On Monday amalia got up for 7, since it took less than 30 minutes to get ready once she was dressed she made her lunch a sandwich can of pop and chocolate bar she put it in her bag and said "I need a purse, that will be the first thing I buy, maybe one with an anime character on? I'll take my sketchbook today I'm redesigning this uniform" amalia put her things in her bag and left the car was waiting for her

On the drive she paid close attention to where they went once at school she went to class and sat in her seat, at lunch she stayed in the class room since it was quiet amalia got her phone out attached her headphones and pressed play, she ate her lunch while she drew once she'd finished her sandwich she opened her drink and tapped her pencil to her chin thinking

She took her headphones off and said "what can I add? I mean its missing something" amalia leaned back after 5 minutes said "nope dead end, maybe I'll think of it later?" amalia put her sketchbook away and opened her chocolate bar the same as yesterday her favourite one, whisper gold once she finished it she drank the rest of her drink and put the empty wrappers back in her bag

(this is what the chocolate bar looks like and is one of my faves besides fredo caramels its a british chocolate bar from cadburies)

She got her notes out and said "so let's see" as amalia was reading them over and copying them haruhi said "hello" amalia stopped and turned haruhi said "are you making notes?" amalia said "no, just copying" she said "oh, did someone give them you?" amalia shook her head haruhi said "they look like they've been read and handled a lot, can I see?" amalia nodded and passed them haruhi

Haruhi said "wow this makes it much easier to understand, where did you get these?" amalia said "t-teachers at home" haruhi said "in England" amalia nodded haruhi said "how long have you had these notes?" amalia said "s-since I was 10, e-each year they add to them" haruhi said "that's nice, this is for maths right? How many notes do you have?" amalia said "um 5 books" haruhi said "are they for all subjects?" amalia said "j-just the ones I struggle with" haruhi passed amalia the book back and said "I didn't know you were like me"

Amalia said "l-like you?" haruhi said "yeah, here on a scholarship but yours is different from mine" amalia nodded haruhi said "where are you staying?" amalia said "i-in a guest house, Mr suoh let me use it" haruhi said "wow he's nice to let you use a guest house, let me know if you need any help" amalia said "I-I will, um you said your name was haruhi?" haruhi said "yeah" amalia said "um, can I ask you a question?"

Haruhi said "sure, what did you want to ask?" amalia said "um, why do you wear the boy's uniform when you're a girl? its ok if you don't want to answer" haruhi was surprised and said "y-you knew I was a girl!" amalia nodded and said "y-your name, and a-also that uniform is just like home" haruhi said "what?" amalia showed haruhi her last class pick

Haruhi said "so this is what school is like in England? How old are you? um sorry I don't know your first name" amalia said "I-I'm 14 almost 15, and its amalia" haruhi said "what your only 14!" amalia nodded and said "y-yes is it unusual?" haruhi said "no its just I'm surprised you're in high school" amalia said "oh, um a-at home I-I've almost finished school, i-in September I would go to college" haruhi said "what I didn't know you graduated school early in England"

Amalia nodded haruhi said "so what would you have done at college?" amalia shrugged haruhi said "you seem more relaxed today" amalia said "r-really" haruhi said "yeah, didn't you bring lunch?" amalia said "n-no I've had it" haruhi said "what did you bring?" amalia said "a sandwich, drink and a chocolate bar" haruhi looked confused

Amalia said "t-that's what I have in England? you must think I'm wired, like home" haruhi said "no I don't why would I?" amalia said "everyone dose" after haruhi noticed people coming in she said "I'll see you soon amalia" amalia nodded the last class of the day was English conversation class, the teacher said "we have a new student miss light" amalia stood up she said "how are you with English miss light?" amalia said "I-I've lived in England, s-since I was born" amalia looked down she could hear the comments like "she's pathetic, so nervous" "yeah she stutters"

The teacher said "ok that's enough, miss light please come here" amalia went as she did someone tripped her she grunted as she fell everyone laughed besides haruhi, amalia got up trying not to show her tears and thought 'just like home, no matter where I go I'll get bullied' amalia went to the front the teacher said "are you alright?" amalia nodded she said "ok now please carry a conversation with me" amalia said "yes miss" the teacher said "hello, how are you?" amalia said "I'm fine" the teacher said "where did you go to school before here?" amalia said "Avalon high" the teacher said "I've never heard of that, where was that school?"

