I woke up to Caroline shaking me."Yes Caroline."I said sitting up."Elena texted me.She said she'll be here at 8 o'clock.What are we going to do?What if it's not the spell she wanted?What if the spell is not enough?"Caroline says in a panic."Care.Caroline look at me."I said putting my hands on her cheeks and turning her to face me."We are going to be fine.If any of those things happen I want you to hop out that window and run ok.You go to your house,pack your things and leave town."I said as calmly as possible."What about you?"She asked putting her hands on mine."I will find you ok.Just know that Elena won't hurt you."I calmly said as she nodded.I took my hands off her face and noticed the frown deepening on her face.I smiled at her and got up.I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth.I took a shower and put on a pair of jeans and a regular shirt.I walked out of the bathroom and let Caroline go into the bathroom.
I grabbed my grimoire and went over the spell again and again.This spell has to be enough.She can't hurt Caroline.Caroline came out of the bathroom and then there was a knock on the door.Both of our heads snapped to the clock on my nightstand.It says 7:42.She's too early.I looked at Caroline and saw the fear edged on her face.I got up and wiped her fallen tears away."It's going to be ok Care.Just open the window enough for you to go through.Remember what I said."I say to her and she nodded."Go to my house,pack my things and get out of mystic falls."She said and I hugged her.There was another knock on the door but it was much louder.Caroline jumped in fear and went to the window.I grabbed my grimoire and went out the door.I shut it and went downstairs.
I opened the door and standing there was Elena."Why didn't you answer the door the first time?"Elena asked storming into the house and slapping me on the back of my head."I was listening to music.It must have been loud."I said trying to hide my pain."Well don't let it happen again."Elena said and went to my living room.She must be in a bad mood."Do you have the spell?"She asked and I nodded."Well what are you waiting for,a marathon?Hurry up."She rushed and I opened the book to the correct page."Before I do anything I need you to tell me what you are planning to do with this?"I said and she stood up and walked in front of me.I looked up at her as she brought her hand under my chin."Why don't you just give me the spell and then you can mind your own business."She said and slapped me.My head whipped to the side and I was surprised I didn't get whiplash.I didn't give her the satisfaction of seeing me in pain.
"Caroline!Come down here!"Elena said moving away from me and going by the stairs.Caroline needs to run.Now."Caroline Forbes come down here now!"Elena yelled again more angry this time.She exhales deeply then starts up the stairs.I got up and moved to get upstairs when a shock ran through me.Oh can you stop with the electrocutions Elena.Then next thing I knew Caroline was tumbling down the stairs and Elena was standing over her punching her repeatedly.I moved to get up when I was shocked again and I fell to the floor in pain.
Caroline was dragged to the couch as far away from me as possible."Now I want you to do the spell on Caroline."Elena said standing in front of me."Why would I do that?It might kill her."I said and looked up at Elena.She grabbed me by my hair and pulled my head back so I can look at her."Because if you don't little Caroline over here is going to be punished and you don't want to know how."She said through gritted teeth.I looked at Caroline's shaking form.She was bruised all over and she looked at me with pleading eyes."But it could kill her,Elena please don't make-"I was cut off with Elena grabbed Caroline by her hair."Ok ok.I'll do it just...please let her go."I said looking up at her.She pushed Caroline back down on the couch and she whimpered quietly.
I gave Caroline one last look before preforming the spell.Caroline started withering in pain and was hyperventilating on the couch.She fell to the floor and started coughing up blood."I have to stop this!Please let me stop."I pleaded then Elena put her foot on Caroline's throat."Continue the spell."Elena said angrily."But it'll kill her."I said quietly and received a slap to the face.I continued the spell and Caroline started choking.Once the spell was over Caroline stopped moving.
"There now was that so hard?"Elena said smiling evilly."Care?"I said crouching next to her.I start shaking her but she still wouldn't wake up."Care.Caroline wake up.Wake up Caroline."I said shaking her vigorously."Please you have to wake up,Caroline.Wake up."I said as Elena's vicious laughs echoed through the house.I was pushed out of the way by Elena.She had a stake in her hand."Elena no.Please don't-"I was cut off by an electrocution.Elena raised the stake and I couldn't see where she put it.Elena walked away purposely stepping on my hand.She walked out the door and slammed it shut almost breaking it off it's hinges.
I went to Caroline's side and crouched down next to her."I'm sorry.I'm so sorry this happened to you.I should have been protecting you.I love you ok,now can you please wake up."I said grabbing her cold hand in mine.When she wouldn't wake up I put my head in my hands and started crying.A couple minutes later,I felt a hand on my cheek and looked down to see Caroline with a small smile on her face.
"Care."I say in disbelief and hugged her."I-I thought you were d-dead."I said into her shoulder."I was.The witches were just...giving me a pep talk."She said laughing a little."I love you Caroline.There I said it.I.Love.You.I'm sorry I didn't tell you before it's just-"I was cut off by her kissing me.She actually kissed me."We need to leave."Said caroline once we pulled apart."How she always ends up finding us?"I asked her."She won't this time.I promise."She said and hugged me."When do we leave?"I asked her."Tonight.We are going to have to make some sort of schedule if we want to get out quickly."Caroline said and I yawned."You go get to bed.I'll clean up in here."Caroline says and I looked up at her questionably."Are you sure?"I asked her and she nodded."I'll be fine,Bonnie.Just go to bed."She said as she lifted both of us off the ground.
I walked up to my room and open the door.I put on my nightclothes and got into bed.I pulled the covers up to my shoulders and put my head on the pillow.I tried falling asleep but I couldn't.No matter how hard I tried I couldn't go to sleep.I got up from the bed and went down the stairs.I saw Caroline picking up the broken pieces of glass that happened when she fell on the ground.I walked to her bad helped her pick up the glass."It's ok.I got it."Caroline said and looked up at her."It's fine,Care.I can't sleep anyway."I said and sighed.We put the glass in the garbage and cleaned the blood off the floor."So am I human now?"Says caroline as we walked into my room."I don't know Caroline."I admitted and sat on the bed.She sat on the bed with me and got under the covers.I scooted closer to her and my eyes started to get droopy.I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

I heard Bonnie's even breaths and knew she fell asleep.I got up from the bed and went to Bonnie's closet then I got out her suitcase and opened it.I packed all of her clothes and belongings I know she wouldn't leave and I put her suitcase by the door and walked downstairs.I walked to my house and went to my room and I packed all my necessary stuff(Clothes,toothbrush,things from my dad etc.) and walked downstairs.I walked back to Bonnie's house and opened the door.I walked to her room and put my suitcase by Bonnie's.I walked to the window and started to take off my daylight ring.I didn't burn like I was suppose to.So I'm not a vampire anymore.Just human.The weird thing about it is that I was happy.I could be human again,I could have children.I could grow old with the one I loved.I set the timer on my phone and got into the bed and fell asleep.
