(No one's pov)

"Can someone remind me why we are here?" Kirumi asked the group as everyone was standing in a deserted area that was occasionally littered with crates big enough to hide behind and a few trees as well.

"Because it's Shuichi's birthday and we have to celebrate it!" Kaede answered, hugging Shuichi's arm tightly

"But why are we here?" Kokichi repeated, "We literally spent one hour getting here,"

"Ooo! Are we gonna do some horse riding?! I always wanted to ride a horsey!" Himiko jumped up and down excitedly 

"Actually, no, we're not doing any horse hiding," Shuichi said

"Let me guess, it's something to do with Danganronpa," Kaito said in a sarcastic tone 

"You know, I was the one who hired out people to drive us here," Rantaro commented, "So I hope this is worth it,"

"Yeah, Ouma and I had to spend a lot of time convincing half of us to come," Tenko said

"I'm just glad you didn't force us to do this on a school day," Angie sighed with relief

"Actually Angie, today is a Wednesday and we're skipping school," Tori nervously laughed

"WHAT?! Ouma, come here you little shit! You told me it was a Monday and it was a bank holiday!" Angie yelled, running after Kokichi, looking like she was going to strangle him with her own hands

"At least we will be spending time together. That's what counts, right?" said Ryoma

"Only a loner like you would say something as cringy as that," Gonta told him

"Look, let's just get this over with before we have any fights," Tsuki sighed before turning to Korekiyo, "You still owe me my bubble tea and sweets,"

"Alright! Alright! Chill, guys. Be patient," Kaede sheeshed, "The instructor is coming in a sec so can you all not be a pain in the ass for at least 5 minutes?"

"Wait, instructor?" Miu asked, "Are we doing some sort of activity?"

"Just wait already!" Kaede told her

"Hello, you're the people who booked in for today, right? I'm gonna be your instructor for today," a man walked up to them in what looked like a camp uniform or something like that

Immeadiately, Kokichi put his hand up like he was a kid

"Yes?" The man asked him

"Can you finally tell us what the hell we're doing here?" Kokichi told him

"Well, yes. Though I thought you already knew," the instructor said

"Well, actually Akamatsu-San requested all of us to meet up here," Maki pulled on a curious face, sounding and looking absolutely adorable

"And I had to get convince everyone," Tenko piped in

"Don't forget I hired out the transport!" Rantaro chimed in

"Shut up and let the nice old man continue," Kaede said through clenched teeth

"Anyways," the instructor continued, feeling intimidated by the crew, "You guys are here for a paint ball session,"

"Woah! You guys never told me this!" Himiko grinned, "I'm so pumped up!"

"You bet I'll be joining in!" Kaito smirked, cracking his knuckles

"Oh I think I'll be useless in a paint ball match," Tori said in a small tone

"Seriously? I got pulled out of school for this shit?!" Angie shouted, "You guys are the worst!"

"Get over yourself already," Kaede intergected, "You're acting like a complete child,"

"Um, anyways, shall I continue?" The instructor nervously asked

"Please do," Korekiyo said

"Well, you'll be given these special paint ball guns that when you hit someone on the opposite side, it gives you a point. Of course I'll come up with different games for you all," The instructor explained

"Wait, where are the suits we're supposed to wear?" Miu asked

"You don't have any, you wear your own clothes,"

"Kaede! Why the hell did you choose this place?!" Kokichi whined

"Shut up you little rat! I was on a budget, alright?!" Kaede snapped at him, "You think I'm made of money?!"

"To use the guns are simple, you just press the trigger. There's also a scope you can look through with a red dot in the middle. These guns are designed to look like what you'll use in the army but they're harmless," The instructor said

"Yeah... harmless," Tori mumbled

"Any questions?"

"Can you get me an Uber or something so I can go back to school?" Angie asked, "I'm missing Biology right now!"

"Angie, can you stop talking about the damn school!" Pretty much everyone told her

"Well, I'll split you guys into teams then and give you the guns," the man told them, handing them a gun each, "Also, you'll be able to tell who's on your team and not because I'll give you tags that you'll tie on your body,"

"Woah! I feel like I'm in the army! So cool!" Himiko grinned, holding the paint ball gun tightly

"It is a bit heavy," Ryoma commented, having to have been given a child's gun because the normal ones were too big for him to carry

"Yay! Lets go and kill some soldiers!" Kokichi cheered before Kaito hit him on the head

"Lets just hurry up and get this damn game over with!" Angie said

"Alright, so all of you have a little walkie talkie that you can communicate with the people on your team and all across the field, there are stuff like smoke grenades and all that kind of stuff hidden away," the instructor told them, "Okay, you guys have to go to the other end of the field,"

So with that, Kaito, Ryoma, Gonta, Tsumugi, Kaede, Korekiyo, Miu, Shuichi and Kirumi walked over to the other side of the field, guns in hand.

