Personally, it's all about the way you use it. I don't think it's wrong for straight people to say it if they're singing along to a song or something. Typically as long as they're not actively calling someone the word in a derogatory way I don't see a problem with it. Other than singing along to a song I'm not sure when that would be but y'all get my point lol

As for queer people, on one side of the internet they say only gay men should use it. On the other side any queer person can yell it at the top of their lungs. So what's our opinion?

Honestly? I really don't care. If a lesbian wants to say it, go right ahead. If a bisexual wants to say it, go right ahead. Hell, even if a straight person says it, as long as it's not in a derogatory way, go right ahead. Doesn't make me lose any sleep at night

Adding on to that, if the word was so harmful and offensive wouldn't it make sense to have it banned for everyone? Think about it, if it was truly that harmful, why should ANYONE be saying it? Like I said it doesn't make us lose any sleep nonetheless and that could just be our opinion idrk
