I watched from the other room as Garroth tended to (y/n)'s wounds.

It was different to see such behavior. She wasn't trusting at first yet, she was slowly doing so.

It was funny listening.

"You spying on someone?" Lady Aphmau's voice giggled.

I looked over. "Oh. Uh, no. I'm not." I said softly to her.

She raised a brow. "Then why are you just staring?"

"I'm just thinking." I said.

Aphmau chuckled softly, coming closer. "Bout what?"

"About." Then it clicked. "Aph? Why did one of the guards say you weren't here before me?" I asked.

"That's a weird question to ask." Aphmau said softly. "I was at Meteli, meeting with the lord..."

I was quiet before nodding.

She smiled. "Hey. I'm gonna be busy tonight. See you later?"

I nodded. "See you."

She giggled before leaving.

I sighed in relief. I don't think she'll be happy about seeing (y/n) here.

At first when I finally knew I was alone, another Shadow aura was moving. A huge one... Just as much as two.

I looked over outside before seeing a flurry of hair flying and red armor.

I frowned before looking outside, but saw nothing. No trace of anyone.

There was a wolf howl outside of the village, making me look that direction.

I felt uneasy. Because werewolves weren't around... Other than Yip...

I walked towards the sound to outside of the village, my sword drawn.

It was overall quiet. Until the sudden rush of footsteps came and then suddenly went away.

My face corted with confusion before I was hit by a rock. In the back. "Ow!"

There was a dark laugh. It was feminine, but definitely like a man's.

"Can't escape the Shadow's wrath. Can't escape the Shadow's wrath. Can't escape the Shadow's wrath. Ha ha ha ha!" A voice whispered fast, but their cackle laugh rang out.

Suddenly, my sword disappeared. Two young women stepped out, circling me.

"Can't escape the Shadow's sight. Can't escape the Shadow's sight. Can't escape the Shadow's sight." The other said quickly.

The one from before cackled as she walked, throwing her head back.

Shadow Knights... Taken over...

I looked at them. Both had fire red hair and crimson red eyes. Their skin dark as night and lips with a crazed smile.

"Oh Laurance~! It's great to see you brother!" The second girl laughed.

I frowned. "Stella..."

"It's Kitty!" She hissed, her black ears forward to me.

The second girl laughed like a crazed woman. "Being the daughter of your enemy has it's perks!" She shrieked.

"Christina." I said again.

She laughed, throwing her head back as the two stopped walking. Her laugh sounded like a wolf howl.

"No one can hear us but you." Kitty smirked.

"Sis. Chris. Stop." I said. "You both need to come back. People are worried sick."

"Oh yeah? Like WHO." Kitty laughed.

"Vylad and Aaron." I sternly said.

Suddenly the girls stopped. Kitty was quiet. Christy was quiet for once since she started laughing.

"They hate us... don't they..." Christy said.

"No... We don't." Two voices said from the side the gates came.

The girls went into a defensive stance.

Vylad and Aaron were there, in their normal form.

We all knew Aaron was Shad's reincarnation. So he had a form... Just not easily seen.

Vylad, he is a Shadow Knight since he was kidnapped and turned fully...

Christy and Stella had been kidnapped about a year ago and they were turned. They were "okay" for a while... But soon started to leave and... They weren't seen since three weeks ago.

Christy's eyes still glared red. Kitty was slowly relaxing into a normal stance.

Vylad gently kissed her, making me have to grit my teeth to not hurt him, and her form turned back into her Original Self.

Christy... was again, not so easily known for.

She's stubborn all the time. She's even MORE stubborn in Shadow Form.

Aaron stood in front of her, trying to get her to calm down.

Christy threw a punch but Aaron caught her wrist. "What was that?" He chuckled.

"Leave me alone... You're with Aphmau..." She said quietly.

"I'm her friend. Nothing more." He softly said. "And your with a baby right now. You shouldn't be getting hurt all the time." He smiled.

Oh right. Christy is pregnant. With Aaron's kid. Whichh has sent Aphmau bonkers since she still likes him...

Christy looked at him. "Why do you always have to win..." She giggled.

Aaron kissed her for a slight moment. "Because I'm right and you're not." He smirked.

"Oh hush." She said softly as her reverted back to her usual self, looking like she has been: a six month pregnant girl.

The sun as setting quickly.

"We should get back." I said softly before we all started to walk.

I felt a little left out since almost all of the guys have a girl they are with.

Garroth has Lain, Travis has Taylor, Vylad has Kitty, Aaron has Christy, Dante has Kawaii~Chan, and the rest of the people in Phoenix Drop have their husbands and wives. Everyone but me.

It was dark when we all reached the gates, Aphmau was there, looking worried.

I sighed as we all walked in. Aphmau looked at Aaron. "What happened!?"

"Laurance had gotten lured out by Shadow Knights again." He looked at Christy and Kitty.

Aphmau sighed. "Okay."

Aaron was confused but didn't question it.

I looked over and saw Vylad and Kitty already walking home.

Aaron and Christy were just starting to leave when Aphmau gently touched Aaron's shoulder.

Well. This is my cue to go back to the station...

A a r o n

"Is everything alright, Aphmau?" I asked softly.

"Yeah. Everything is." Aphmau said. "I just need to talk to you in private."

I looked at Christy.

Christy had a hand over across her stomach and she did not have a pleasant look on her face.

"Hey. I'll meet you at home, CC. Okay?" I softly said.

Christy nodded softly. "Mkay." She gently kissed my cheek, but it was more of the bottom edge of my jaw since she didn't try to do it right.

I have her a silly glare from her doing it, making her giggle and walk home.

"So what is it?" I asked.

"This." I suddenly hit with a potion from the back.

My vision was suddenly darkening before it became light.

Aphmau smiled up at me. I chuckled. "What's with the smile, babe?" I asked.

"It's nothing. Come on." She gently touched my hand to lead me to her house.

I chuckled with a smile as we both walked inside.