"We're so gonna destroy you!" Gonta shouted before the 9 of them disappeared 

"So, what do we do?! We have the lamest team ever!" Kokichi shouted once they were out of earshot

"I'm sorry about that Ouma-kun, I promise I'll do my best!" Maki promised 

"Hey calm down, we still have a chance," Rantaro told him

"What do you mean 'calm down'?! I am stuck on the most lamest team ever! Why didn't I get paired up with Kaito or Gonta?! At least they can shoot properly!" Kokichi whined

"Keep whining and I'll shoot you on the face," Angie threatened

"That is gonna hurt," Kiibo stated

"Come on Kokichi! We actually have a chance of winning! Just believe in yourself!" Himiko told him

"Fine. I beLIEve in myself," Kokichi repeated with a smirk on his face before Himiko punched him hard on the arm

"Um guys, I won't be much use in a paint ball fight, I can't shoot for my life," Tori confessed

"Don't worry, I'll cover you guys," Tsuki said, in a way that everyone assumed was reassuring 

"How can you cover us? I bet you can't even shoot properly!" Kokichi laughed

Tsuki didn't say anything, but the dark glint in her eyes said enough.

"Alright, are you ready?" The instructor called out to both groups. 

Kokichi's group hurried off to their side of the field. Tori hid behind a tree, Tenko and Himiko hid behind the large crates. Kiibo went into the mini woods and lay on the ground, ready for action, Rantaro crouched behind the bushes, Angie camouflaged herself and hid among the plants and bushes, Kokichi hid behind a post despite that fact that everyone could still see him and Maki was small enough to jump into one of the crates and hide.

"Alright, so the first game is just a simple battle. On your guns, there's a little screen. It tells you if you hit someone, how many lives you got and if you have been shot," the man told them, "Everyone starts off 

The instructor let out a small flare and the ultimate paint ball war began.

Gonta's charged right ahead. Kaito and Gonta just ran straight towards the opposing team, shooting them, everyone else in the team stayed back, shooting from afar.

Literally everyone aimed for Kokichi, even some people on his team. Rantaro pretended to be bad at shooting so he could hit Kokichi and Angie didn't even bother covering it up, she just straight up aimed for Kokichi.

"GAH! GUYS, HELP ME!" Kokichi yelled into the little ear piece clipped to his ear

"No way, it's too risky," Kiibo said.

"We're a little occupied here," Tenko told him, both her and Himiko shooting at Kaede and Shuichi who were close by

"I'm sorry but I won't be able to actually hit them!" Tori apologised

"Sorry, but I'm too busy shooting you," Angie said

"YOU GUYS ARE THE WORST!" Kokichi shouted before he was eliminated from the game. However, he legitimately was struggling to walk so the director had to help him.

"The gremlin is out. I repeat, the gremlin is out," Shuichi announced into his communicator

"THIS IS REVENGE OUMA!" Kaito shouted

"Was is necessary to shoot him that many times?" Miu nervously laughed

"Well, he was annoying to everyone," Korekiyo shrugged

"He deserves this," Kaede mercilessly said

"Long live the rat," Gonta laughed

"Remind me again why I'm here?" Kirumi asked

"Cheer up! This is fun, isn't it?" Ryoma said

"Ooo! This is could be an amazing scene in anime!" Tsumugi squealed

Kirumi and Ryoma were helping each other out. One aiming at one side, another aiming for the other. Kaede was mainly protecting Shuichi and shrieking whenever he got hit. Shuichi was trying to play but kept getting distracted because Kaede kept screaming at him whether or not he was okay. Tsumugi was trying her best to be good at shooting but she kept missing everyone. Gonta and Kaito were outright destroying everyone, showing no mercy whatsoever. Korekiyo was taking part and shooting people but he kept looking around as if he was looking for someone and Miu was somewhat good, she could hit people but didn't shoot that much.

