You and Akeno are fighting several Legions that have surrounded yourselves in Mega District 4. You fought with strength and speed, while Akeno used her magic to either incapacitate them or at least stun them.

"Die, you worthless pieces of scrap!"

Akeno: "A bunch of pathetic, willing slaves who sold their souls just to kill more."

You then charged up some energy within yourself and sounded out a powerful beam of energy that wiped out the Legions around yourself and Akeno. You began to feel a little tired, but Akeno caught you.

Akeno: "Woah, easy. Let's get back to the hideout. We've got what we need."

She held out a Data Drive before putting it back in her clothes and teleporting away with you. You returned to the hideout and Akeno rested you onto a bed to bandage you up.

"I heal much faster than humans, you know."

Akeno: "Yeah, but best to not push yourself. No matter how strong you are, you still have limits."

"I know, I know. You think the others are going to follow us?"

Akeno: "Most likely. But we're getting closer to Infinite. Hey, let me make dinner. Might be some time before we can have a good meal."

"I won't say no to that."

Akeno smiled and walked away to make food. You then looked at a TV to see the news covering what happened in the Mega District, calling it an attack done by the "Resistance".

Suddenly, a communication device next to yourself turns on and you heard Issei's voice.

Issei: "Hello? Akeno? Are you there?"

"Issei?"

Issei: "Y/N. Oh, thank god. Where are you and Akeno?"

"In Endless, but I'm guessing you know what since I can hear your voice, which also means you're here as well."

Issei: "Yeah. When Rias found out, she got pretty pissed and concerned, so she got all of us to come here, but Infinite's defenses shot down our vessel and we all got scattered."

"Keep to the shadows, and try to get to Mega District. We'll look for you."

Issei: "Okay. I really need to get out of these sewers. The rats ate all my food and they're still chasing me. Please try to be there."

"I'll try."

Akeno then appears and held the device.

Akeno: "Issei?"

Issei: "Akeno? Where are you?"

Akeno: "I'm with Y/N. Just head to where he said and we'll find you."

Issei: "Okay. Stay safe."

Akeno: "You as well."

The call cut off and Akeno looked out the window.

"Didn't think they'd be heading here this soon."

Akeno: "They mean everything to me. I can't let anything happen to them."

"Then let's protect your new family."

Akeno: "Thank you."

"Can we still eat first?"

Akeno: "Just be quick but careful about it."

"Got it."

The two of you finished your food before you took off the bandages to reveal that his injuries have completely healed. You and Akeno packed up and left to find Issei and the others.