Amalia said "wales England" she said "I see are you enjoying Ouran?" amalia said "yes miss" the teacher said "I see, thank you miss light" amalia went back to her seat she put her text book up and hid her face and put her head on the desk, she could tell everyone was looking at her she heard "that's not fair, she can already speak and understand English" "yeah" amalia silently cried after class she left and went straight home, when she got there she closed the curtains and locked the door, she looked at her right wrist and undid the ribbon she cried

After she got a sewing needle and made some marks on her wrist, she followed the marks already there she made her wrist bleed after 10 minutes she washed it with water and wrapped a bandage on her wrist, after amalia just lay on her bed and said "why? I didn't do anything to them, I keep to myself I've only spoken to one person" amalia sighed and got changed out of her uniform and hung it up and got into her pjs and lay under the covers and cried

This continued for weeks, random people would pick on amalia for no reason, one day after school amalia sat in an empty room she had been given a project to work on for one of her classes, and she wanted quiet it was for art amalia said "the teacher said to draw something that defines us, but what?" amalia was struggling to think what to draw amalia said "nothing defines me, I'm not special"

Amalia looked at her emails and found one off her old school, she read it and said "so Mr hall wants me to do a blog for them, on how school is here" amalia got the web cam up and called the school Mr hall answered, he said "amalia are you calling regarding the email?" amalia said "yes sir" he said "wonderful, where are you at the moment?" amalia said "in Ouran sir" he said "I see, all you would have to do is make videos about the school, how classes are what the differences are between England and japan" amalia said "w-would I have to appear in them?" he said "not if you don't want, it's your choice"

Amalia thought 'I'm not much of a camera person, but speaking isn't too bad I can just imagine that I'm talking to myself' Mr hall said "so amalia?" amalia said "o-ok, all I would have to do is make videos about the school" Mr hall said "yes where you're staying, the school and the area it's in what shops are there and so on" amalia said "ok, how many would I have to make?" Mr hall said "just make a video when you have time, I'd also like to have a Q&A session if that's alright" amalia said "why?"

Mr hall said "it's now full knowledge around the school you were selected to go to Ouran, when classes resumed people asked where you where so we told them, they couldn't believe it but that wouldn't be for a while only when you're ready" amalia said "ok, um sir did you know about my bank account?" he said "yes, the reason we didn't say was because we were told not to, we were told to set the limit as well" amalia said "ok, um who was it?" Mr hall said "I don't know amalia, if I did I would tell you, now I'll let you go" amalia nodded

She switched her iPad off and said "so he knew but couldn't tell me, but why? maybe what defines me is England and my school" amalia started drawing after a few hours she left the school, no one was around she said "I'm glad no one was around" amalia left and walked home when she got home she finished her drawing off and said "what defines me? Is I'm different from others in this school, it's the fact I'm here on a scholarship and from England"

Amalia added some photos from her school to the picture and said "done, ill hand that in tomorrow" the next day she took her art folder with her to class and set it next to her desk with her bag, at lunch amalia took her picture to the art room the teacher said "miss light can I help you?" amalia said "I-I've come to hand my picture in" she said "you've finished it already? You've got another 2 weeks before it has to be in" amalia said "I know miss, but I've finished it"

She took the folder and looked and said "my, how long did this take you? I only gave the assignment Thursday" amalia said "a day" she was in shock and said "a day! That can't be right? it looks like it took a few days to a few weeks" amalia said "no miss, just a day is it alright?" she said "yes it's alright" amalia said "ok miss I'll go" amalia left and returned to class and got her lunch out

She heard "that's her lunch? Wow she must be poor" "yeah it's wired, a sandwich drink and a chocolate bar" amalia looked down and quietly ate her lunch, after classes where finished she found a music room and said "no one's about, I'll play the longer I stay the less people there are" amalia sat at the piano and began to play