Tenko was panicking as she was shooting pellets of paint in a frenzy but kept missing as the opposing team advanced on her,

"HEADS UP!" Himiko shouted at her, throwing an object above her. A smoke grenade. Tenko dove for cover before she and Himiko worked together to bring down some of the team members. 

"On your right!" Tenko warned Himiko before shooting Tsumugi who was behind her

"On your left!" Himiko warned Tenko before shooting Miu who was behind her. 

Tsumugi's and Miu's guns went off, alerting them at they had run out of lives. Laughing, they both walked back to the shelter together.

Kiibo hummed to himself as he shot among the plants, nobody ever noticing him seeing as he was at the side.

Rantaro aimed for as many people as he could, paint splattered all on his clothes and yellow blotches in his avocado green hair, but he left only Tsumugi alone. However, she was already out by now.

Maki had a huge, excited grin on her face as she pressed down on the trigger, sending many pellets at once but it didn't never hit anyone. Literally everyone went for her after Kokichi was down seeing as she was such an easy target. However Kaito prevented people from shooting her, despite being on the opposite team.

Tori kept hiding away, paint stains all over his uniform and a few dirt marks where he literally dove for cover onto the ground. He screamed whenever someone tried shooting at him. Eventually, his teammates got tired of always helping him out and left him to fend for himself.

Angie would shoot, but rarely. She would look through the scope and aim at someone people calculating in her head the possibility of the shot hitting the target but by then, the target had already left.

"Hikari! Where are you?! We need backup!" Kiibo shouted as the other team found out his hiding spot and Kiibo was running for it.

"Guns, loaded. Target, acquired. Shots..." Tsuki calmly said, aiming directly at Kaito's head before pressing the trigger, "Fired,"

The paint ball hit Kaito right on his cheek.

"The hell?! Who shot me?!" Kaito yelled, looking around but couldn't see anyone who could have shot him until 3 more hit him on the face again. One on his other cheek, one on his forehead and one on his nose. 

"That's gonna leave a bruise," Kiibo chuckled before shooting him on the stomach before getting up and running before Kaito could stop him.

"Thanks Hikari, but where the hell are you?" Kiibo spoke into his earpiece

"That doesn't concern you. All you need to know is that you can't find me," Tsuki bluntly replied

"Ahhhhhh! Someone help me!" Tori screamed, surrounded by Gonta, Kirumi, Ryoma, Shuichi and Kaede.

"On it," Tsuki said, throwing a smoke grenade between Tori and the team. Whilst the 5 were coughing in the smoke, Tori quickly fled and the 5 teenagers shrieked and yelled when they were shot multiple times on the face.

Tsuki looked down, watching the chaos unfold below her. Something wasn't right though. Someone was missing. 

Maki, Kokichi, Kaito, Miu and Tsumugi were out. Kirumi and Ryoma were stuck together, being quite an amazing team. Himiko and Tenko were another pair that stuck together. Tori dove for cover as the other team recovered from the attack. Rantaro allowed himself to get shot so he could be out and be reunited with Tsumugi again. Kiibo was helping out Angie who was caught in a sticky situation with Gonta. Kaede was shrieking and fussing over Shuichi who was wiping paint off his cheeks and feeling the welts that were left behind.

Tsuki sensed something or someone behind her and made no hesitation to swiftly turn and swing the gun around. 

Luckily for Korekiyo though, she stopped a hair away from his face. She sighed before she shot him in the face and pushed him off.

Korekiyo managed to cling onto a branch before lowering himself safely onto the ground.

"Guess it was a mistake that you found out that I like to hang around in trees," Tsuki said, swinging herself down onto the ground too.

"I didn't know you're good at shooting," Korekiyo smiled, not bothering to wipe of the paint that had stained his mask even though it was right bang in the middle, "I wonder what else you're capable of~" 

Tsuki shot him again on the forehead before walking off.

"Hey Kiibo, what do you think is the probability of us winning is?" Angie called out to Kiibo, taking forever to aim at Gonta before having to dive in a different direction as he aimed for her

"I don't know and I'm not bothered to find out," Kiibo called back, shooting Gonta on the chest, "Jesus! How many lives has this guy saved up?!"

"Don't say that name!" Angie snapped, becoming agitated and began shooting Gonta harder.

"I'm gonna kill you two!" Gonta shouted, shooting a pellet at Kiibo

"I'm counting on that," Kiibo replied, shooting another bullet at him before Gonta's gun went off

"Shit! You're gonna pay for that!" Gonta was about to hit Kiibo with the gun before Angie shot him on the neck

"Finally!" she said, "I got that shot!"

