Part 1

Now, our story begins billions and billions and billions and BILLIONS of years ago before there was anything; before there was an Omniverse. Before everything and anything existed... there were The Beyonders. The Beyonders are the supreme omnipotence of the entire Omniverse and their words are absolute. However, there is a caveat; a major rule, if you will. Each Beyonder has control over 1 major force of the Omniverse, but they each only get cosmic-level control over that force. If they want to do something major, they have to consult with their peers and together, they hold a vote, and if it gets 4 or more votes, it comes to pass. If it doesn't, it doesn't come into existence.

The list of Beyonders go as follows:

~ Evil

~ Good

~ Light

~ Darkness

~ Life

~ Death

~ Peace

~ Chaos

~ Emotion

~ Science

~ Magic

These entities, together, created the building blocks for the Omniverse, and then made the next race of beings: The Supreme Beings, or as they are most commonly known as, The Celestials.

Before I get into this, let me preface something: The Beyonders can influence the Omniverse, but they individually have no actual powers. They can't throw fireballs or anything like that, the only real powers they have are Omnipresence, Omnipotence, Possession, and Absolute Authority.

The Supreme Beings are basically pieces of the Beyonders put into various entities in order to be true avatars for each of them.

The Supremes are as follows and I will list them from oldest to youngest:

~ Shi - Time & Balance

~ Clyde - Science & Logic

~ Alastair - Death & The Afterlife

~ Vhythrarc - Darkness, Negativity, & Evil

~ Draco - Magic

~ Azathoth - Space & Darkness

~ Dusk - Light & Creation

The Supreme Beings do have powers, unlike Beyonders. Lots and lots and lots of powers. They are by far the most powerful entities in the Omniverse, in exception for The Beyonders.

They are the ones who usually receive the credit for creating everything, as the Beyonders themselves like to stay behind the curtains and only deal with certain entities.

If the Beyonders feel like you are significant enough to know of their existence, they will show themselves to you.

Vhythrarc created a massive realm known as "The Void" all for himself and it is known as the largest realm in the Omniverse because of how diverse and large it is. He also created our version of "Hell".

Dusk created what is basically our version of Heaven, but it goes by a different name so we don't offend anyone. He also created earth and humans, but he created other powerful entities that made all other forms of life.

Shi made her own realm away from everybody because, as much as she loves her brothers, she prefers to stay with her watches and clocks. The watches and clocks basically tell... well, everything. How long any entity has been alive, how long they have left, and there is even a clock states the same stats for the Omniverse itself.

Draco put himself on earth, where he still currently resides, taking on different forms throughout the years.

Azathoth... well, we'll get to him very soon.

Alright, so in the Void, it was originally as the name suggests: A completely empty hole in the Omniverse that beings would throw cosmic junk into. However, that cosmic junk began to liquify. It began to grow. It began to spew forth horrific, monstrous beings. The first of which are named Aikdar & Azatoth(different from Azathoth, you'll see why he was named that soon); the two most powerful eldritch entities to ever step forth from the void.

They are known as The Supreme Void Lords or The Supreme Outer Gods.

The Outer Gods are the overarching antagonistic race of the Cthulhu Mythos. They are the most powerful entities in the works of H.P. Lovecraft and are to the Great Old Ones what the latter are to humanity. Needless to say this makes the Outer Gods so utterly alien and vast that no human could even dream of beginning to understand them: though many have tried (at the cost of their sanity). There are 40 known Outer Gods described or mentioned in Lovecraft's corpus.

The Outer Gods serve a cosmic function that the Great Old Ones(Eldritch Gods) do not, and although they may be worshiped as gods by madmen and heretics, they care little for such things and are dedicated to their tasks without question. Although they rule over the universe, they do so in a manner humans would consider chaotic at best, and are totally uncaring of the plight of others.

Those who seek aid from the Outer Gods are considered blessed if the entities ignore them. If, by slim chance, the Outer Gods do decide to aid a foolish mortal, they are doomed to an eternity of unimaginable torture and sanity-shattering events, not so much due to any malice on the Outer Gods' part, but because humans simply are not capable of grasping the nature or motivations of these horrific entities.

Nyarlathotep, also known by many other names, most notably the Crawling Chaos, is the main antagonist of the Cthulhu Mythos, the work of the late famous cosmic horror writer and author H. P. Lovecraft.

