~Elizabeth's Pov~ 

I woke up the next day to find myself snuggled up to Meliodas who was fast asleep. His arm around me, holding me close to him. My head and hand on his chest. I only smiled, laying there a little longer. I was wearing one of his white shirts and some underwear bottoms. Meliodas was mumbling under his breath in his sleep as I closed my eyes slowly. Enjoying the moment. One time we rarely had these moments. One time we had to be quiet and hide how we felt, sneaking around the Demon Castle to have small moments. 

To protect me, Meliodas claimed me as a 'pet' at first that was all I was. He was curious about me back then. He would've me locked in his room but when I was out of it, I always had to be by his side, not allowed to speak to anyone without his permission. As time went on we became friends. I saw who he really was on the inside. He was forced to act harsh, cold and mean to impress his father and teacher. Everyone even the two who he was trying to impress was scared of him. They all were. He informed me many times I was the first to not fear him or want to use him. 

He was in shock when I informed him that being his 'pet' gained people to really care about me instead of faking. When I informed him that he was the first who didn't want to use me to gain power like others had done. We learnt both Demons and Goddesses are not so different. After we found out that and more about each other it wasn't long until Meliodas would pin me to walls, tease by going close to my face as if he is about to kiss me then move away, watching me more and many other signs. I was such a dense idiot back then. 

Somehow I was unable to see his feelings for me because I was too busy trying to hide my own. It was a night after a ball we finally admitted our feelings. The ball was to find the three Demon princes a lady to marry. Meliodas had left early in rage. I was confused as I welcomed him back when he came into the room. The first thing he did was pin me to a wall and into a kiss. Parts of me did change that night. Mostly because that kiss did lead to our first time having sex. Back then my old wings would be annoying when came to things like sex.

After being cursed and officially kicked out the Goddess Clan, also becoming wanted, I got rid of my wings. I was able to summon them back but I never wanted them back. I was able to fly without them and still use my Goddess powers perfectly fine. I didn't see the point in bringing them back. I soon opened my eyes knowing we had to open the tavern soon. Meliodas had stopped mumbling as his head was now facing my way, still fast asleep as normal. I smiled at him not wanting to move. 

I sat up letting out a small yawn as the sunlight was coming from the corner of the curtain. I moved Meliodas's arm without waking him before getting out of bed. My legs hurting slightly from a night full of sex. With us both being immortal along with the race of a Demon and Goddess, sex was a lot longer than normal people would have. I moved around the room picking up the clothes we were wearing yesterday, then placed them in the washing basket for me to clean later. After that, I got some clothes before heading to the bathroom. 

I took a quick bath to help numb some of the leg pain then got out and changed into a buttoned, high collar, white shirt with a dark red ribbon around my neck, the shirt exposed my belly and belly button, with a white mini skirt strapped with a dark red belt, along with a white stockings and lastly small heel dolly shoes, both being dark red to match. As I left the bathroom, I checked on Meliodas to see him still fast asleep. I laughed slightly before heading to Hawk's room to see it empty. I only smiled heading off to the bar downstairs. 

Once there I saw Hawk shouting 'good morning' toward me from the other side of the room. I giggled and replied with 'good morning' as I noticed the shopping had been put away. "Meliodas woke up really and I mean really early putting it all away for you" Hawk soon informed me as it only made me smile brightly. Hawk was soon commenting on the fact that myself and Meliodas were very close and the fact we did whatever we could to help each other. I soon got everything ready before heading to the door unlock and putting the 'open' sign in the window before opening the door. 

Standing there was the village watcher Malcolm. He was taller than both me and Meliodas, he was very skinny wearing brown leather armour. His long, messy, black hair was blowing in the wind. "Mrs B, we got guests at the gate" he spoke sounding worried as I raised an eyebrow. We rarely got guests in town. When we did get some it was bandits or raiders. The towns members called me 'Mrs B' and called Meliodas 'Boss'. It was very different to hear but I got used to it. "What kind of guests?" I asked while hearing Hawk's trotters moving behind me.

"Holy Knights and Camelot's right hand Lady Merlin!" Malcolm answered as Hawk was in shock along with myself. Lady Merlin. I had heard stories about her. The so-called 'Greatest Mage In Britannia'. The stories reminded me of the adoptive younger sister who I took in long ago. Then again after this many years, she should've passed away by now. I was more confused on why Camelot's right hand and most powerful doing in a small town like this. "Alright, Malcolm would you bring them here?" I asked nicely as I heard Hawk shout 'what' behind me in utter shock.

Malcolm nodded and ran off before I closed the door, walking off toward the bar. Hawk was asking question after question. The message and main question was clear, 'are you crazy'? That was something asked of me quite a lot. "Hawk, would you hide behind the bar until needed? Most people freak out you can talk at first" I soon asked as he sighed nodding and moving to where I asked. I grabbed a cloth cleaning the bar top and humming. Hawk was laying on the ground near by reminding me that I was 'out of my mind'.

It only made me laugh. Some minutes later Malcolm returned, bringing in six people. I looked at them all smiling. "Welcome to The Boar Hat" I spoke in a friendly tone as one of the six people was staring at me with widened eyes. A male whispering to her worried while the others were looking at them both confused. "Malcolm, you are sure these are Holy Knights? Last I heard they weren't quiet and shy" I soon asked as he nodded fast saying he was telling the 'truth'. That was when a girl in twin tails came forward.

