Bonnie p.o.v
I was listening to music on my iPod that Elena allowed me to get,when there was a knock on the door.I got up from my bed and went down the stairs of the quiet household,and opened the door.Standing at the doorway of my house was my crying best friend,Caroline Forbes.She had a huge bruise on the side of her face."Care what happened?"I asked pulling her gently into the house."It-It was Elena.I tried...I tried standing up to her...but she was to strong.She put vervain in my system and she-she did this."Was her heartbreaking reply."Come on let's get you cleaned up."I said helping her stand up.I took her to my room and cleaned then bandaged all of her cuts and bruises.I laid her down and put the covers over her."I'm going to kill her for this."I muttered to Caroline and got up.I felt her grab my arm and look back at her."Don't.Bonnie you'll get hurt for this."She pleaded sadly."I don't care,she hurt you and now she has to pay."I said trying to pull my arm away."No.Bonnie promise me you won't go after her."She said weakly.The vervain was still in her system."Promise me Bonnie."Caroline said trying to stay awake."I promise Caroline.I won't go after her.You just get some rest."I said and her grip loosened on my arm.She fell asleep and I waited a couple seconds before closing the door quietly.
Now you must be thinking:why would you want to hurt Elena if she's your best friend?Well she was our best friend...for the first week when we all turned 13.Then she started hurting us.First it was just tiny threats.Then it was yelling.Then it turned to small unnoticed bruises.Then it became hits and beatings.I became more protective of Caroline.She's like my younger sister and I don't know what I would do without her.Did I mention the small crush I have on Caroline?No.Ok well I have a crush on Caroline Forbes but she doesn't feel the same.At least I think she doesn't.
There was another knock on the door.I looked through the peak hole but couldn't see anything.I opened the door and saw Elena.I tried closing the door but she came through it."Where is she?"Elena asked angrily."I don't know what you're talking about,Elena."Was my reply.I knew who she was talking about.She was talking about Caroline,but she couldn't get her.She won't hurt her."Please Bonnie.Just tell me where Caroline is?"She pleaded.Now she's playing nice.I fell for it once and it got both of us hurt.Not this time.Not ever again."I'm sorry Elena,but I don't know where she is."I lied trying to keep calm.I received a slap to the face.I fell to the floor with a stinging pain in my cheek.It would leave a bruise in the morning."I tried to be nice Bonnie now where is she?"Elena maniacally said,crouching down next to me and grabbing my throat."I'll...never tell...you."I wheezed out."Bonnie."I heard Caroline say.I froze.She'll catch her now."You lied to me."Elena said as she digs her nails in my throat."Caroline run!"I said trying to get her hand off my throat.
Caroline came down the stairs and Elena pushed me away.She takes her hand off my throat and went to Caroline.When she saw Elena her eyes widened and she turned around to run but Elena caught her and pushed her to the ground.I couldn't move.I couldn't get to her in time.The fall opened up old cuts and I was losing a lot of blood.All I heard were Caroline's muffled screams of pain and the sound of something hitting her.It was a belt.Elena was hitting Caroline with a belt.I turned over onto my stomach and tried to get to them but I was too weak to move.My vision was blurred,my body hurts.I couldn't do anything."Bonnie...help me!"Was the last thing I heard before I passed out.
*A couple hours later*
I woke up to see Caroline tied to a chair,struggling to get out.I looked around to see I was on my bed.I moved to sit up but was pushed back down by hands on my shoulders,so I looked behind me to see Elena."Here's what I want you to do.I want you to find a spell to take away vampirism."She said lowly while I struggle to get out of her grip."Why would I do that for you?"I said and received a smack to the back of my head.I winced a little,hoping that she wouldn't see.It would just give her more power."You are going to do it."She said and moved over to caroline."And if you don't little Caroline over here is going to get punished really badly."Elena said trailing her fingers over Caroline's shoulder.I could see the fear in Caroline's eyes.She struggled to get out of the vervain the ropes.She screamed but the screams were muffled by the cloth tied around her mouth.I moved to get up but felt a stinging pain go through me.It felt like I was being electrocuted.The pain stopped and I looked up to see Elena with a smug smirk on her face."What did you do?"I asked taking deep breaths through my nose."Oh nothing but a little...shock if you disobey me."Elena said laughing evilly."You little-"I was cut off by another electrocution.I groaned and shut my eyes wanting the pain to be over.'Now's not the time to think for yourself.Think about Caroline.'I thought."What do you want me to do."I said opening my eyes,trying not to move."Find a spell to take away vampirism."Elena said and I looked at Caroline.She was crying,she had bruises all over her face.I have to do this.I have to protect her."Fine."I said through gritted teeth."I want it by tomorrow.If I don't have it,both of you will suffer the consequences."Elena said and left.
