I feel like I'm dead

All this moving in is really taking its toll.

Especially since it's incognito

I feel like 007, if 007 was a woman who had an existential crisis in the middle of her kitchen floor because she couldn't decide where the bowl of fake fruit should go.

Then she questions why she bought fake fruit.

Then she sobs uncontrollably about said fake fruit until she eventually realizes that she got it as a gift and regrets her choices.

And now the wood floor has tears on it.

Yeah my life is weird...

Anyways

I finally finished arranging my house the way I wanted and organizing my gaming devices.

Technology is complicated sometimes.

I'm slowly awaiting the moment when someone comes over to greet me cause I'm the new neighbor.

DING DONG

"Shit what?!"

I said, barely sitting down on my couch before getting up straight back up.

I opened the door to find none other than Aph with a huge plate of cookies,  who smiled bright as soon as she noticed it was me.

"Oh my Irene!! Y/n! I had no idea you lived in the neighborhood."
"I moved in just last week, I haven't totally settled yet. Come in!"

I invited her in the house, she admired the Feng shui.

"So Y/n, is Zane gonna move in with you?"
"Uhmmmm."

I blushed profoundly, covering my cheeks before thinking about my answer.

"If he wants to.."
"Aww. Y/n... that's so cute!"
"S-shut up! You're still unable to sleep in the same bed as Aaron and you've been dating for almost a year!!"
"Hey!"

We both blushed and sighed, I sat back on the couch and laughed a bit.

"I guess I'm shy when it comes to him."

I reluctantly surrendered, hugging a pillow. Aph ruffled my hair, crossing her legs and offering me a cookie. I took it and ate.

"Are these from subway?"
"Yea, Aaron bought them."
"They're good."

I grinned.

Aph suddenly clasped my hands in hers.

"I'm gonna invite him over!!"
"W-what? No- Aph!"

I was cut off by her racing outside, not even bothering to close my door.

"Aphmau..."

I mumbled, slumping back on the couch.

I had a whole thing planned.

I was gonna invite Laurance and Garroth over and-

Never mind I guess

"Ugh.. Aphmau I don't need to make anymore friends. I have you and Kawaii Chan, plus Y/n, I'm content!"
"Shhhh!! It's gonna be good!"

I heard raspy complaints and a jumpy reply come from outside my house, through my open door. I sat up and brushed my hair aside as Zane walked in.

"Y-Y/n?! You live here?"
"Yea. It was a surprise. Surprise!"

I said, jumping up into the air and throwing invisible confetti. Zane stood back, stunned, then raced over to me.

"You moron.. don't keep secrets from me."

He whispered, gently picking me up and twirling around. My legs wrapped around his waist. I felt a bit taller as he stood still, staring deeply into my eyes.

"I promise this was the last one."

I giggled, before he placed his soft lips on mine.

Aph left, closing the door behind her to give us some privacy.

"Cupcake, tell me, how did you get your parents to let you move here?"
"I forgot about that nickname."

I sighed, relaxing back on the couch with my boyfriend. He rolled his eyes out of his skull.

"Alright, I told my mom about my depression and the reason behind it, so she finally saw some growth in me. She was just afraid of losing me, so I told her I wasn't going to give up."

I smiled confidently at the ground.

"I don't think anyone should give up."

Mumbling softly, Zane moved onto my side of the couch and enclosed his arms around me. I blushed, his lips pressing into my back.

"Don't give up, for me."

I could feel myself tense up as he nestled his head on my shoulder, purring in my ear. The blush that cascaded down my cheeks got redder with every breath down my neck.

"S-since when did you get so lovey-dovey?"
"Since you opened up to me."

Zane replied, pressing his nose into my neck and gently kissing there. I covered my face, embarrassed that we were alone.

But I wasn't too embarrassed.

"I want more of that. I want you to trust me."
"I trust you, muffin."
"Gah! That name..."

He fell back on the couch, faking his own death.

"I died, you're too cute."

He said, smirking up at me. I instantly plummeted into a pillow, hiding my scarlet face from the world. He lied on top of me, poking my ear.

"Y/n..."
"Is this what it's gonna be like everyday?"
"Hmm?"

I raised my head up, rubbing my face.

"I was gonna ask you to move in with me, but I'm having some second thoughts."
"W-what?!"

This time, Zane's face was as red as a cherry.

"Moving in?! With you? Living alone with you without Laurance or Garroth? Is this a dream?"

He reached out his arm and placed it in my hand.

"Pinch me."

I have his arm a squeeze, he winced, but smiled wide at me.

"I'm not dreaming. You're asking me to live with you?"

Zane asked once again, I rolled my eyes and nodded.

"Yeah! I'll totally do- I mean.."

He cleared his throat.

"I'll move in with you, Y/n.."

We both smiled, he leaned in and kissed my cheek before a text interrupted us.

"Dammit. Garroth wants me back for dinner. I'll get all my things packed and I'll move in tomorrow, okay?"
"Alright."

I watched as he left the house, blowing a kiss to me and closing the door behind him.

I fell back into the couch and hugged my pillow close, feeling nothing but absolute love for this guy.

"My Zane.."

I mumbled lovingly, closing my eyes.

"He's moving in with me."

I covered myself in a blanket.

"And I'll spend every minute with him."

My blush finally disappeared.

Before I came to the shocking conclusion.

"Oh no."

I said, realizing what I've done.

"My dad is gonna kill me.."

When I get Sun and Moon, I'll be releasing my schedule so I can update while I play so I can have time off the books.