"Come on Tenko! Let's do this!" Himiko grinned, shooting at Kirumi

"I'm trying Himiko!" Tenko smiled back, shooting at Ryoma

"Let's give it everything we've got!" they both said at the same time before performing a lot of shooting combos on poor Kirumi and Ryoma before they were finally out

"We hope you enjoyed your little punishment!" Himiko and Tenko laughed, high fiving each other

"Come on Ryoma," Kirumi smiled softly at Ryoma before picking him up and carried him back to the shelter, wiping paint off his face

"What do I do? What do I do?" Tori chanted to himself, panicked as he tried to get away from Kaede and Shuichi who were chasing him like lions.

"What do I do?! What do I do?!" he kept chanting as he dodged past trees and tried to shoot back but failed

"WHAT DO I DO?!" he let out a little scream, closed his eyes, held his finger on the trigger and aimed for Kaede and Shuichi.

"SHUICHI! ARE YOU ALRIGHT?! ARE YOU HURT?!" Kaede screeched, dropping her gun that had gone off and rushed to Shuichi's side. Shuichi was okay, except about the fact he was covered in paint. But other than that, he was more or less okay.

"Did I do it?" Tori asked, slowly opening one eye before grinning and cheering, "I actually did it!"

His celebration was abruptly interrupted when Korekiyo shot him in the ribs, causing his gun to go off and him screaming in agony.

Then Tsuki came back to shoot Korekiyo on the head again, causing him to be eliminated and the first game was done.

"THAT WAS SO COOL!!!" Himiko shouted, eyes practically bulging as she jumped up and down, "TENKO AND I DID THIS AWESOME DANGANRONPA COMBO TOGETHER!!!" 

"Did someone say 'Danganronpa'?!" Shuichi perked up as Kaede was inspecting him for any injuries and shrieking when Shuichi was littered with bruises from Tori

"I got at least four bruises on the face because of someone," Kaito huffed

"You got lucky, my girl shot me five times on the face," Korekiyo chuckled before Tsuki punched him

"Baka, who ever said I was your girl?" she asked

"I had so much fun! Such a shame Rantaro and I were on different teams," Tsumugi commented

"But it was pretty cool. That's the most fun I've had in a while," Miu smiled

"Yeah, it was fun until I got shot in the ribs," Tori tried to laugh it off but winced and clutched his ribs

"APOLOGISE TO SHUICHI," Kaede boomed at him

"I'm so gonna kill you two," Gonta threatened Kiibo and Angie

"Go ahead, at least I'll die an atheist," Angie shrugged

"It's not like I would mean anything to anyone if you kill me," Kiibo snickered

"YOU GUYS ARE SO MEAN. EVERYONE WAS SHOOTING AT ME AND YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!" Kokichi whined, pulling up his sleeves so that everyone could see his bruises, if they couldn't already tell by his face

"You have to admit though, it is kinda funny," Ryoma covered his mouth so he couldn't laugh out loud

"That was so so so so so so fun! Can we do that again?" Maki asked

"No, I think I've had enough," Kirumi said

"Yeah, no offence Maki but I'm all worn out," Rantaro told her.

"Actually, you guys still have 4 hours of this," the instructor told them

"NANI?!"

The next few hours consisted of screams, yells, death threats, gun shots, cheers and bruises.

"That wasn't so bad," Tsuki admitted when everyone was walking out of the centre. Well, actually, they were all limping, except for her.

"Easy for you to say," Kaito growled, "All you did was hide and shoot us on the face! We didn't even know where you was hiding until the last few fucking minutes of the last fucking game!"

"Of all places, you had to go for the face," Kirumi sighed, wincing whenever she moved her head

"At first, it was nice being on your team. But then we started playing the Free-for-all games," Tori shuddered, recalling the memories

"I'm gonna wake up to my whole body being purple," Tsumugi commented

"Even the expensive toiletries I use won't be able to get the paint off my hair!" Rantaro exclaimed 

"You do realise that waking up to your whole body being purple is so unrealistic?" Angie stated

"You hurt Shuichi!" Kaede shouted, looking tempted to murder someone

"It's not a big deal," Shuichi sighed slightly but loving the attention Kaede was giving him

"Guys.... I don't feel too good..." Kokichi mumbled before collapsing
