It's been one week and Jessica has not spoke a word to Danny.

Today Sam is taking Jessica and kids to Theodore's appointment. The girls, especially Autumn were very excited to see Theodore's reaction to hearing their voices for the first time.

Jessica's stomach was in knots. She just prayed everything would go smoothly.
It was going to be quite a long appointment, so Jessica hoped Julia wouldn't get too irritated and fussy having to wait for so long.

"What's hers doin to baby's ear?" Julia asks.

"She fitting him for his hearing aids." Sam says as they watch Theodore laugh at the feeling.

"Him like it!" Julia smiles.

"He does!" Jessica giggles and kisses the top the baby's head.

"Daddy, he's gonna hear us now?" Landon asks his father.

"Yeah, buddy! Cool, huh?"

"Yeah!"

"I can't wait to tell him I love him." Autumn smiles sweetly.

"Aw! How sweet, baby girl." Jessica says smiling at her daughter.

After a while of sitting around, the doctor came back.
She slipped the hearing aids on Theodore's little ears, and by now he was Very fussy.

"It's okay, honey! You're okay!" Jessica said in a soothing voice.

"Now let's stay quiet, kids. Let the first voice he hears be Mommy's." Sam says.

Jessica was crying just waiting for the moment they were turned on.

"Okay, wait about six seconds and he'll be able to hear you."

"Okay.... Theodore! Hi!"

Theodore's eyes went wide and Jessica giggled.
"Hi, baby boy! I love you!"

Theodore reached up and placed his hand on his mother's face. Something he would often do to make out who was holding him.

"I love you, handsome.." Jessica spoke in a soft voice.

Theodore begins giggling.

"Awww! Oh he likes it!  You like the way Mommy's voice sounds, baby boy?" Jessica asks, making Theodore laugh even more.

"I say hi?" Julia whispers.

"Yeah babes, come here.."

Autumn looks at the baby with a smile and tears in her beautiful hazel eyes.

"Hi baby Theo! I love you so much."

Theodore laughs making Autumn smile even bigger.

"Hi baby!" Julia shouts.
"I Juju!"

Jessica giggles, then looks at Sam and smiles a tearful smile. "Thank you, Sam."

"Don't thank me, Jess. I'm happy I did it."

"Come here."

Sam walks over and Jessica speaks in a baby voice, "Say thank you, uncle Sammy.."

"Aw! You're welcome, Theo! I'm happy to help, buddy!"

Theodore reached his hands out and Jessica said, "He wants to touch your face."

Sam kneels down and the baby rubs his hands on his stubble and laughs.

"That's Sam, Teddy!  You know, Sammy!" Jessica says as he laughs once again.

"You are so cute, little man." Sam smiles with tears in his eyes.

In the car on the way home the girls wouldn't stop speaking to their little brother. He was just smiling and smiling.

"Oh the eye doctor is calling." Jessica gasps. "I wonder if his glasses are in!

Hello?"

"Hello, Mrs. Huston?"

"Yes ma'am!"

"Hi, I am just calling to let you know Theodore's glasses are in and you can come by to pick them up."

"Oh my goodness, we'll be right there!  Thank you!"

Jessica hangs up and starts crying happy tears.
Sam rubs her thigh and Autumn looks up.

"Mommy?  Are you okay?"

"Yes, I'm fine, honey!  Theo's glasses are in so I'm happy!  You're gonna see and hear today, baby boy!"

Hearing his mother voice made a big smile appear on his face.

"Aw mommy, he's smiling!"

"My baby boy!" Jessica smiles.

"We back?!" Julia shouts as they walk I to the doctors office.

"It's a different place, baby girl!" Jessica laughs.

"I go sheeep!  Sham!  Hold!" Julia looks up to Sam in tears.

"Oh the baby's tired!" He baby talks and lifts her up.

"I go sheeeep!" She whines.

"Go to sleep, Juju." Sam rubs her back.

"I go to sheep, Sham."

"Okay." He chuckles.

"You do that, beautiful."

Jessica sat in a chair with the baby on her lap once again.
She was so excited to see his reaction to the world for the very first time.  Before now everything he's ever seen has been fuzzy.

"Okay buddy, let's put your glasses on!"

Theodore fusses and attempts to move away from the doctor.

"It's okay, baby.. you're okay." Jessica says in a soothing voice.

Once the glasses were on Jessica said, "Theo!"

His eyes went wide and he quickly turned to Jessica.

"Hi, baby! It's mommy!"

Theodore gave her the most adorable little smile.

"Hi!  Aw my handsome.. Can you see mommy, Teddy?"

Theodore giggles and places his hands on her cheeks.

"Yeah, it's me!"

He then hits his thighs and kicks his feet with excitement.

"You're so happy!  Aw, I love you so much, Theo!" Jessica kisses his cheeks.

"Jessie, look at the way he's looking at you!" Sam says sitting down beside her.

"I know! Wow.."

"You have a beautiful momma, huh, buddy?" Sam smiles at Theodore.

"Aw Sammy!" Jessica playfully hits his arm.

Sam wraps his arm around her and kisses the top of her head.

"You gave my boy an entire world today, Sam. Thank you.. so so much. I could never repay you!"

Sam looks at Theodore and smiles.
"That smile is all I need."

Jessica smiles at him. She then places her palm on his cheek and gives him a soft kiss on his lips.

"Woah!" Sam's eyes widen.

"I-I.. I bought the hearing aids too, doesn't that mean two kisses?"

"Oh shut it!" Jessica laughs.
