The atmosphere in the house was all gloomy. Kartik was sitting beside Naira holding her, somehow controlling his tears from falling. Naksh was trying to pacify Dadi and Bhabhimaa. Samarth had taken Gayu in their room. Swarna and Surekha were in the kitchen making some snacks as no one had taken lunch. Manish was having a conversation over the phone with the inspector.

Manish- Saat ghante hone arahe hai bachchon ka abhi bhi koi pata nahi laga. Aap log kar kya rahe hai?

Inspector-Sir hamari team poori mumkin koshish kar rahi hai.

Manish-Koshish nahi mujhe result chahiye

Inspector-Sir aap fikar mat kariye wo jo kidnappers hai woh iss shehar se bahar nahi ja sakenge. Humne har jagah nakabandi laga di hai. Koi bhi suspicious gadi humai nazar aane par humne humare police officers ko acche se check karne ko bol dia hai. Aur haan Mr Goenka jaise kidnapper ne aapko letter bheja hai ho sakta hai aapko woh ransom ke liye call kare. Toh aap alert rahe. Aur aisa kuch hua toh humai turant inform kar dijiye.

Manish- Thik hai.

Manish kept the phone. He saw Kartik looking extremely upset. Akhilesh came to him and kept a hand on his shoulder.

Akhilesh- Bhaisahab inspector ko koi information mili?

Manish- Nahi Akhilesh ab tak kuch pata nahi chala hai. 

Manish went outside the house. Akhilesh followed him.

Akhilesh- Bhaisahab sambhaliye apne aap ko. Aap toot jayenge toh Kartik ko himmat kaun dega?

Manish- Isi baat ka toh dukh hai Akhlesh. Apne bete ke liye kuch nahi kar pa raha hun. Mera beta apne bete ke liye bohot pareshan hai. Wo bhale hi bahar se yeh jatane ki koshish kar raha hai ki wo apne aap ko sambhal raha hai par andar se woh toot chuka hai. Aur mai uska baap hokar uske aason nahi poch pa raha. Uski koi madad nahi kar pa raha.

Akhilesh- Aisa nahi hai bhaisahab aap puri koshish kar toh rahe hai na. Aur dekhna humare Vansh-Kairav jaldi ghar vapis aayenge aap ko pareshan karne.

Manish- Bhagwan kare humare bachche theek ho.

Kartik took Naira to their room. She was sitting for a long time. So he took her to their room so she could rest for a while. Kartik went down to get some food for Naira as he knew she wouldn’t have eaten anything. When he came back to their room he found Naira was missing. He kept the food plate on the table and went to look for Naira. He was passing through Kairav-Vansh’s room when he saw that the room’s light was on and the door was slightly open. He pushed the door a little bit. He saw Naira caressing Kairav’s photo. He knew she was yearning to see him, to hold him in her arms close to her heart.  

Luka chuppi bahut hui, saamne aa ja naa

Kahan kahan dhoondha tujhe

Thak gayi hai ab teri maa

Aaja saanjh hui mujhe teri fikar

Dhundhla gayi dekh meri nazar aa ja na

Kartik saw Naira holding Kairav’s favourite car. He remembered the day when he had gifted him that car

Flashback

It was Christmas eve. Kairav had just woken up and directly went to the Christmas tree to look for the gift kept by Santa. He saw a gift-wrapped rectangular box with his name. He hurriedly opened it to see what was inside. As he opened it he was extremely happy to see the remote-controlled car.

Kairav- Thank you Santa meri favorite car ke liye. Yayyyy

 From the corner Naira and Kartik were smiling  looking at their son’s happiness .

Kartik- Kitna khush hai na woh.

Naira- Haa. All thanks to you. Waise tumhe kaise pata chala usse yahi car pasand hai? Wish toh usne raat ko hi likhi thi.

Kartik- Asal mai pichle hafte mai aur Kairav jab mall mai gaye they tab janab ko yeh car bohot pasand ayi thi. Par tabhi shop mai uss car ka yeh ek hi piece tha aur wo sold out tha. Tab maine dekha mera beta kitna udhas hua tha. Isliye maine soch liya tha ki Christmas par usse yahi car gift karunga. Isliye shop owner ko request karke maine yeh order karwa lia.

Naira- Kartik tum na itni mehege gifts dekar usse bigad doge.

Kartik- Toh tum hona usse sudharne ke liye jaise tum mujhe sudharti ho.

Naira-  Kartikkk….

Kairav came running towards them.

Kairav- Mumma-Papa yeh dekho Santa ne mujhe kya gift kia.

Kartik-(sitting on his knees to match Kairav’s height) Aap ko accha laga?

Kairav- Bohot. Chalo Papa isse chalate hai

Naira- Kairav abhi nahi pehele brush toh kar lo

Kairav and Kartik together- Mumma please.

She smiled looking at the father-son duo giving the same cute expression.

Naira- Thik hai par ek shart hai

Kairav and Kartik together- Kya?

Naira- Yahi ki mumma bhi Papa and baby ko join karegi

Kairav- Yayyyyy chalo 

They went to play with him.

Flashback ends.

Kartik saw Naira was hugging Kairav’s blanket.

Kartik slowly went towards Naira. He sat besides her and hugged her. Neither he spoke anything nor she said anything. Words were not required to express the pain. They both sat there just to feel the presence of their son. After some time they both came back to their room. Kartik forcefully made Naira have some food. Even she fed him a few morsels knowing very well that even he had not eaten anything. He also fed her medicines. Later Kartik was trying to make Naira sleep.

Kartik- Naira aankhein band karo aur thoda aram karo. 

Naira- Kartik mera bachcha. Pata nahi usne kuch khaya hoga ki nahi? Kahin andhere se dar toh nahi gaya hoga mera Kairav? Kartik woh bohot chota hai. Pata nahi wo log uske saath…

Kartik- Nahi naira nahi. Kairav aur Vansh dono ko kuch nahi hoga. Saare bure khayal apne dimag se hata lo.

He too went inside the blanket and started caressing her hair so that she could sleep. Soon her medicines started showing effect and her tired body finally gave up. She finally slept much to Kartik’s relief. He was about to switch-off the lights when he saw his mobile buzzing with his private detective’s call. He immediately picked the call.

Kartik- Hello

Person- Hello Sir bohot important information deni hai. Mujhe ek clue mila hai jisse humai pata chal sakta hai ki bachche aakhir hai kahan.

Kartik- Kya sach?

Person- Haa Sir. Aap jaldi se ajayiye. Mai aapko address message karta hun.

Kartik- Thik hai tum address bhejo

He kept the phone. Within a few seconds he received the address. He prayed to Krishna ji to give him strength to find both kids.
