~Y/N POV~

(PRESENT DAY)

"So to end with today's topic I'd like to hand out these permission slips for your parents or guardian to sign. These need to be handed back by Monday please at the very latest." Teacher

I sigh and roll my eyes, staring out the window of the classroom. Stupid class trip, I want to go but I know I'm not aloud to.

"Sir! It's only Friday! That doesn't give a lot of time!" Joy

My best friend since I was 10 years old. She's like the sister I never had.

"In fact yes it does. If you want to spend the two weeks at the vampires castle to learn more about their history then two days will give plenty for your parents to sign the forms." Mr park

Just talk about it some more why don't you!

I love the class but I can't help but stew in jealousy that I know I won't be able to go. My friends will be going so that would leave me at school, alone. There's two reasons that I want to go one is to learn the vampire history, it's always been so fascinating to me and the second was to hopefully spend some more quality time away from parents and school with my gorgeous boyfriend.

A form was thrown to my desk and I couldn't even look at it. I picked it up and pushed it into my bag just as the school bell went off, end of class and now beginning of the weekend.

I internally yelled with excitement and gathered my things.

"Y/n! You have to convince your mom and dad to sign the consent form!" Joy

She was literally beaming with excitement all of her face, and waving the piece of paper in her hands while I throw my bag on my back.

"I know I do. I'll try again but we'll see."

I linked arms with her and proceeded to leave the classroom together. Both walking to our lockers joy couldn't stop talking about the trip and it bugged me since the chance of me actually going weren't great.

"I can't believe this trip is actually going a head! The kings never let anyone come to their castle. I wonder what they've got up their sleeves." Joy

She stroked up chin looking up to the ceiling as we reached out lockers. I smiled at her and took out two notebooks that I would be needed for homework that's due next week. I might as well get it over with over the two days off school.

Joys gasped making me flinch and widen my eyes at her.

"What if they plan to suck us dry!" Joy

I roll my eyes at her and nudge her side with my elbow and slam my Locker shut.

"I'm sure there's one king in particular that you want to suck you dry."

I wiggle my eyes at joy as she becomes a blushing mess. She's got a vampire fetish and a massive crush on the one called Jimin.

My dad works for them so there's been a few time over the years I've seen them face to face but they've never spoken to me. They're very intimidating and scary looking but I think it's all an act to be honest. When they look at me there's something there that tells me all that scary aura about them is fake.

"Hey! You have a crush on all of them so don't diss me!" Joy

She smacked my shoulder and laughed at my now blushing face. It's true, they're all breathtakingly beautiful that I couldn't possibly choose a favourite. It's our secret though, I wouldn't want my boyfriend Kai to know about it, he can get very jealous.

"Babe!"

Suddenly I was engulfed in a pair of arms. I sunk back into the warmth knowing full well who it is.

"Kai!"

I spun around to kiss him on the lips and sink further into his chest for a hug. He must of ditched class because I didn't see him there.

"Where were you? You missed class."

I pulled back to have a proper look at his face smiling down at me.

"I was in the gym. Coach gave me a pass to miss today's history lesson to train for the game tomorrow night." Kai

Ah right well that makes sense, since he plays soccer and trains out in the schools field for practice.

"Okay then. Are you still okay giving me a lift home?"

He smiles and takes me hand in his, nodding down at me.

"Of course, your parents may not like me enough to let me come in but it's the least I could do to drop you off." Kai

I always feel guilty when he mentions that. My parents are very protective of me because of my past and I'm very grateful for it and I've grown up close to them but they have made it clear they don't like my boyfriend, not one bit. I'm hoping one day they change their minds but it's been a year and they still won't let him in the door.

"Thank you."

I peck his lips as we start to walk down the corridor with joy by my side who is now glued to her phone. Making small talk with Kai as we reached the parking lot of the school, Joy gasps and then starts shouting across the lot.

"Oi, bitch! Your suppose to be giving me a lift home, remember!" Joy

I turn to the direction of her shouting to find our friend Irene waving and running over to joy.

"Where have you been? You missed class too!" Joy

She smack Irene across the arm for Irene to then scrunch you her face and rub her now sore arm.

"I was at the nurses station. I haven't been feeling so good lately." Irene

Taking a few steps to her I gently grabbed her arm to face me. She's my friend too and if she not well then I'm going to be concerned.

"Are you okay now? What did the nurse say?"

She weakly smiled but she looked behind me briefly and then lost her smile before shaking her head.