"Of course we are Holy Knights. We have orders from King Arthur!" she nearly shouted as I leaned forward onto the bar. I only slowly nodded my head not fully believing her. I soon sighed asking Malcolm to leave. He was rushing out the door fast. "I'm Elizabeth Boar. I'm mayor of the town, how can I help Holy Knights?" I then asked as the girl who spoke before introduced herself and the people she was with. The names were sounding familiar somewhere. I was unable to put my finger on it. 

If they were Holy Knights there was a high chance of Meliodas knowing them and I heard stories from him. "We are looking for a certain sword you see" King spoke floating in the air, hugging a green pillow. I only raised an eyebrow confused. Replying with 'a sword?' in a confused tone. Ban rolled his eyes while Gowther came forward. "The sword is called Lostvayne a very powerful and deadly weapon. It's a curved shortsword with the Dragon tattoo emblem into its hilt and five holes along the sharp blade" Gowther explained.

I only closed my eyes fast. That was Meliodas's sword. I was confused on why they wanted it or how they even found out it was here. I was wondering why they were after one of the seven Sacred Treasures that I created long ago for Melodias. I gave out a hum acting as if I was thinking. "Not seen that type of sword in town before" I lied opening my eyes as the group of six people were looking toward each it, whispering once and awhile. If I had known they were after Meliodas and the sword I wouldn't of let them in our home. 

"We don't have many weapons nor have many who can use them here. We only just get by with all the raiders and bandit camps nearby" I soon added standing up straight, crossing my hands under my chest. Giving off a 'sorry' while doing so. It was easy to see none of them was believing me. I wasn't the best lair in the world. Meliodas was better at doing that. "Look, many people come and go between the Demon and Human territories alright. We have been attacked who know how many times. Maybe a bandit or raider has it" I soon made up on the spot.

Ban moved forward, moving to be right in front of me. I heard King and Diane snapping at him not to cause trouble. "What ya serve?" Ban asked as I pulled a menu out from under the bar, passing it to him. He soon noticed Hawk. He soon asked if he was my pet, causing Hawk to start shouting toward him. "PET!?!? HOW DARE YOU! YOU DAMN WELL UGLY ASS HUMAN SHIT!" Hawk snapped, shouting loudly as he could as I sighed, sweatdropping. The six people in front of me were in utter shock while I looked at him.

"I asked you to keep quiet and hide Hawk!" I snapped as he sweatdropped, whispering about how he was sorry. Ban soon jumped over the bar over to Hawk shouting about how he was 'cool'. I was confused and shocked as Ban was freaking out over Hawk who was liking the attention like always. "He...always like that?" I asked looking at the others who sighed nodding. Merlin finally moving forward to speak for herself. Her eyes reminding me of many people from my past. Golden eyes were so beautiful after all.

I knew many people with them. "We will be staying awhile to investigate if that's alright" Merlin spoke as I sighed, my arms dropping to hang down. Meliodas wasn't going to be happy with this at all. "And what does that really mean? Raiding through the town?" I asked harshly getting everyone around us to freeze up, watching in fear and silence. Merlin only gave off a cocky laugh. She was a lot harder to read than I first thought. This was a pain in the ass. "Do you not know who I am?" Merlin asked as I smirked slightly.

"Yes a failure of a Right Hand of a childish King" I answered as the people around us but Hawk went pale. All nearly falling sideways. Hawk was asking them questions about their reactions as I moved more toward Merlin who was much taller than myself. I looked up into her face. "When I first moved here the women and children were raped daily by bandits and raiders, where was the King or you then? Where were you when over half of this town were killed and slaughtered? I had to deal with the raiders and bandits myself becoming mayor while doing so" I then spoke harshly toward Merlin as she had lost her cockiness.

Guilt in her eyes. She was soon pulled backwards the male Escanor was soon in her place looking at me. His eyes filled with some rage. "Merlin was forced to not send help along with King Arthur. The Goddess Clan are becoming a threat once again causing us to be low on soldiers!" Escanor snapped at me as I gave out an annoyed 'tisk' as I still kept my smirk. It was easy to see Escanor got upset when came to be about Merlin. He was filled with too much pride for his own good on top. "Then don't agree to those bastards, simple as that" I replied.

Escanor's rage grew along with his body turning into a huge hulking monster figure. I stood my ground while the others were all shouting at him to calm down. "I would suggest listening unless you want your ass beaten out of here" I spoke as Merlin looked at me fast, begging for me to stop upsetting him. She was warning me he was as powerful as the Demon King himself. That only made me interested in him and the six people in front of me. I lifted up my hand facing it toward Escanor. 

"Let's see if that is true..." I spoke as pure white energy beam coming out my hand pushing Escanor away from me through the wall of the house and far away from the house itself. The six were standing there in utter shock as I heard Meliodas rushing out of bed upstairs. "He didn't die, a normal human would've died from that blast" I then spoke in excitement. Hawk was yelling at me not to destroy the tavern again from my experiments.
