IN THE VAST EXPANSE OF SPACE

QUCIK NOTE:

Ok, so you guys are probably annoyed that I'm starting another story while so many others remain unfinished, but I had this great idea, and I can't stop thinking about it. So, I'm going to see how this goes. I don't know how long the story will be. It won't be as long as my previous Bellamy story, because this doesn't take place during a season. I just have never read or seen a Bellamy story that takes place on the Ark when he's a guard, so I figured it'd be cool to try it out. :) I hope you guys enjoy!

Here's a little teaser.

"Have you ever wondered why Bellamy is so...Bellamy?" Clarke asked Finn as she dressed his wound.

"You mean why he's such a moody asshole?"

Clarke laughed lightly, "Yeah, well it's because of a girl."

"A girl?"

Clarke nodded, "Her name was Harley Winters, and he loved her."

SUMMARY:

Harley Winters is in a relationship she just can't seem to get out of. Dating the Chancellor's son was something she did for her family; for her father. It meant that they were invited over for a good meal, thought higher of, and it even allowed her father to move up and get a better job. Now, they were even considered a privileged family and were doing better than they ever had before. But, the only problem was that she didn't love Wells Jaha. She tried to, but she just couldn't.

She began to think that maybe love was just nonexistent. Maybe it was all duty and loyalty.

Then, she meets Bellamy Blake, and her outlook on love changes completely.

But is her confusing attraction for Bellamy Blake more important than her loyalty to her father and to Wells?

She created a better life for herself and her father by pretending to love the Chancellor's son. Will she throw it all away for the handsome, adventurous guard that has quickly stolen her heart?
