The days were going superbly amazing. Anika was getting Ishana's extra care and Shivay's extra love. The frequency of his phone call in deed decreased but gradually he is sounding more responsible from the excited one. Just a week has passed in between but still the feeling of upcoming motherhood elated Anika just like the first time when she got the news. Now when Shivay calls first he asks whether Anika is feeling good, if she needs him right away? If so he asks her to close her eyes. Conversation with her dear husband about the baby is the most interesting one. As Anika's smile started growing more wide, her phone rang. Shivay it was.

"Yes I am fine and the baby is also doing well probably. I am eating healthy food apart from my tasty evening snack. Our secret and plan of sharing the news with family only when you arrive is also safe. Ishana's teasing has increased but I am finely coping up with it. And how are you?" this was how Anika answered last time also in one breath.

Anika did notice that Shivay's questions linger around these ones so she has decided to answer those first without even asking. Shivay's smile reached his ear and he blew a kiss in the air.

"Stop being over romantic, it pains" Anika blushed falling over her bed and rolling like a little baby.

"I am missing the chance of being there, or else you can't even imagine that how much romantic I can be" the red hue deepened and the sense of warmth crawled up her cheeks.

"I know how much you can" Anika whispered under her breath reminiscing all the moments she spent with Shivay on her last trip.

She can't forget that day when it rained heavily and they spent almost of the entire day in bed. He was not ready to leave her, and she was reluctant as well. That day probably has resulted into this baby. Thinking so, the blush deepened if it is possible.

"Ohh Anika don't make me remember our love sessions" knowing Anika's chain of thought Shivay had the topic ready to pull Anika's leg.

"Can you just forget that day?" she so wished his answer to be no but he is Unpredictable Singh Oberoi.

"Ohh wife I forgot that day, I just want another more romantic than that one" his voice modulation and that se*y husk.

"Shut up Shiv" she chuckled although hoping his dream to come true secretly.

But for that they have promised each other to wait until the delivery. Shivay was concerned about the little being inside Anika's womb so decided to not make love until the delivery is done. Thus, he missed touching her so more.

"So when are you landing mister?" the change in topic was needed.

"By the end of next week" he is arriving, at last he is arriving and she can't be more happier.

That reminds him of asking her to not come to airport but she was adamant to go and recieve him in the airport. Thus, lastly failing he blew another kiss in air and hung the call not before Anika returned the kiss.

Following day Anika spent lazily as Shivay had his nice sleep. Sudden and heavy downpour knocked Anika's door making her miss Shivay more. She checked the time reminding herself that it is late midnight at Shivay's place so letting go of her thought she went to Rudra's room. Rudra was not present so she lingered over the corridor and reached to Rudra's gym. Surprisingly Soumya was present there.

"When did Soumya come?" she walked in.

"Just an hour before di" Soumya replied, who was happily running over the treadmill.

"This Rudra is such a gym freak. He even introduced you to it" Anika complained looking at Rudra.

She always complained about the same because of Rudra's urge over her to join the gym. And she was proud of herself to get through it everytime. Before her pregnancy even Shivay requested her to join gym along with Rudra, but now no one has the power to request her not even Shivay and she was happy on this part too.

"Di I myself joined it, actually I got chubbier more and I am having problems with this sudden weight gain so" Soumya shifted to another machine that Anika doesn't even know the name.

"You both enjoy your romantic session in gym, and I must go" saying so Anika walked out covering the mischief with wink.

"This Anika di is so-so-" Soumya was searching for the correct word to complete the sentence.

"So cute" and Rudra intervened.

Both chuckled and concentrated back on their own routine. Soumya noticed that how Rudra is aligned towards all his equipments and how much proud he is that he has those.

"You know I can't dream my life without them" she heard him saying.

His well toned chest attracted her attention. How much attractive he looks when shirtless, hurriedly distracting herself from him she tried concentrating back on her workout. In the meantime Anika returned.

"Rudra- umm how- how a pregnant woman stays fit during her pregnancy?" shocking Rudra and Soumya out of them Anika acted as if asking it just for information.

"Who is pregnant?" Rudra asked.

"My friend Champa, she was asking. She just called, you can check my phone's contact list and you know how much great gym instructor you are. So I promised her to ask you" without stopping for a moment Anika said it all in one breath.

"I believe you bhabhi, just ask your friend to eat healthy because I have never heard any pregnant woman doing workout" Rudra explained but Soumya's detective stare lingered over Anika's face.

"Are you hiding something?" Soumya's right brow was up while the left one directed down pressing her eye.

"No- why will I- I hide anything. Okkay bye" Anika ran out sensing the incoming danger trying to look all cool.

"It is so difficult to hide this news" Anika muttered under her breath and walked towards Pinky's room.

Sundays are so boring, and it turns more boring when her own sister takes up work on Sundays too. Even Omkara was busy with few meetings that day. Elders were out for a pooja leaving Pinky at the house because she was having stomach ache since morning. Before knocking Pinky's door Anika thought if Pinky was sleeping but then discarding the same she knocked.

"How many times I have asked you to not knock and straightway come inside if the door is open" came Pinky's reply from the other side.

