Goddess.

The five known races in the country of Britannia. These races became clans. Each clan having leaders, armies and territories. These clans once got along for many long years. Each at peace with small arguments here and there but one day the Demon and Goddess clan started a horrid war. This war was later known as 'The Holy War'. This war pulled the other clans in, forcing them into the bloody fights and forced many to pick sides. This war later ended with all races near genocide. The war soon started a law.

This law had forbidden any Goddesses or Demons from falling in love, being friends or letting anyone truly making peace once more. After many years or many wars, fights and bloodshed there was a Demon and Goddess. The Crowned Demon Prince Meliodas and The Blessed Goddess Elizabeth. Both these people were fed up with the pointless fighting and deaths. Both wanted peace throughout all the clans of Britannia. This was the most unpopular opinion known throughout the country. 

Soon as the two met on the battlefield the Demon Prince was in shock to find the Goddess defending and saving Demon Children from her own clan and people. The Prince heard her words about how children were innocents in all this war. The Goddesses with her on battlefield turned their weapons toward her. The Goddess wasn't afraid of her people rushing at her will bloodlust, she only wanted to buy the children time to get to safety. That was when the Prince moved fast saving the Goddess by killing the people that turned their weapons to her. 

As the Demon Prince spoke to the Goddess, that moment he noticed she wasn't scared of him just as she wasn't scared of dying. That was when he took her back to his clan for her to find out about his status. As Meliodas kept her as a pet in the castle they two became friends but soon behind closed doors, the two became lovers. When the Goddess clan came to the Demon Castle they were demanding the return of Elizabeth but known to both clans both Meliodas and Elizabeth had run away and eloped.

This caused the leader of the Demon Clan, The Demon King and the leader of the Goddess Clan, The Supreme Deity, both started another Holy War and cursed Meliodas and Elizabeth for breaking the law they created. They were cursed with immortality, pain and suffering. Both Meliodas and Elizabeth only grew closer with this curse placed upon them. 3,000 years after the second Holy War the two were still together, happy just to be with each other. Both always in hiding and on the run from both Goddess and Demon Clans. 

Meliodas would once and awhile leave Elizabeth's side in which he gained curses for parts of their curse. The only thing left was the fact neither of them could age or truly die. While on the hunt for the cure to their immorality, Meliodas had joined the Human Clan's kingdom known as Liones. He was the Captain of the most powerful fighters known, The Seven Deadly Sins. Though no one knew of the fact he was a Demon they all got along great, fighting alongside each other. Though it wasn't long until another war burst out.

Goddesses dragging the other races in to join forces to stop the Demon Clan. Meliodas was forced to fight alongside the others and soon faced his own father in battle. Meliodas had no choice but to fight his father head-on, without his armour to hide his identity. He went full out showing every one of each clan his Demonic Side. With the memories of his time with his wife, with the fact he knew she was waiting for him to come home, it stopped him from losing control of his rage and power. In the deadly fight, Meliodas was about to send The Demon King to purgatory.

Meliodas was able to make it look as if he sacrificed his own life to do this or if he was dragged to purgatory alongside his father. The truth was he had returned to his wife's side for good. Though he was unable to cure their immorality, she was happy just to see he was safe and home. Thanks to Meliodas peace ruled out throughout the country. Demons and Goddesses not speaking or going near each other but finally no longer causing problems. After two years Meliodas and Elizabeth were side by side, leaders of a small town at the borderline between the Human and Demon clan territory.

Both were happy together, hearing many versions of the story about Meliodas saving everyone by fighting his father. No one ever finding out the truth about Meliodas or Elizabeth. As time went by it wasn't long until danger started to lurk around once again, another war just around the corner...
