It's was finally six weeks after the launch. Jungkook has always stopped by the screen to watch Jimin sleep or even eat time to time. It was such a heartbreaking scenery for him and it shattered his heart at times. However, this gave him every reason to look up to his arrival.

        Along the fourth weeks after the launch, all the astronomers gathered to watch one of the astronauts rescue Jimin and together, they abandoned the B248 since it was nothing but a vessel now that served as a house for Jimin after a year. Once everyone watched Jimin leave the B248 after an earth year, everyone cheered once again and Jungkook almost teared up to himself. A reason why he felt so connected to the astronaut was because the young astronomer put himself in Dr. Park's shoes and related to how painful it must've been to stay strong for such a long time.

          Everyday for the following two weeks after the rescue was complete, Jimin was seated and was silent the whole ride back. Jungkook would hear Mr. Park trying to communicate with his son, but he was silent and whispers only came out of his mouth. His condition was horrible. He was pale, weak and silent. Just the space food alone didn't give the abundant of nutrients he needed every single day. This was where Jungkook would be given Jimin after a week of his arrival so he could learn to speak louder like before, learn to walk and maintain a normal appetite instead of eating small portions of space food when he spent hours in space until the rescue was made. The only thing that was lost in space now was the Rocket B248-C12.

          It was the day Jimin would return and Jungkook sprung up from the bed to rub his eyes and fix his hair. He wore his black pajama bottoms to sleep that hugged his body loosely while tented over his torso was a white T-shirt. Just last night, his girlfriend stayed over and together, they watched movies, played video games and talked for hours on end! This was a perfect date to her and even if they couldn't stargaze, Jungkook took anything he could get. However, the two didn't sleep in the same room. Lee-Young slept in Jungkook's room and Jungkook of course, slept in the room he had set for Jimin. Sleeping on Jimin's bed and having a full rest on his own. Even after two years of dating, Lee-Young insisted to keep distance while sleeping in the same house because she saved herself until marriage and Jungkook accepted that.

         Jungkook stretched early in the morning; it was 6:50 AM to be exact, and he knew today was the day Jimin was coming back. He counted the days and weeks after he looked up at the screen and watched Jimin smile happily once he was rescued. But his voice was cut down into a silent whisper. Jungkook quickly made the bed and gazed down at it to smile and think that a week from now, Jimin would be allowed to live with him and after he brings the man's health up, he'll get to ask him questions about his experience in space. Just thinking about it, made Jungkook grow excited to see Jimin now.

          Just as the boy was close to leaving the room, Lee-Young stepped into the room wearing a loose pink pajama bottoms and one of Jungkook's white T-shirts. Her eyes were still closed and her hair was pulled up into a ponytail as she then opened her puffy eyes to look at Jungkook. “Oh you're awake.” The woman said followed by a yawn. “I'll get going… I have so much work at the office today. But I'm going to sleep at my place so you can get to work.” Lee-Young insisted as Jungkook was fixing the bed up happily. “You seem happy…”

          “I am! Today is a big day. Dr. Park Jimin will be coming home today and next week, he'll be here in my house. Until then, I'll be able to see him at the facility.” Jungkook said and this made the girl blink her eyes and make a smile.

          “You're very excited to meet this astronaut. Hey, when he can, tell him if he could write me an autograph.” The girl stated and walked up to Jungkook to give him a kiss on the cheek. “I'll be on my way after I change out of this.” Lee-Young claimed and noticed how it seemed as if her own boyfriend wasn't listening. His mind was up in the stars and he just didn't listen to a word his girl was saying. As much as he loved her and her true colors, he slowly became color blind to it all…

          “Alright. Love you.” Jungkook answered and focused on getting rid of the wrinkles on the bed as Lee-Young gazed at her boyfriend and let out a giggle before walking off to go change out of her pajamas and into her casual wear. Just so she could go to her own apartment and fall fast asleep since Jungkook won't be around to stay at his own house longer.

          Once Lee-Young left, Jungkook didn't really notice it and began to get ready. The boy took a long shower and made sure he looked his best to meet such a famous astronaut now. After all this time, news outlets and magazines had Dr. Park Jimin's name all over it and that made him famous overnight. All in which, Taehyung grew jealous of no matter what was said about him. The man was absolutely jealous of his old best friend that betrayed him exactly one year ago.

       Jungkook threw on a dark red dress shirt with a black tie hanging over his collar. The red dress shirt was tucked into his black slacks and all matched with his black classic shoes. The charming boy then walked up to the mirror and then rolled his hair back, placing on two black earrings that brought out his round and dark brown eyes. He smiled at his reflection and thought that it was rare for him to dress up like this for work, but in the back of his mind, he did it for Jimin. The astronaut would see him in the facility and get to know him better as his caretaker. So, Jungkook made it his priority to look good and set a good first impression.

           Jungkook left the house wearing a cologne that wasn't too strong so Jimin wouldn't feel nauseated by it. He did this all to impress the older man, but what he didn't realize was, that he alone was paving a way for others to pick out this off behavior and take it the wrong way… The young boy then ran out the house and reached a bus stop to travel quicker to the facility. By now, he was hoping to reach there early in case the B400 was to land sooner. Jungkook wanted to be there to see the rocket land and then be able to greet Jimin and the other astronauts once they complete their mission.

