger at me with daring red eyes and again I nodded.

"Yes, your majesty."

I bowed to him and he hummed.

"Good. They've all gone to get the other three. Since your useful to us for now we won't kill you, yet. We'll decide your fate after we get y/n back. So now we need a plan and you're not leaving this castle until then, with us." Jin

I nodded.

"If I go back, I'll be killed anyway."

I sighed while he frowned to what I said.

"Why would he kill you?" Jin

"Because I was under lockdown somewhere else. An illegal underground bar, away from y/n. Not only was he hiding me from her but also from all of you. If he finds that I'm gone and not with y/n, he'll know I betrayed him. It's what's right and we both know she can't be there. I'll truly be sorry for what I did and if means you all kill me for it then so be it."

King Jin just looked me up and down in silence. No expression shown to what he was thinking or even feeling while I stood there awkwardly.

"Well like I said. It'll be decided later. That bar, we'll also have to discuss and you'll have to tell us more about that so we can deal with it." Jin

I nodded in silence and put my hands in my pockets.

"Don't do that. Take your hands out your pockets. It's rude around the presence of your king!" King Jin

Immediately taking my hands out my pockets and bowed in a 90 degree angle. Now that's I'm vampire despite what has happened between all of us I couldn't help but fear and respect the man, all of them actually.

"I'm sorry."

He hummed.

"That's better. Now follow me, we'll meet everyone in our office. Don't worry, you'll be fine for now, like I said before your useful." King Jin

He started walking towards the stairs and I followed his command like a lost puppy.

"Chop, chop, keep up!" King Jin

I picked up the pace to walk directly behind him.

"You are to never lag too far behind or walk in front of your king and never have you hands in your pockets around our presence unless we give permission to do so, understood?" King Jin

"Yes your highness."

I followed his lead, close by behind him up the stairs.

"Good. You know how to address us. As you know about our dining arrangements, you are to not sit unless we give permission and you are to come when we command your presence, yes?" King Jin

Why is he talking to me like this?

"Erm, yes your highness."

"Speak properly Kai. Don't use words like erm, or eh. Be more polite spoken." King Jin

We began to walk down the long corridor, one that I actually haven't walked through before. Why didn't I come down this way before?

"Yes your highness. Sir, if you please could I ask you a question?"

He said to speak politely so that what I'll do. He stood at my question and spins around to face me but still blank on his facial expression.

"I like the way you address me already. Speak." King Jin

There was a very small hint of a smile on the corner of his lips.

"Why are you telling me all this? Aren't you going to kill me?"

His red eyes searched my face for a moment before he turned back around and began walking again.

"I have my reasons, Kai." King jin

I didn't say more and just followed him to this office he said that we would be meeting in.

God knows if I would get out of here alive since king Namjoon did say the other three would kill me if they saw me but he said they need me so that has to count for something, right?

God knows what my fate is at this point.
