Allie is having a second thought whether she's gonna seacrh Patrick or not on the internet. She wants to see him what he looks like right now, what is the current news about him, but a part of her is scared to do it. Afraid that she might see something that can hurt her.

But I have to do this. She thought.

Eversince Declan describes the man that saves him, she can't keep off in her mind that it was Patrick. It might be impossible but who knows? We can't predict the destiny and fate. It soubds crazy but she believed to those such things. She was about to type Patrick's name on the google search bar when someone tapped her shoulders.

  "Allie!"
She was literally startled.

  "Oh God Chloe! Don't you ever do that again!"
She said while holding her chest. She felt that her heart jumped out.

  "I'm sorry Allie. I was just concern cos lately you always staring on your laptop."
Chloe said.

  "I was just thinking about something."
She told her.

  "Something? Or should say someone?"
Chloe said in a suspecious tone and wiggled her brows.

  "Ugh! Leave me."
Allie rolled her eyes. Chloe chuckled.

  "Oh, anyways, Macy wants to talk to you."
Chloe told her.

  "What for?"
She said.

  "Dunno."
Chloe shrugged. Allie stood up and closed her laptop.

  "Okay, I'll talk to her then."

  "Good luck!"
Chloe teased.

She just stick her tongue out on her. She went to Macy's office. Macy is their boss. When she reached her office, she knocked on the door before entering.

  "Come in!"
She heard Macy's voice from inside. She twist the knob and opened the door.

  "Chloe said that you want to talk to me."
She said.

  "Yeah, come in."
Macy said, she entered the room ans sat on the vacant chair in front of Macy.

  "So what is it?"
She said.

  "Well, I want to ask you a favor."
Macy said.

  "Okay? What favor?"

  "I have an appointment tonight with a very important person, but I can't make it because my daughter
is sick and my husband has work tonight. I am the one who will look after her. And I want you to be my representative instead. Here's the files, read and study it. Be sure that the person you will meet will agree to the contract."
Her boss told her. She get the folder from her hands.

  "Okay, but this person that I will meet later, does he knows that you will send me? Instead of you coming personally? I means it's kinda informal if he doesn't even know."
She said to Macy.

  "Yeah, I already told him, and it's okay with him. He just want someone that will discuss the terms and condition of the contract."
Macy said.

  "Okay, what time we will meet then? And where?"

  "8pm. At the Blue Gardens."

  "Okay, got it."
Allie stood up.

  "And oh! Before I forgot."
Macy said, she turned around.

  "What is it?"
Allie said.

  "He's a very important person, you better look good, you know? Just in case?"
Macy teased her. She just smirked.

  "It's a business meeting not a date."
Allie reminded.

  "He's a good looking guy, who knows?"
Her boss said.

  "Okay, whatever you say."
She sighed and left the room.

Whoever that guy, I sure, Patrick is more than handsome than him.
She thought.

She went back to her desk, and Chloe is still there, talking to someone through her phone.
It's like Chloe didn't see her coming. So she silently walks towards her.

  "Okay Joe. I know what to do."
Chloe said in a low voice.

Joe? Who's Joe?
She said to herself curiously.
Chloe was surprised when she saw her.

  "Jeez Allie!"
She gasped. Allie just laughed at her reaction.

  "That's what I feel everytime you startle me too."
Allie mocked.

  "Okay, I will not do it agaib. Pwew! I felt my heart jumped out of my rib cage."
Chloe said holding chest. Allie sat down on her chair and dropped the folder on the desk.

  "So? What did Macy told you?"
Chloe asked her.

  "Nothing, she just asked a favor. On her behalf, I will attend an important meeting."
She told her. Chloe was just nodded while typing something in her phone.

"Uhm, Chloe?"
Allie called her.

"Hmm? What?"

"After I pick up Declan, can you look after him?"
She said.

  "Yeah sure. Why not."

  "Really?"

  "Yeah, I said okay."
Chloe rolled her eyes.

  "Thanks Chloe! You're such an angel!"
Allie hugged her.

  "I know. And you're always welcome."
Chloe said.

  "So who's Joe by the way?"
Allie asked her. Chloe's eyes widened.

  "D-did you h-heard something?"
Her face paled.

  "Nothing, I just heard the name 'Joe'. Who's he?"
Allie said.

  "Uhm, no one, and it's not Joe, it's Joey."
Chloe said and looked away.

  "Okay."
Allie said, she sense something that Chloe's hiding.

After their work, they both pick up Declan, and went straight to Allie's condo.

  "Dec, you will stay with Aunt Chloe just for this night okay? Mommy has to do something important, I have a meeting. I'll pick you up later after I'm done okay?"
Allie told Declan while packing his stuff in his Batman backpack.