He first appeared as the titular main antagonist of both the 1920 short story of the same name and the 1936 short story The Haunter of the Dark, and he continued to serve as the main antagonist of the 1943 fantasy novella The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath. He has appeared in numerous other stories written by H.P. Lovecraft (more than any other deity) and is unquestionably the cruelest and vilest entity in the entire mythos.

He is an evil Outer God who is seen as a shapeshifting agent of madness, chaos and ruin who serves the other Outer Gods, specifically his father, Azatoth, the "Blind Idiot God", to whom he is subservient, fulfilling his wishes without question as his messenger and emissary, though he sometimes enjoys manipulating his master.

He often visits Earth and enjoys bringing madness and suffering to inferior beings (humans are among them). He spends his time manipulating and deceiving humans, or driving them insane, for his own sadistic pleasure. It is said that he will be the god who brings destruction to Earth.

And now onto one of the most depressing stories in the entire timeline: Azathoth.

Now, as you can imagine, the Void was growing and gaining power and notoriety like crazy! I mean, this realm was massive and was spitting forth some of the most powerful cosmic beings this Omniverse had ever seen! Three Beyonders were majorly benefitting from all this: Evil, Darkness, & Chaos. They were almost in full control of damn near the entire Omniverse at this point.

That is.. Until the other Beyonders hatched a plan and created their secret weapon:

Azathoth; the supreme being of space and darkness was created by the Beyonders Space, Good, and Light in order to balance out Evil's dastardly reign over everything. Azathoth got to work almost immediately, creating what are known as "The Elder Gods"; the polar opposites to the Eldritch. Not much is known about them, but what is known is that there was a large war between The Elder Gods and the Eldritch, the Elder Gods won, and they imprisoned each eldritch being in various places scattered throughout the Omniverse.

The other Beyonders then ordered Azathoth to become the new king of the Void, which he fulfilled subserviently. While on the throne, he married an Outer Goddess who was spared a fate of imprisonment: Kignna; The Outer Goddess of Destruction & Fertility. She was absolutely in love with Azathoth! Loved him to bits and more! However... Azathoth did not feel the same and would treat her terribly, absolutely despising this marriage that he was forced into by his brother, Dusk. Azathoth was absolutely miserable in his new position as the void king, just wanting to go back to his castle up in space.

One night at a party, Azathoth was sulking around, getting himself a drink, when he spotted an absolutely beautiful and amazing looking woman; a woman named Ilith. Ilith was an Engineer(a species that I will come back to and explain later), and was actually the queen of Engineers alongside her brother Prometheus, who was the king.

Well, Azathoth and Lilith got to talking and chatting and both seemed to fall in love instantly; love at first sight, if you will.

Kignna saw this whole thing unfold and, out of jealousy, stormed out of the party to get some fresh air. That is when she was grabbed by Aikdar, the Supreme Void Lord, dragged into the bathroom, where he whispers to her all the things she wants to hear. That she is worth it, that she deserves better, that she is beautiful and that if she lets him impregnate her and allows the baby to be born, she'd become his queen; his love and would get all the power she craved. She didn't immediately agree to this, obviously, but after Aikdar began beating her and threatened her life, she agreed and the two of them had some very sloppy unprotected sex in that bathroom.

Time skip to some months later, Kignna is forced to watch Azathoth fall in love with this Engineer queen and forced to watch him treat her as good as she wanted to be treated; loved how she craved to be loved by him.

Then, one night, Kignna completely snapped and burst into his room where they were cuddling after having sex and tried to light the bed ablaze. It didn't work out too well, Azathoth saving Ilith almost immediately, pulled her to safety, and then went outside to deal with his ex lover.

He basically beat the absolute shit out of her, shoved her down the stairs, and caused the baby inside of her to die. Yes, Azathoth had caused a miscarriage and had officially taken everything away from her. Any power she was promised by Aikdar was now null and void.

She had nothing...

Aikdar comes by some days later to see how his baby is doing and sees the state Kignna is in. He is pissed and almost beats her just like Azathoth did... But, that is when he had a dastardly, evil plan flash through his head courtesy of the Beyonder Evil. So, he takes Kignna in his arms, showing feigned pity on her, and tells her it was going to be okay; that she'd be okay. He then gives her another a task: "I want you to stay here with this man that does not love you... Gather as much information on him as you can.... and report back to me on everything you can find. If you do this, I swear to you, I will take back this void from his hands and give you the vengeance you have always wanted. However, if you refuse... Not even the supremes can save you from the wrath that will be brought down upon you." Kignna is horrified and refuses without even thinking. Shockingly, after all this, she still loves Azathoth, even after watching him fall in love with another woman, she loved him. And so Aikdar goes through with his original plan and beats her to an absolute pulp, breaking nearly every bone in her body, uses a whip made of thorns on her back, and even breaks a bottle of acid on the top of her head. He then decides that this was not enough and he puts an eternal curse on her that would prevent her from ever finding true peace, since she was "obviously too stupid to know peace when it came knocking down her door".