"I'm okay just now. She said I just need some rest from studying too much for the upcoming exams." Irene

That could be true but I don't buy it. I let it go.....for now.

"Okay, just let me know if you need anything. I need to go anyway, kai's waiting for me but I'll see you both tomorrow at his game right?"

I took glance between the two. Joy was her excited self nodding rapidly while Irene was pale and slowly nodded with her fake smile.

"Great, I'll see you both tomorrow!"

I didn't wait for a response from them and just ran off back to Kai who was now waiting by his car, leaning up against it like a model doing a shoot for a car commercial.

"I better get you home before your dad whips my ass!" Kai

He chuckled getting into the driver seat while I get in the passenger. That is a true fact too, I'm under strict instructions to go home immediately after school to check in with my parents before going anywhere else. My dad even goes as far as leaving the castle where he is all day to come back him for that one hour to check if I'm home to then leave again until late at night.

Kai soon enough started driving me home, it must of been about 20 minutes or so to drive home. He parked up just outside the house and pecked me on the lips once more before I thanked him and told him I'll text him later. Then getting out the car and running up the front garden and opening the door to the smell of delicious cookies. One thing I do know is my mom can't bake cookies but another thing I found out is someone does it for her but I've never caught them but one day I will. She keeps it a big secret from me but I'm very nosey and like to act like a secret detective.

"Mom I'm home!"

A heard a massive thud came from the kitchen, so I quickly ran to the kitchen but just as I did there was no one there, the window was left open and I sighed in frustration. I almost caught the person, was so close.

"Honey what are you doing?" Mom

I turned around to face her standing by the doorway. I walked up to the window and peeked my head out just in case I might catch a glimpse but no.

"Someone was here! It's the secret cookie maker!"

My mom chuckled and grabbed me by the waist to pull me back from the window to close it herself. She carried nothing but an amused smile on her face.

"Oh honey. That's a secret, plus we need to talk about that trip you've been wanting to go on." Mom

Great I wanted to talk to her about it too.

"Same here. I got my permission slip today, it has to be handed in by Monday."

I took the paper out my bag and waved it in her face. She laughed and took it out my hand to give it a quick read. Her smiled slowly faded and took a seat on a stool by the island centred in the middle of the room. I followed her lead, worried about her expression, I already know she's going to say no.

"Is that the permission form?"

Dad now walks into the kitchen with his hands in the pockets of his suit.

"Yes, dear. It has to be handed in by Monday. They'll be staying for two weeks, in their own rooms and they have their own schedules, it's all here with the details." Mom

She handed my dad the form to look at. Not only did it have basic information like dates and times for the trip to take place but also a information list on what we will be doing there and the times scheduled for lesson inside the castle, tours and free time. Hopefully this helps in my case for my dad to see the schedules he works there every day so I'll still see him every day but with my class, I don't see what the big deal is.

"So can I go?"

I dared ask the dreaded question. My dad slowly looked up from the paper to now put it down on the counter and look at me dead in the eyes.

"Is your boyfriend going?" Dad

I gulp at such a question.

"Yes."

My dad flared his nostrils and straightened his back, rolling back his shoulders. He's gonna say no, I can see it.

"But remember we have different rooms. I'll have joy as my room mate since we can decide."

"How do I know you won't choose him to be your room mate?" Dad

"The teacher won't allow girl/boy roommates plus we'll also be with the teachers all the time. We won't ever be alone."

I remain calm with my dad. Or at least try to, there will be time when we can be alone and Kai wants to make my first time special at the castle but only if I can go. If my dad knows that I would be locked in the house forever.

My dad opens his mouth to speak but stops when my mom speaks up.

"Babe, remember what I said?" Mom

She pulled the flirting card with him and with her soft voice at that. My dad can never argue with her when he speaks like that. They're vampire mates and my dad can't help but listen to my mom. They stare at one another while I sit awkwardly waiting. Dad throws his head back, running his hand through his brown hair before sighing heavily.

"Fine, you can go but I will be keeping an eye on you. There will be rules so if I ever find you in a room alone with that BOY, then I will take you straight home." Dad

I squeal and jump off my stool to wrap my arms around his body, hugging him tightly while he chuckled at my excited self. I can't believe he actually said yes.

"Thank you, thank you! Oh my god! I have to go tell joy!"

I let go of my dad to run to my room for my laptop to skype Joy. I wanted to see her face when I tell her I can go. She's gonna be so excited, going on this trip will be the best thing ever.
