Two-Bit's P.O.V.

I threw Maddie into a bush as my gang showed up. They checked to see if I was ok, one of them had to see Maddie.

"Two are you ok?" Darry asked. He was the first to speak. "I'm fine Darry." I say. He nodded. I know he didn't believe a word I just said but at least he nodded. Then they went back home knowing that I'm ok.

"Are they gone yet two?" Maddie asks. Her voice is so soft and gentle. I smile and help her out of the bush. "Sorry for pushing you into a bush Maddie." I say. I blush apologizing to her. She blushed to. "So you want to meet my gang?" I ask her. She shook her head no. "I gotta get home before dark. If I don't Randy will kill me." She said. I nodded.

Unknown P.O.V.

Maddie and I were walking hand and hand to the Curtis' house. She was  about to wave me off when the door swung open revealing a furious Darry...crap...

Maddie hid behind me afraid. "Two-Bit who is this?" Asked Darry, with his arms crossed. He had a deadly look on his face. "Should I go?" Maddie asked. "Yes you should." Shot back Darry, then Maddie flinched at his tone. I shot Darry a glare, but he didn't seem to mind my glare.

"Well, what if I don't want to." Maddie said. For a girl she was pretty fierce. "Then you'll have to deal with me." Sneered Darry, then he kept his face full of death. "But a boy can't hit a girl, my mama told me that. Because if a boy hits a girl then the girl has the righter way." Maddie said with a glare.

"Well did your 'mama'..." Him putting quotes on mama. "Tell you if a girl doesn't get off a mans property the man has the right to kick them off themselves." Shot back Darry, with a glare to.

"She did. And therefore, before this actually gets physical and a man gets beat the hell up by a girl, I'll leave. Thank you very much." She leaves off the property. "Now that I'm off I have the righter way of you hit me you jackass!" She growled walking away. Darry slams the door shut.

"Your a jerk." I sneered at Darry, then he scoffed letting me in. "Wasn't asking what you thought of me." Mumbled Darry, then I plopped into the couch. All I hope for now is that Maddie gets home safe.