I got up and ran over to Caroline.I untied her and she fell to the floor.I crouched down next to her and she hugged me.I hugged her back and let her cry on my shoulder."It's ok.You're safe now.She's not going to hurt you as long as I'm around."I said soothingly."I was-I was so scared.She d-did things to-to me...things I-I didn't want-want to d-do."Caroline said in between her cries and sniffles."It's alright Caroline.It's all going to be fine."I said as she clings to me."You p-promise,Bonnie?"She whispered in my ear."I promise."I said as she pulled away from me."Can I stay with you tonight?"She asked as we got off the floor."Yeah.It's fine with me."I said and she hugged me again."Thanks Bonnie,you're the best."She said and went into the bathroom.I walked to my closet and got out my spell book.I sat on my bed and looked through it trying to find whatever Elena was looking for.I couldn't find the spell.There was no spell or enchantment I could do to stop vampirism.I looked over and over again but still couldn't find it.It has to be in here.It just has to.
Caroline p.o.v
I walked out of the bathroom and found Bonnie searching through her grimoire with a frustrated face.I walked up to her and put my hand on her shoulder."Bonnie."I said softly.She turned around to face me."I can't find it Caroline.Now she'll hurt you."She said sadly.I know she was doing this for me not to get in trouble with Elena but I was use to it."I don't care Bonnie.As long as we're alive it doesn't matter."I said sitting next to her.Did I forget to mention I have a tiny crush on Bonnie.No well I do,but I know she will never feel the same way."I can't let her hurt you Care.You're the only good thing I have in my life right now."She says as she grabs my cold hand in her warm one."It doesn't matter,Bonnie.She might forget by tomorrow.If she doesn't we will think of something before she comes."I said squeezing her hand lightly."Can I borrow some of your nightclothes?"I asked her.She nodded and I walked to her nightstand and grabbed some of her nightclothes.I walked into the bathroom and changed into the oversized shirt and short shorts.The shorts revealed the scars and bruises from Elena.You remember the things I said Elena did to me.Well this was those things.She raped me while Bonnie was still unconscious.
I walked out of the bathroom and sat on the bed with Bonnie.Bonnie got up and went to the door but I stopped her."Where are you going?"I asked her and she turned around."To sleep on the couch."She said pointing to the door."Can you sleep in here...with me?I don't want to be alone."I say in a small voice.She sighed and got into the bed with me.She pulled the cover over us and fell asleep quickly.I got out the bed and grabbed my phone.I took the tracking device out of mine and Bonnie's phone.Elena put it in when me and Bonnie tried to run once.I smashed them before the red light flashes.Everything I try to take them out I have 5.2 seconds before it alerts Elena and then both Bonnie and I get in trouble.I grabbed Bonnie grimoire and looked through it trying to find the spell.I couldn't let Bonnie get hurt.I found something that looked like what Elena was asking for.I wrote down the page number on my hand and went back over to Bonnie.I shook her lightly and she opened her eyes."Yes care."She said in a tired voice."I think I found it.I found the spell."I said quietly and she got out of the bed."You found it?"She asked walking over to the grimoire.I nodded and she turned around and hugged me."Thank you so much,caroline.You're the best."She says and I hugged her back."You're welcome."I said letting go of her small form.I sat on the bed and pulled my knees to my chest."Why do you think she wants the spell?"I asked Bonnie."I don't know.Lets just hope it's for something good."She answered looking down at the large book."What if the spell doesn't work,Bonnie.What will she do to us?"I asked in a frightened voice.She sighed and walked over to me.She sat on the bad and side-hugged me."You have to have faith,Caroline.You can't think of the bad things.Try to think of the good ones."Bonnie said calming me down a bit."Why can't we just leave?"I asked looking at her.She was getting taller than me by a little bit."Elena put the tracking device in our phones remember."Bonnie said and I sighed."Actually...I took them out."I said putting my head down.I felt her hug me.I was shocked but hugged back."I thought you were going to be mad at me."I said as we pulled apart."Why would I do that?"She asked."Because I would have got both of us in trouble if I wasn't fast enough to get rid of them."I admitted sadly."I don't care if you were to slow,you're my best friend and you did something good by trying."Bonnie said putting her hands on my shoulders."Really.Now you get some rest.It's late and way past your bedtime."She said playfully."Yes mom."I said back while laughing and got under the covers."Night,B."I said and started to close my eyes."Night Care."I heard her say before I fell asleep.Before I fell asleep I heard something that will change my life forever.Maybe."I love you."I heard Bonnie say.Was she talking to me?I hope she was.Oh who am I kidding?She never felt the same way.I felt someone kiss my forehead and turned over on my other side.It must have been Bonnie.She's the only person in this room.I should just go to sleep.Yeah sleep is good.I finally let sleep overtake me.

I memorized the spell Caroline found and sighed.I just said 'I love you' to the one person who thinks of me as her sister.I put on my nightclothes the got into the bed.I got under the covers and fell asleep.
