Scrolling through my messages, I saw Farida's message "hey admission is out , did you check yours" . she send me a portal. I am so fervent to check mine, I filled every space and open it.

          I almost scream I was given admission to study pharmacy in ABU Zaria. Without wasting time, I perform ablution and pray two raka'ats.

           I went to Umma's room "Umma an bani admission" (I was given admission) i said jumping on her "Masha Allah I know you will make it am proud of you" she said hugging me.

           I turn and saw Adda Nusee sitting at the extreme end of the bed "Congrats za'a zama freshers" She said smiling "yeah" I said because I notice she's sullen so I just let her be.

           I went to dads room and found him reading magazine. I salamed and enter the room "Dad" I said sitting next to him.

          "Safeeya how are you" I asked keeping the magazine"I'm fine dad" I said adjusting my sitting position "Dama am here to tell you that I was given admission" I said side hugging him "Masha Allah I'm proud of you mommy" he said hugging me  back "I know you can make it" he said.

          
          I rushed to my brothers side and also inform them about the good news and they all congratulate me. I called Khadija and Fareeda  immediately and told them about it they are also happy.

         Fareeda applied for Biochem in BUK while Khadija applied for Chemistry in KSU. I'm even more close to Khadija than to Fareeda but anyway we are still three best friends.

        I have been smiling non stop since I check my admission,I'm so happy. "What if we arrange walimah for your admission" Adda Nusee suggest "yeah good idea,but when" I asked "maybe tomorrow evening" she said "OK I will also inform Khadi and Faridoo" I said "they should come early for the food preparation" she said "I will inform them right away".

           I said picking my phone and dialed Khadi's number first "hey why are you disturbing someone's peace" came her voice, she must be sleeping "There will be walimah tomorrow, you should come early because of food preparations" I said "I will be there insha Allah" she said "bye before you skin me alive" I said "bye my regard to Adda Nusee and Zara" she said "my regards to your dreamy future..." She hang up because she know what I'm going to say.   

         I also call Faridoo and told her about the walimah which she also promised to come.

        I want to post about me getting admission when I remember what mom use to tell us "you have to chose what to post,not all people mean good and some only pretend to be friend but deep inside them they didn't like you". I decide not to post it.

         I started thinking about university life how I'm going to leave my family and start a new life with new set of people and a different environment.

          I wake up around Magrib, I don't know I slept off. I went to the bathroom after I'm done with my business I went to the kitchen where all the family members are there well expect for dad and Umma.

           I walked in and sit next Hamma Farouk " My sleeping beauty" Hamma Khaleel teased "ta tsaya tana barci lets see if you go to school you will continue sleeping like a Python" Adda Nusee said rolling her eyes "and who are you calling a Python hope it's not my princess" Hamma Khaleel said looking at her "Oho de since you are not following her to the school ai" she said "of course I will follow her right" he said looking  at me "yeah" I said and we shake hands "you guys are annoying" Adda Nusee said "the only person that is annoying is Mubarak" Hamma Khaleel said give up and didn't reply.

         Well Adda Nusee's  boyfriend  Mubarak sent his uncle's to ask for adda's hand in marriage, she's so happy. Everything is done and she will be Mrs in less than a year. She show me his pictures he is the same guy Zara show me the pic she took. He is handsome and the got the money also. I speak to him trice, from what I know, he is nice and like cracking jocks, he is funny.

       The boys went for the mosque while we went to our room and pray . After dinner, we prayed Isha and decided to watch a movie. The boys suggest we watch Veronica which is the daunted film that only 5% of people can watch it. I am scared so does Zarah and Adda Nusee but they said it's compulsory and non of us is leaving.

            We start watching the film pass 10:00 and what deter me most is that it's based on true life story, I watch the film but most of the time my eyes are closed and when the evil spirit came or something scary, we will screech and hug each other but they still said we have to finish the film.

          We finish the film mid night and I cant sleep thinking of the film.

         I wake up around 5:40am and pray I don't even know how I slept yesterday. I went to my bed and continue sleeping.

          "Wai mutum yayi ta barci kamar gawa" I heard a voice yelling at me. I leisurely open my eyes and saw Khadi her hands on her waist as if she's ready to fight. "Kai dan Allah" I said sitting down "ashe ba dadi that's your habit waking me up from my sleep rainin wayo or did you think I like been waked up" she said sitting next to me "you are the most unserious  human being I have ever known" she said eying me "what did I do this time" I innocently asked "see this goat over here asking me what she did after all she invite me to a walimah and I found her sleeping and she is  even asking me what she did" she said throwing her hand in the air dramatic "sorry" I said "you better be" she said rolling her eyes "so are you sitting there all day" she said "kai masifar ki yayi yawa toh  I'm coming" I said standing up.

         I met them in the kitchen deciding what to cook "lets just cook some Samosa, Spring rolls, Shawarma I think it's OK" Adda Nusee said "what of chocolate cupcakes" I asked "OK but you are doing it" she said "no problem" I said because I like doing cupcakes.

        Within short period of time, every thing is nearly done "I'm hungry" I said holding my stomach "you have to be hungry did you even eat breakfast" Adda asked what I forgot about breakfast "no" I said "don't get something and eat stand there looking at me like ghost" Adda said looking at me. I didn't reply, I open the warmer and found chips, I dug my hands and start eating. I ate all the chips within 10minutes, I picked a chill Pepsi and drank it.

        "Hey your cupcake is done" Farido said. I remove the cupcakes from the oven and keep them in the kitchen counter.

        Everything is done before four o'clock. We arrange the dining and went upstairs to fresh up. I dressed in an ash and dark blue off shoulder gown, Khadi tie my scarf into a style that I don't even know the name but it look beautiful. They all  dressed in a gown including Adda and Zarah .

        We made our selves comfortable on the long dining table. I sat in between Fareeda and Khadija and in no time, we ate our food but not before we prayed for the best in my school activities.

         "Who made this Samosa?" Hamma Farouk asked "Fareeda," I said "You are a good chef" he said giving her a thump up "thanks" she said hiding her face. I wonder what is between them but time will soon reveil.

        After we are done eating, Hamma Farouk bought us some ice cream which we ate with the cupcakes. It's really good having them around.

       After Magrib, Hamma Farouk drop Fareeda and Khadija at home.

Finally I update, I will updating frequently insha Allah.
