The week passed, Blake would knock on my door and I would avoid it. Pretending I was not home every time. When he rung my cellphone I would lay it down on the bed and stare at it's blinking blue screen until it ended.

During class time, his eyes would wander trying to find me. Once he finally did he passed me an awkward smile and stared at me strangly, On Wensday he just didn't look back at all.

In the hallway I ducked in and out of girl's bathrooms. I felt bad for avoiding him, but I need to. It's the only way to protect him. I'm the reciver to timing tick bombs, and I dont want him to be in the blast radius when I explode.

Today was Saturday. I woke up to Callie "softly" hitting me with my pillow. "What?" I slurred, pulling the blanket over my grim tired features and messy hair.

"Hurry get up, we are going out!" Callie cheered. I looked at her in confusion. "It's Saturday, I want to introduce you to meet my new friends. They are super cool!" She explained. "Remeber what happend last Saturday?" I asked, rolling over to face her. "Well yeah, but that won't happen." She stammered over her words. "Sure." I said briefly.

Sitting up, light cascaded from the sun inberween my blinds, lighting up the room. "I'll wait for you in the kitchen, I'll grab a poptart."she tells me. "Grab me one too?" I asked. "Maybe I will...or maybe I'll eat it." She said before trotting out of my room.
"Poptart." I mumbled before trudging over to my wardobe.

After a quick shower I brushed my teeth and got dressed. Since I was worried about making a good first impression, I straightened my hair and put on a black baseball tee and ripped jeans. I pulled in black ankle socks and my converse.

I slid my phone into my back pocket before heading downstairs. I stared at my living room. It seemed dull today. Almost as if a grey cloud was blocking away the "home-y" sensation it would bring. I bite my lip remembering my day dream from Monday.

I tried not to envision my couch engulfed in flames as I headed toward the kitchen. Callie was leaning against the island, eating a poptart. Her head was curly today, her cheeks where stained pink and her lips where red, matching her white skater dress. Her wedges made her seem taller. "Where are we going again?" I asked. Callie frowned at my outfit. "What about the new clothes we bought."
I looked down. This looked fine to me. "Whats wrong with this?"

I questioned, reffering to my outfit. "Nothing, I was just hoping to impress my friends." I bite my lip at her words. "Can't I go like this?" She only nodded. Clearly disappointed. I grab the poptart from the white flat plate next to Callie.

As I muched on the poptart, my mother came downstairs with Wendi in her arms. "Hey Sweetie." She grinned. She kissed my forehead while Wendi reached to be held by the arms of Callie. Callie willingly took her in her arms. "Hey Mom."
"What are two up too?" She asked. Callie told her about metting her friends and my mother replied with a assuring nod.

After breakfast we headed into Callie's car. She cranked up "Treat you better" by Shawn Mendes and we sang along, singing our hearts out. During the car ride we chatted about what to do when we got there. "We are going to finish our shopping." Callie told me with a nudge.

Flashbacks of what happend last week flooded back. "I don't really feel comfortable with this Cal." I told me best friend. She rolled her eyes. "That was because I invited Blake, this time, the oversized statue isn't going to be there." She remakered. "What about Keko?" At this question my friend fell silent, making me bite my lip.

"Great." I whimpered. "It won't be that bad." Callie told me. She finally parked her car in the parkinglot of the mall. I felt uncomftorable meeting Callie's new friends, Something in my gut twisted as I thought of multiple things that I could do wrong.

I have to at least try. Callie must have sensed my nervousness because she layed a assuring hand on my arm. "It's going to be great, I think your going to like them." She exclaimed. The fact was, that I did not like them. We found them all at Forever Twenty-One trying on new clothes.

There where four girls. One girl wore her red hair down in big curls, which seemed to make her green eyes and freckles pop. She wore a blue dress with a golden belt. Her wedges hit the ground as she came scurrying to welcome Callie.

A girl with Black sleek straight hair was glancing down at her bedazzled iphone, the tapping of her french tips making it obvious she was texting someone. She was wearing a white flower blouse with black slacks and black heals.

A girl with blonde hair waved over to me excited, her hair was in a cute ponytail unlike the other two and she wore a grey tight fitted shirt with dark blue jeans and a white scarf. On her feets were a pair of brown uggs, and the forth girl was Keko. But one thing I had to mention was the guy.
Keko was wrapped in his arms.

He had blonde hair and blue eyes and he smiled at me. He seemed like either a hookup or a boyfriend, from the glint in his eyes when Keko smiled I knew he leaned towards the boyfriend option. Callie dragged me towards her friends. "Hey Riley!" Callie greeted the red haired girl. The blonde hair girl was named Lily.

"Her name is Kimmy." Callie gestured toward the girl on her phone. "He's Jake, that's Keko's boyfriend." Callie told me.

I saw the couple snuggling and it made my stomach flip. Poor guy. Kimmy looked up and down at my outfit. A frown creased upon her face. "What are we still doing here?" Asked Keko excitedly.
"Let's shop!"

We found out Keko has a Bf, so why did she kiss Blake? So far Scarlet has successfully avoided Blake.