Many years pass her by since that day. Kignna's treatment is still bad, but is getting better. She now had the respect that a maid had, which she was fine with for the moment, since it still meant he wanted her around. Ilith gives birth to Azathoth's baby(that they name Shabhat) in the safety of the void, but soon after, she is forced to disappear. You see, Engineers are forbidden to have babies with anyone outside of their own species, a rule set in place by Dusk and the Beyonders in order to prevent anomalies from coming into existence. Well... They say she disappeared, but what had actually happened is, after a visit from Michael the Archangel who tried to kill Ilith and the baby, Azathoth gave her a new life on earth and altered her aura so she would never be detected as an Engineer again.

Azathoth was then in charge of Shabha, their daughter, and he absolutely adored her! She was his princess and he'd never let her go. He'd be doting on her every hour of the night, every hour of the day, teaching her, spending every waking moment with her, and taught her right from wrong. Kignna had been so hopeful after Ilith left; so hopeful that she'd at least be a rebound and be loved in some capacity! However, her day never came, as he was now obsessed with Shabha... Not her.

Kignna was now bitter... So, so, SO bitter against Azathoth! Why was she never good enough?! She had been through so much for him and he hadn't even given her a single: "Thank you"! She was nothing but his maid! So, she storms out into the void, and calls out for Aikdar, who eagerly shows up with a smile on his face. She tells him that after 4 years of mental and emotional torture, she was ready to break; she'd give him every damn detail about Azathoth, the Void, and everything if it meant she'd finally be recognized.

And so it began. Every week, Kignna and Aikdar would meet up, she would feed him all the information she had on Azathoth, and then they'd go their separate ways.

And then, it happened. About 2 or 3 years later, Eldritch Abominations stormed the gates of the Void with their weapons primed and, because of the info given by Kignna, easily outpowered all the Elder Gods and captured some of them, while killing others. It was an absolute massacre and Azathoth stood no chance against them now that they had so much information on everything. After the battle was won, the Outer Gods walked into the Void, went into Azathoth's throne room, and beat the absolute, ever-loving shit out of the already defeated Supreme Being, showing no mercy whatsoever.

A few weeks later, a whole court of newly awakened eldritch beings and Outer Gods were assembled to decide Azathoth's fate. There was so much taunting, laughing, throwing things at him, and even beating him some more in the court room.

Shabha, his precious 5 year old daughter, watched in horror and terror as this all took place. The whole time, she was begging them to stop, to not hurt their papa anymore, but it just seemed to egg them on. It was then unanimously decided that Azathoth would be frozen in Void Steel for all eternity and tossed into deep space, where he would remain forever. Just to ensure he would stay there, they sent a few eldritch demons out with him that played maddening tunes on their magic flutes that would keep all intruders away, and keep Azathoth asleep.

Remember how I said that Azatoth was a purposeful name? Well, it was. Using lies and deception, they made everyone start believing that Azathoth was in fact the evil one; their leader that was asleep for eternity and that awakening him would cause the apocalypse. Well, the power of rumors was strong and the new lore among most beings was that:

Azathoth, also known as the Blind Idiot God, the Daemon Sultan, and the Nuclear Chaos, is the overarching leader of all eldritch kind. He is a cosmic and boundless deity of colossal proportion and the great and all-powerful ruler of the Outer Gods. He is omnipotent beyond the power of the Great Old Ones, such as Cthulhu, and even his fellow Outer Gods, including Yog-Sothoth and Yibb-Tstll, and all other being— and is the sole most powerful being in the entire mythos.

Azathoth is seen as the all-powerful creator of all of existence. All of reality is merely a part of Azathoth's dream, unknowingly created by itself. When, not if, Azathoth awakens, all things will end, once and for all, and all will once again be Azathoth.

Complete and utter lies, as you know. But, these rumors became the truth after a while and Azathoth's nice, near-benevolent reputation soon faded to nothing.
