Warning: Make sure you have tissues by your side for the upcoming parts. It's going to be emotional.

Nurse 1: “The chances of surviving are less, only 10%.”

Nurse 2: “Doctor do you think you can do it?”

Me: “I don't know..Maybe we can.”

Nurse 1: “We should not lose hope.”

Nurse 2: “And if he doesn't make it, then we can't do anything.”

Me: “Let's try our best. I'm sure he can make it and he will. He isn't a person to give up so easily.”

Nurse 2: “What do you mean doctor? Do you personally know him?”

Me: “Enough of chit-chat. Let's start and focus on the surgery.”

Nurse 1: “Yes doctor.”

And it began. The surgery began.
2 hours passed...

Nurse 3: “He is making it. He will survive this.”

And...DONE! The surgery was completed but was it successful?

His dad: “How is he doctor? Can we go meet him now?”
His mother: “When will he wake up?”

I walked away.

His Parents: “What happened to her? Why did she not respond?”

Nurse: “We are really sorry for your loss. *Sigh* Unfortunately he gave up in the middle of the surgery. We tried our best to save him.”

WE TRIED OUR BEST TO SAVE HIM.

But we couldn't. It broke me even more this time knowing that your life was in my hands and I wasn't able to save you.
I am sorry, I really am. I didn't deserve to be a doctor anymore so I filed resignation letter but before I was about to submit it, I saw you in the hallway.
Smiling that adorable smile of yours that could melt anyone's heart but it made me cry even harder when realisation hit me like a truck that you are no more.
It was just my imagination. I collapsed on the ground crying my heart out, not caring about my surroundings. Doctors tried consoling me saying 'it's okay' , 'you tried your best' , 'it's not your fault' but failed. At last I saw you there with a cold look on your face, you came towards me and handed me a letter with a sad smile on your face.

“He's perhaps in a better place now. He wanted me to give you this.”

With that a tear escaped his eye and he left saying,

“You might assume me as Taehyung but no, I'm his twin brother. He was the better twin and the best brother.”
