After a few hours.. surgery was completed.

Your Mom: “How is he Doctor? Can we go meet him.”

Your Dad: “When will he wake up?”

And I walked away.

Your Mom: “W-Why did s-she walk away?”

Your Dad: “D-Does that mean..”

Your Mom: “N-No! It can't be!”

Nurse: “Excuse me Mr. And Mrs. Kim, why are you both crying? You should be happy.”

Your Parents: “What do you mean?! We just lost our-

Me: “You didn't lose anyone Uncle-Aunt.”

I hand them a box of sweets.

Me: “The surgery was successful. Tae is alright. You can go meet him after we do a few check ups.”

Your Mom: “Really!? Thank you so much Doctor. Wait- you- Oh My God! Y/N is that you?”

Your Dad: “You've grown up child.”

Your Mom: “You look more beautiful than ever.”

Your Dad: “Thank you so much for saving our son's life.”

Your Mom: “We are really proud of you. Thank you once again.”

Me: “No need Uncle - Aunt. It's my job to save my patients' lives. And if it wasn't Tae's will power to survive, we couldn't have done it. Excuse me now.”

Then I went into your room and saw you peacefully sleeping. After doing a few checkups on you, I was about to leave when...

You (Taehyung) : “Y/N”

I turned and saw you holding my hand. Then I sat beside you knowing that maybe you owe me an explanation.

Me: “So how have you been? Mr. Kim Taehyung.”

You: *sigh* “Not fine without you.”

Me: “What do you mean Mr. Kim Ta-

You: “It's Tae for you. And..
I know this isn't the right place to say this, and I thought of doing it in a better way but at this moment, this is a now or never situation.”

Me: “Wh-

You: “I LOVE YOU.”

“I always had but I was scared. Scared of maybe losing you and our friendship. I was going to confess to you too on my birthday, but I didn't. Because the day before, my parents told me that due to business we had to move to USA. And they told me that I will also study there only. It broke me, way too much. I knew that living across the ocean would affect us. And we, my parents and me, maybe would never be able to come back. So, I hid it from you. I wasn't sure that if I accepted your confession, our long distance relationship would survive.”

By then, tears were streaming down my face. My body looked calm compared to how tangled my mind was. I felt guilt for not listening to you before. For not understanding your situation.

You: “Then, I found out I had brain tumor. And the chances of surviving were low. I only had one week for surgery so without wasting any time I decided to come here, in your hospital after I found out that you achieved your dream goal and owned the title of best neurosurgeon here. I-I wasn't sure t-that I was going to s-survive. But, I-I didn't l-lose h-hope and l-look here I a-am. In front of y-you. Absolutely fit and f-fine.
I am s-sorry Y-Y/N. I r-really am.”

Once that first tear of yours broke free, the rest followed in an unbroken stream- alongside of your voice cracking.
We both were crying our heart out until no more tears were left and only sobbing could be heard.

You: “Do you forgive me?”

Me: “Only on one condition..”

You: “And what is th-

Me: “You have to treat me with my favorite food for a whole week!”

Then we both burst out laughing...

You: “You're still the same. Crazy for food!”

Me: “Of course, who isn't?”

You: “Does that mean that you still love me?”

Me: *sigh* “I need some time Tae..”

And with that your face fell.

You: “It's Oka-

Before you even completed your sentence, I pressed my lips on your soft ones. You were shocked but slowly gave in. We both were smiling throughout it. The kiss was a simple, sweet but passionate one. Slowly we both pulled back, a blush spread across our cheeks.
Then you fell silent. For several moments we both did, and the quiet had a comfortable feeling.

Then You said, “All right, we're back together again. What the hell do we do next?”

After the storms the sunshine returns, and crying is much the same, so let it out, let it out. May our reunion be not a finding but a sweet collision of Destinies!
