Victoria pov
I was resting after finally getting the triplets down for the night.

It was Halloween and James, Sirius, and Remus had gone all out. Needless to say I was exhausted.

James sank down next to me and rubbed my shoulders. I hummed and closed my eyes. James chuckled and kissed my head.
"Mmmm. You know the kids are asleep." I opened my eyes and saw the look on my husband's face.
"No James."
"Come on. You know you want to." I put my hands on his chest and spoke.
"I mean it. No." He smirked and leaned back.
"If you don't want to that's fine. I could just lay in bed. All by myself." I laughed and spoke.
"James Fleamont Potter I hate you so much now." He smiled and kissed me. Suddenly we heard a noise. James raised an eyebrow and stood up.
"I swear if Padfoot forgot something I am going to strangle him." He went out to the hallway then came rushing back in.
"Tori. It's Him." I froze and shot up.
"What?!" James rushed over and kissed me.
"Go. I'll hold him off."

I rushed upstairs then grabbed the girls. I put them into the same crib then picked up Harry. Suddenly I heard a thud in the hallway. The door blasted open and I shielded my son. I spun around to see Voldemort there. I put my son down and knelt down.
"Harry. Lizzie. Holly. Mummy loves you. Daddy loves you. You three are so brave." I stood up and Voldemort spoke.
"Step aside girl."
"No. Please not my children. Don't do this."
"I said step aside."
"No! Please just spare my children." He held up his wand and spoke.
"So be it then." He yelled the death spell and I fell, my last thoughts were on my children. Please spare them.

Arthur pov
I rushed to my sister's house. I rushed in and called out for James and Tori. When I got no response I panicked. I rushed up and saw James on the floor dead. I rushed into the nursery and fell down.

My younger sister was dead. She was on the floor dead. I turned her over and closed her eyes. I looked in the crib and saw a miracle. My nephew and nieces were alive. I got up and looked at the kids. I picked up Harry and saw the scar on his forehead. Holly and Elie had matching ones. I grabbed the three and rushed down.

I went to my house and Molly rushed out.
"Arthur. What happened?" I sighed and handed Molly, Ellie.
"They're dead. They were betrayed." We went in and got the triplets calmed down. Soon the rest of the Order was here minus Sirius. It turns out he had betrayed my sister and James. Remus and Lily were devastated when they found out. Dumbledore spoke up.
"They need protection."
"They are safe here!" Molly yelled. Arguments ensued but Dumbledore insisted that the triplets be put with a muggle family. I was devastated but didn't argue.

Later I was sitting on the bed staring at pictures of my little sister. I stopped over one of her, James, and Harry.

I smiled and thumbed over it. Suddenly I heard a voice.
"I always loved that picture." My head shot up and I saw Tori there looking transparent.
"Tori?" She smiled wryly and spoke.
"Hey Arthur." I went over and spoke.
"How........"
"I wanted to talk to you. James is talking with Remus right now." I sighed and reached over. Amazingly I was able to touch her hand.
"I am so sorry Tori. I should have protected you."
"It's fine Arthur. It's not your fault. Just......There's something you have to know. Sirius wasn't the secret keeper. We switched to make it be Peter instead. We thought no one would suspect we would choose him. But he's the spy." I froze then sighed and leaned back. Tori sat down and spoke.
"Arthur. I know what happened. Promise me you will fight for the kids. I want my children to grow up to know love and compassion." I smiled and spoke.
"Always Tori." She smiled then spoke.
"I'll see you Arthur. Don't worry. We'll see each other again." After she faded away I finally let the tears fall. My sister was gone and would never be coming back to life.