She didn't realise that there was an audience amalia sighed and said "that's better" she then heard clapping, she turned and saw some boys they clapped amalia stood up and grabbed her bag and hugged it, there where 6 boys there two she recognised from class hikaru said "hey" the boy with glasses said "do you know her hikaru karou?" karou said "sure, she's in our class" the boy with glasses said "oh, you must be the new scholarship student?" amalia nodded he said "your quite famous already around the school miss light"

Amalia thought 'I'm what!? probably because I'm here on a scholarship' karou said "no point in speaking to her, she doesn't talk much" hikaru said "yeah she doesn't speak to anyone, the only person is haruhi and that's what a handful of times kyoya" kyoya said "I see, so she's shy, but is here like haruhi, but I can't find much on her" amalia thought 'what the hell stalker much! I don't have anything important, I'm just a girl who's alone'

Kyoya said "its ok, we don't want to hurt you" amalia just tightened her hug on her bag karou said "do you think she can speak, I mean she doesn't speak to anyone besides haruhi" hikaru said "yeah I wonder, why just haruhi?" kyoya said "why not just speak to her, I'm sure she would speak to you if you did" soon amalia saw a small blond boy come over she thought 'is he even 16 or older? he looks like an 8 year old' he said "hi" amalia nodded hikaru said "wow hunny senpai's direct" hunny said "do you like cake?" amalia nodded and thought 'he's just like a kid'

Soon another blond boy came over amalia looked at him, he was slightly older than her he said "hello there princess, are you alone?" amalia nodded he said "I see, what's your name?" amalia looked down and said "a-amalia" he smiled and said "that's a lovely name, why don't you speak much?" amalia said "I-I'm not good....a-around n-new people.....um i-it takes all m-my courage and strength, n-not to run and hide I-I hate attention" he said "I see, it must be hard in a new school in a different country, my names tamaki"

Amalia nodded hikaru said "what's with her? shell speak to the boss but no one else?" tamaki said "you two back off, she's scared afraid and anxious being in a new school across the other side of the world, haruhi probably took the time to get to know her and take it slow at amalia's pace, seeing as she isn't good around strangers"

Tamaki looked at amalia and said "its ok they don't mean it, are you alright?" amalia nodded she thought 'wow these are the first people who are nice to me, unlike everyone else so haruhi knows them as well' kyoya said "it seems she still has a guard up around people" tamaki said "yes, amalia if you want you can come with us to our club?" amalia looked at them hunny said "yeah we play games, have fun and eat cake and drink tea" amalia shook her head

Hikaru said "why not?" amalia covered her wrists even more kyoya noticed and said "what's wrong with your wrists?" amalia tightly shut her eyes tamaki said "kyoya, it seems she doesn't want to talk about that" amalia said "I-I've got to go" amalia bolted from the room as fast as she could, kyoya said "she's just as the rumours say, quiet and afraid of her own shadow" tamaki said "I don't think that's it?" karou said "why not boss?" tamaki said "the way she spoke, she was anxious and said it took all her strength and courage to speak to me, or even us"

Hikaru said "what did you find on her?" kyoya said "not much, besides her name age and previous school" tamaki said "what does it say?" kyoya said "amalia ann light, age 15 lived in England since she was born, went to Avalon high from the age of 6" hikaru said "what she's graduated high school at 6?" kyoya said "no, the school is a boarding school, it goes from nursery to high school it acts as a boarding school, since it is quite a distance and it seems she's graduated high school"

The others all said "what graduated!?" kyoya said "yes, the English school system is vastly different from here, when the new school term starts there she would be in college" hikaru said "any info on why she's scared?" kyoya said "no, anything from before she attended Avalon heights is restricted, even I can't access it" tamaki said "I wonder why? But for now let's leave her.....but keep an eye on her" kyoya said "I agree with tamaki, her wrist was bandaged" hikaru said "really I didn't see?"

Amalia ran home and locked the door, she said "why did he ask why? And why does he want to find out information on me? I'm probably known in the school for being a freak, a quiet freak who gets bullied"
