This is very simple love story inspired from real life story but have some changes.

It just reflects immaturity, ego clashes and relationships.

Avni - It's been 2 years of our marriage, I still wonder how it all started ? ( smiling ).

Neil - Journey, our journey is the most beautiful phase for me. ( smiles )

Sitting on the terrace with a cup of steaming coffee and their talks, both the love birds were spending time with each other.

Let's peep into their school life in order to see how it all started.

Class 5th

She was a topper and reserved girl with no attitude, all she cared about was her studies and friends. Actually she wasn't having much close friends, she was a humble girl but everyone considered her as a nerd.

He was a carefree boy with good looks, he was egoistic but was good at heart. He wasn't much into studies, all he cared about was fun and enjoyment.

They both were introduced as strangers but with passage of time they both became friends infact best friends.

The boy always used to spend time with the girl and girl enjoyed his company, they both became habitual to each other. When their friendship was growing stronger day by day, their teacher acted as an angel and made them sit together.

At younger age, students used to become upset when they were asked to sit with opposite gender but these two people were the happiest as they both enjoy each other's presence and willingly sat with each other.

Their increasing closeness and friendship became the talk of the class. Everyone thought that they both are in relationship, they always denied this but they were falling for each other and weren't able to understand these newly formed emotions.

Avni and Neil, two best friends bonded together with thread of trust and some unusual feeling that we term as love.

Avni helped Neil in studies and Neil's grades eventually improved. Both were regarded as intelligent pair and teachers were pretty much impressed with their progress especially Neil's progress. Final exams came and both performed well, Neil's parents were shocked after seeing his grades while he passed a sweet smile to Avni who was sitting with her mother in the parents teacher meeting. Avni smiles back at him as they both have tried to utilise their free time for their studies in school itself.

Class 6th started and now the class have to be divided into sections. Avneil were scared as they don't want to get separate but somehow hoped for the best. God was on their side so they both got same section. Both were happy and their bond became more close in that class.

Soon class 7th started and this was the life changing class for them.

The initial months were going smooth until and unless Neil decided to express his feelings for Avni. He was crazy for her, he used to like her but now he is sure he is in love with her. He wanted to take a step ahead but was scared of rejection. He didn't wanted to loose her friendship and he was scared that their friendship will get spoil.

He decided to seek Riya's help who was Avni's childhood friend and told her that he likes Avni. Riya was happy for her friend and assured Neil that she will try to find Avni's feelings regarding him.

Days passed by and Riya tried all her methods on Avni in order to get some lead regarding her feelings but Avni never told her anything. Riya applied her last trick and asked her, What's the value of Neil in her life ?

Avni was shocked at first but then decided to answer this question as she knew that her secrets are safe with Riya and she wanted to share her hidden emotions with her but wasn't able to do so.

Avni - Riya, why do I feel that I..... I....

Riya - You what ?

Avni - I am in love with ....

Riya - Neil. ( happily ).

Avni nods shyly.

Riya - Oh my God !! ( excitedly )

Riya hugged Avni while Avni was confused at her behaviour.

Riya - I am so happy for you.

Avni - What ?

Riya remembered that Neil will himself confess his feelings for Avni and she shouldn't open her mouth.

Riya - You both will look good together. ( smiles sheepishly ).

Avni - Do you really think, he loves me ? I.... I mean there are other girls who you know... they . .

Riya - Oh shut up. Don't think too much dude.

Avni sighs

Avni - You are becoming mad day by day.

Riya - My best friend is in love so its obvious I will act mad. ( smiling )

Avni facepalmed herself.

Avni - Don't open your freaking mouth in front of Neil.

Riya - I zip my mouth. Okay. ( her smile wasn't leaving her face )

Avni - Riya, have you shared you first kiss with Ali ?

Riya - Hein !! What makes you think so ?

Avni - You are smiling without any reason.

Riya - I....I...I... will be back. Okay, you sit here.

She ran from there while Avni was sitting there confused.

Riya ran towards the field where Neil was busy in playing football.

Riya - Neil.. ( screamed his name ).

Neil - Riya, I am playing dude. ( focusing on goal while playing )

Riya - Y ( screamed )

Neil - This girl is crazy. ( kicking the ball towards the goal post )

It was a goal but Neil was lost in his own world as it strikes him that Riya said Y which means Yes.

He looked at Riya while she nods her head positively. Neil was numb for sometime, he was immersed in his thoughts but his trance was broken when he heard hooting of his teammates declaring that his team have won the match. They all congratulated each other but Neil was lost in his own world.

He ran towards Riya.

Neil - Avni.

Riya - Feelings are mutual. ( teasingly )

Neil smiles and blushes at same time.