  "Okay mom, pick me up okay?"
He said.

  "Of course baby."
Allie kisses his cheeks. After packing, Allie gives the bag to Chloe.

  "Take care of Declan okay? I'll kill you if something's happen."
Allie warned Chloe.

  "I know, I'll take care of him. He's safe with me."
Chloe assured her and carried Declan.

  "Okay, say goodbye to mommy."
Allie told her son.

  "Bye mom, I love you."
Declan gave her a peck on her cheeks.

  "Love you more baby."
Allie said and did the same thing to her son.
She walked them to the door and left.

  "Okay, I need to fix myself."
She said.

As Chloe and Declan walked outside the condominium building, she went straight to a car across the lot. She opened the door of the passenger seat.

  "Hey Chloe!"
Joe, Andy, and Pete greeted her.

  "Hey!"
She smiled to them, and tucked Declan on the passenger seat and put the seatbelt on him.

  "Aunt Chloe, who are they? Is he your boyfriend?"
Declan asked her. She was quite shocked when Declan pointed Joe and asked her if he was her girlfriend.

  "No Dec, they're just my friend."
She told the kid. And she get inside the car.

  "Is this Declan now?"
Andy asked in disbelief.

  "Yes he is."
Chloe said. Declan looked the boys confusedly.

  "Hi Dec! I'm Uncle Andy, this is Uncle Joe and Pete."
Andy introduced themselves to Declan, but the kid is still confused.

  "Who are you? Why do you know me?"
He said to them. The three of them looked at Chloe.

  "It's okay guy, tell him. He ought to know."
She said.

  "Uhm. Dec, I know you're still young to understand this all, but we're your father's friend."
Pete told Declan. His eyes widened.

  "You know my dad?!"

  "Yes, we do Dec."
Joe said. But Declan looked down.

  "What's the problem Dec?"
Chloe asked him.

  "Mommy never told me anything abou daddy, she said that he's busy. Didn't he loves us?"
The kid said sadly.

  "No Dec. Your daddy loves you so much, and also your mom. He loves the both of you."
Pete said.

  "But--"

  "Dec do you want mommy and daddy to be together again?"
Joe asked him. He looked up to Joe and nodded excitedly.

  "Yes! I want my daddy and mommy together!"

  "Then you have to follow us."

  "Okay Uncle Joe."
Declan said.

  "Good boy, you really look like Patrick."

Allie didn't know what to wear, she's already ransacking her closet for half an hour.

  "Why am I conscious?"
She sat down on the bed and put her hand under her chin.
It's already 6:45 pm. Patrick's face keeps flashing in her mind.

  "Dammit."
She cursed.

  "I need to focus, why am I thinking him?"
She stood up and started picking dress again.

  "This will do."
She choose a simple black dress, and decided to pair it with a frech coat style blazer, and black sequenced pumps.

Macy told her that the person she will meet is important. Important means formal. She thought.

She started dressing and fixing her hair, and put some light make-up. After, she looked at herself on the mirror.
She felt strange. This is the same look, back when she and Patrick had their first date. She shook her head.

  "No, this is not a date with Patrick. This is a fvcking meeting."
She told herself.

She picked up her bag and folder on the bed and went outside the condo and drove to the meeting place.

Allie arrived at the meeting place just right in time. She went out her car and gave the key to a man to park her car.

  "Good Evening Miss, Welcome to the Blue Gardens."
An usherette greeted her. She just smiled, and she was guided to the receptionist.

  "Good evening Miss, do you have any reservations?"
The woman behind the reception desk asked her.

  "Uhm, actually no, I here on behalf of my boss, Macy Gonzales."
She told the woman.

  "A moment Miss."
The woman said and typed back to her computer. After a minute, the woman looked at her again.

  "Your name is here Miss."
The woman said to Allie.

  "Okay, thank you."
She thanked her and smiled.
The woman also smiled to her and instructed the usherette to accompany her to the place.

Allie followed the usherette. A weird feeling started to bother her again. She really had no idea what's happening to her. It feels like there is something's gonna happen.
While she was accompanied, the usherette stopped.

  "Ma'am I'm sorry, but I have to leave you, my supervisor needs my presence immediately.

  "Okay, I don't mind, can you just tell me where I can meet the person that I will see."
She said.

  "Just walk straight, the person you will meet is waiting at the end of this passage."
The usherette instructed her.

  "Okay, thank you."
She said. She was alone now, she had no choice but to continue walking. As she reached the end of the passage, the whole place is dark, she can't help to feel scared, she hates dark places.

  "Hello?"
Her voice were trembling because she's really scared.

  "Am I in the right place?"
She told herself. This is not funny. She bit her lip. She was about to run when she heard a familiar song, and along with it is a familiar voice. Voice that she misses a lot.