         After a good while, Jungkook arrived to the open field where his eyes met with the two empty launchpads. By there, his gaze pointed skyward and he could see a speck in the sky. “FUCK THEY'RE COMING!” Jungkook hissed and ran to the facility. He believed the other astronomers wouldn't be there preparing for their arrival, but apparently, no one told him they received an alarm signifying that their arrival was thirty minutes away now and all astronomers gathered early. No one told the young boy about anything and this came as a surprise to Jeon Jungkook. He bolted into the building and found Taehyung hiding in his station as Namjoon was on the phone with his wife and kept his attractive smile intact.

         “Taehyung!” Jungkook called out as the older man bounced his head up to respond to the young boy. “WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?! THEY'RE COMING!” Jungkook shouted over the buzzing of other astronomers growing excited about the rescue mission.

          Taehyung then turned to face Jungkook as he still sat on his rolling chair and leaned back to gaze at Jungkook. “I thought Namjoon was going to tell you! Anyways, it's not nice of you to yell at your husband like this… you've been cheating on me for far too long! I want a divorce.”

         “What?- oh alright then. It'll be my pleasure-”

          “No! Not after all we've been through!” Taehyung faked a cry and got down on his knees to hug Jungkook by the legs. “Love me you beautiful FOOL!”

          “NAMJOON HELP! I THINK I BROKE TAEHYUNG!” Jungkook laughed into a shout as Namjoon quickly glanced over at the two and the older man kissed through the phone to his wife and rushed over to Jungkook and Taehyung. Next, Taehyung kept a perverted smile across his face once Jungkook called Namjoon over and Taehyung started to laugh maniacally.

          “Oh you can break me ANYTIME, MASTER JEON!” Taehyung shouted and with that, Namjoon pulled Taehyung away and held him by the collar of his dress shirt. “A-AH!”

           “Ah, I leave you two to call my wife for more than a second and madness goes down between the two of you!” Namjoon laughed and pulled Taehyung up to see the man start grinding his hips and pointing at Jungkook. “How much cups of coffee did you have?”

            “Jungkook wasn't here so I drank his while I was hiding!” Taehyung laughed and pointed his two fingers to his eyes and then pointed them outward to Jungkook and winked.

            “I'm scared…” Jungkook replied and this made Namjoon back hug Taehyung to turn him around and keep him walking.

            “Just walk it out, Taehyung.” Namjoon insisted as Taehyung nodded his head and started to speed walk around the lab, leaving Namjoon with Jungkook. “I didn't tell you on purpose.”

             “W-What? Why? You know how much this means to me!” Jungkook argued as Namjoon laughed and patted his shoulder. “I wouldn't be able to see Jimin-”

             “I did it because you sound a little too obsessed over Jimin. Tone it down a bit unless you want those rumors to stir up. People are getting the wrong picture.” Namjoon pointed out and with that, Jungkook tilted his head and dropped his hands onto his hips.

            “How am I giving them the wrong picture?”

            “The way you dressed up today; you never dressed up like that before. How you would always watch over Jimin through the B248 screen every single day at work and you'd smile and talk to yourself like you're in love.” Namjoon instigated and this made Jungkook clear his throat and look down. “Don't let it get to your head, alright? You don't want others to think wrong and let the rumors get to Lee-Young.”

           “I understand..” Jungkook replied. Feeling a little upset that he couldn't show how much he looked up to Dr. Park for staying in space for an earth year. As Jungkook began to feel like it was a mistake to come dressed like he was on a date, the alarm began to sound. Turns out, thirty minutes was too long and in just a couple minutes away, Rocket B400-C3 was going to land. Jungkook quickly threw on his lab coat and dashed to where the commander was heading to monitor the landing. By there, Jungkook looked up at the monitors in the wide control room to see Jimin having his eyes closed and opening them slowly. Not feeling comfortable with the crowded space of astronauts around him.

          Within a good minute, they broke through the atmosphere and was coming down to land in seconds. Jungkook heart was pounding and he grew nervous to the point where he constantly glanced at the mirror to fix his hair and make a smile to greet Jimin with. Everyone around him was racing to the windows to watch the landing until.. The loud rocket came closer and closer. Loud sounds of the B400’s ignition echoed along the walls of the facility as if a meteor was falling across the sky above them.

         “Landing, Five… Four… Three… Two… One…” Announced the woman conducting the landing as Jungkook's eyes lit up as soon as the woman announced that they have successfully landed. With that, Mr. Park, the Commander, Jungkook and other astronomers scattered around to reach the back field to greet the astronauts. Of course, the astronauts that went off to save Jimin had little strength to walk, but Jimin didn't have any strength at all.

         As all the astronomers, astronauts and even rocket technicians gathered outside the unit, they watched the rocket doorway crack open and out stepped two astronauts with their helmets off and the other two carried Jimin and walked with him out of the B400. Jungkook pushed through the crowd and finally, his eyes locked with the astronaut that was stuck in space for a whole earth year. With that, Jimin's helmet was taken off and the first person he laid eyes on wasn't his father; it was Jeon Jungkook alone and that caused him to smile at the young astronomer as everything grew still for Jungkook at that solid second.

        All Jungkook could do at that moment was smile in return and say to himself, “Welcome to earth… Dr. Park Jimin.” Knowing well that Jimin was able to read his lips from there.