Riya - Mr. Khanna don't waste your time, I heard that Avni's friend Vidyut is also mad for her. Go and claim your girl.

Neil - I will beat the hell out of Vidyut.

Riya - Firstly go and confess your feelings. ( rolling her eyes ).

Neil - Going.

He went towards the basketball court where Avni was busy in playing basketball. He sat there and started his favourite hobby i.e admiring his lady love. After sometime, the game got over and Avni sat in one corner all worn out due to tiring game. Neil went towards her and held his water bottle infront of her. Avni looked at him shocked.

Avni - You went for your football match. Right ?

Neil - Firstly have some water.

Avni drank some water while Neil was staring her continuously. Avni noticed his gaze on her.

Avni - What ? ( confused )

Neil - Nothing. Actually I want to tell you that ....

Before he can speak anything bell rang and he cursed it under his breathe.

Avni - Neil it's the time for our first class. Come.

Neil - But.

Avni - Come with me stupid.

She dragged him with her and they both sat in their respective places i.e beside each other. The teacher entered and asked the students to keep their books on the table.

Avni was searching her bag like a maniac and she realised that she forgot her book at home. She was scared and the teacher disliked Avni due to some unknown reasons. Neil saw her facial expressions and concluded that Avni is not having book with her.

Teacher was busy in scolding student who didn't brought the book and Avni was shivering in fear as she knew that she will be served with the maximum scoldings as the social studies teacher dislike her and her mistake is an advantage for her to shower her entire frustration on Avni. Neil could sense her fear, so he kept his book on Avni's table and stood up in order to inform the teacher that he is not having book.

Avni was shocked with his action and was about to say something but Neil threw a small bit of paper on her table. She opened the bit in which he have mentioned that teacher have seen his face and now if she will try to speak the truth then both of them will face the consequences. Avni didn't reacted and the teacher didn't said anything to Neil as he was her favourite student.

Avni looked at Neil and he winked at her. They both shared the book and soon the class came to an end. Avni smacks Neil's shoulder.

Neil - What ? ( fake anger )

Avni - Idiot.

Neil - Oh come on !! I need to enjoy some perks of being her favourite student. ( smirks ).

Avni - You are impossible.

Neil - I will call you in the evening.

Avni - Why ?

Neil - I want to talk to you.

Avni - That you can do here as well.

Neil - But I will call you on your mother's number.

Avni - Time ?

Neil - 7 PM

Avni - Okay.

Soon the day passed and the clock strikes at 7, Neil dialled Avni's number with great courage and she picked up the call immediately as if waiting for his call.

Neil - ( on call ) Hey hi.

Avni - Hi.

Neil - You know today's IPL match is between MI and KKR.

Avni - I know and MI will win.

Neil - No KKR.

Avni - MI

Neil - KKR.

This argument went on for few more minutes.

Avni - You called me for arguing over IPL match. ( unbelievably )

Neil - It was just an excuse, I want to tell you... tell you that ...

Avni - That ?

Neil - I love you.

He said in one breathe and cut the call immediately. He was breathing heavily as he himself don't know how he gathered this much of courage.

Avni was numb, she wasn't knowing how to react as her best friend have confessed his feelings and she don't even know how to respond. She feels for him but at the same time she is nervous.

She called Riya as Riya is her saviour in these kind of situations.

Riya - Yes Avni.

Avni - Neil confessed his love for me.

Riya chocked her milk after listening this.

Riya - What was your answer ?

Avni - He cut the call immediately after saying I Love you.

Riya - Call him back then. You also love him. Right ?

Avni - I am nervous dude.

Riya - If he can gather enough courage to tell you about his feelings then you can also do it. Try it.

Avni - Okay.

Call ends.

Avni called Neil and Neil's heartbeat increased after seeing Avni's call.

Neil - Oh God !! What shall I do now ? Pick up the call dammit.

He received her call nervously.

Neil - H....h...hello Avni.

Avni remain silent.

Neil - Avni please speak something ... I know...I...

Avni - I love you too.

She said and cut the call. Neil was shocked but soon a wide smile appeared on his face.

They both kept on thinking about each other and were not able to sleep that night. He was gazing at his watch again and again as the night was very long for him.

Next day arrived

Both were excited to meet each other. As soon as she entered classroom, his face lit up in joy while she lowered her gaze as she wasn't able to react. Riya nudged her teasingly while she glares at her.

Avni sat beside Neil while they both became nervous.

Neil - Hi. ( nervously )

Avni - Hi. ( nervously )

This was the start of their journey. Beginning of their relationship.

This story will be completed within one or two shots.

It might not be that much good but as I said that it's inspired from real life story, the entire school life is real but it will have some changes in the ending. Real life stories are not much dramatic.