"It's me Mom" Anika entered.

"Whoever it is, not required to knock until the door is not locked from inside" Pinky loved when people visited her room to have talk so she loved them barging in just like that.

This was discarded by Shakthi many times but wife is the queen of house and no one has any say over the queen, not even the king.

After chit chatting with Pinky, Anika returned back to her room. Soon Shivay will again call her, the first morning call of Shivay and she would never miss it. And then, think of the devil, devil calls.

"Good morning mister" she heard him yawning.

"Good evening wife" he heard her breath, means she is smiling.

These greetings always reminded the time difference between them. Easing out they repeated the talk that they had almost eight hours before. Shivay informed that he is missing everyone more because it's a Sunday. Anika replied that Omkara might call him regarding some business deals and documents. He personally loved it when she advised him about their business.

"Why don't you join our business after you come here?" he asked hoping her to say yes.

But what she answered, had his mouth sealed.

"I won't join any job for the moment" Shivay was dumb listening to her.

"I have decided to grow this baby till he or she becomes quite responsible and then I will think about going back to working" she completed.

"Anika don't do this to yourself" he never wanted her to sacrifice.

"I would love it Shivay, please support me" her voice was straight though he knew that she was breaking inside.

Mouthing an yes and some soothing words he kept down the call. Anika's said words lingered inside his brain making him forget his plannings for the rest of the day. How can she plan to quit going to office? She can't do that. He felt guilty for all these. If he was more protective and more concerned while having s*x then probably she wouldn't have become pregnant so soon. He regretted every moment he made her turned on to satisfy his needs. He regretted it all and wanted to reverse back the time. For once he even thought rather say prayed that the baby wasn't there between them. He hated it, he hated it so very much.

Two days passed by. After that day, that call he tried showing less interest in knowing about Anika's future plannings about the baby. He indeed agreed to all her words and plans but the thought of not having the baby made a constant place inside his brain surprisingly. He realised that he doesn't want the baby to come between them, but on the other side his happiness about having the baby couldn't stop him from dreaming as well. He was stuck so badly that he shouted over Anika when she told him that she helped Pinky with cooking for that entire day.

"Haven't I told you to not go near fire? Why can't you be more responsible Anika when you are going to have a baby?" the last words hurt her more although she knew those came out from Shivay's mouth because he cares for her so much.

"I would take care" saying so she hung the call not wanting to let him listen her sob.

He too didn't call back. He regretted his words and had no face to call her back. Thus, he didn't call back. He questioned himself again, that is the baby reason for his sudden temper at work or even over his wife? The question had no answer so he decided to let it go. Checking the time, his eyes fell over the date on his mobile screen. Five more days for him to board the flight and go back to his dear wife. He wanted her near to clear out his fears and confusions.

Next day Anika woke up really late and was hurrying all her works to reach office on time. She hurriedly went inside the bathroom and locked the door. She hanged the clothes, to wear after her shower, and stepped hurriedly towards to reach under the water flow. As she extended her hand to grab the knob of the running shower without noticing the slippery floor beneath, her feet slipped. Trying to hold onto something resulted into a major mistake leading into her fall on her front. Her uterus hit the floor first resulting into immediate blood flow. She noticed how the floor turned red within minutes and the blood flow refused to stop. Managing to get up somehow she wrapped herself in a towel and quick called Ishana letting Ishana know everything in short sentences. After that she went inside the bathroom again and washed the blood from the floor making it look clean just like before. She wore a comfortable Kurti and Palazzo and drove to her contacted gynecologist immediately. After the checkup what the doctor said had her in tears, uncontrollable sob and remorse.

"You have lost your baby" they were the doctor's words as the doctor lowered her head and prescribed few medicines.

She let Anika know that the bleeding is just like any other bleeding during her flow every month. The blood wall has collapsed because of her fall and the baby has flowed out immediately as the bleeding started. Tears couldn't stop from Anika's eyes. Ishana squeezed Anika's hand lightly and directed towards the way out. She unknowingly made Anika sit over the same chair where Anika sat a week before dreaming about the best future for her baby. The dam of tears broke the wall causing tsunami. Just then Anika's phone rang, it was Shivay.

NOTE- Hello everyone, I know today I have no say and I am not willing to ask about all your feelings about the chapter. I know through what you all might be going through, because what I went through as I wrote this chapter is beyond explanation. It has been painful for me to write it, and now why this part was needed. In Shivay and Anika's life, they have stayed together really less. Yes they do know each other but not as much to grow a baby together. In this chapter you all read that how Anika has decided to quit her working career to grow the baby and Shivay's reaction towards it as well. As they got to know the news about pregnancy, like everyone they felt magical and thought that taking the responsibility would be easier but as they are getting used to they are realising the difficulties of this phase as well. More than that they have not shared the matter with any elder who could give them directions and Anika had no idea about how to take care of herself. Thus, she undergoes this miscarriage. But I assure you all, this happiness in their life would return soon. Until then please support me. Being at the age (20) I am in, it has been really difficult for me to imagine it, thus all my wishes and luck to those pregnant ladies out there. Love to you all and stay safe.
