Saturday.

"Sam, do you think I made the right decision?"

"Absolutely! First of all; if he wanted them today, he should have spoken to you at least a week in advance.
We have a schedule and he can't come in and just throw Theo and Juju off.
Second; after the way he treated them the last time, he shouldn't even dare asking you for them at all!
So don't worry. You made a great decision."

"Thanks.. I just hope he doesn't do anything stupid." Jessica sighs.

"What do you mean?"

"I don't know.. Well have you ever seen that Katey Sagal movie where her ex husband kidnaps their kids?"

"No. But don't worry, that's not gonna happen!"

"You should watch it, it's a good movie."

Sam chuckles and kisses her cheek.
"We can have a movie night later."

"Mmmm.. We can have a movie night that leads to sexy time.." Jessica smiles softly.

"Oh I like the sound of that!" Sam says pulling her body against his.

"Ahh!" Evangeline screams.

Jessica is quickly taken from her sexy mood.  She then chuckles and lays her forehead against Sam's chest.

"That little one is gonna ruin it for us, isn't she?" Sam asks making Jessica laugh.

"She might!"

"She's the best form of birth control."

"Mhm!" Jessica laughs.

A few hours later Sam, Jessica, and the kids all went over to Sam's parent's house for a day with the family.

"I can't believe how big Evangeline is getting!" Sam's sister says lightly bouncing the five month old.

"I know! She's gonna be tall, I just know it! Look how long her legs are already! Juju was a midget at this age compared to her!" Jessica giggles.

"Hey I not a midget! I am mini sized, and I is cute!"

Jessica laughs. "That's true, baby girl. You sure are!"

"I IS!"

Sam laughs and nods his head.

"Shammy tink I is funny," Julia says to her future aunt.

"You are funny, Juls."

"I know that, daddy! I got jokes." She shrugs.

"Wow, she is so quick, isn't she?" Sam's sister Jane says.

"She is." Jessica laughs.

One hour later.

"Daddy! Daddy!" Theodore runs over as fast as he can.

"What buddy?"

"P-P-Playaayy!"

"They're playing catch. You might be to old for that, dad." Landon says to his father.
Jessica couldn't help but crack up.

"I think you're right, Landon. He probably is too old!"

"You little stinker!" Sam says to Jessica.

"Tinker!" Theodore laughs.

"Mommy is a stinker, huh, Theo?"

"Yeah! Mama tinker! Mama tinker!"

"Don't turn my baby against me, Samuel!"

"It's okay, I love you, Jessie." Landon wraps his arms around Jessica, and lays his head on her.

"Awww! I love you more, baby!"

"No, my mama!" Theodore runs and grabs Jessica's legs.

"I thought you were team daddy!" Sam says.

"Mama! Mama!"

Jessica lifts him up, kisses his cheek, and rubs Landon's back as he continues hugging her.
"Mama gets alllll the boys!" She smiles.

Monday.

"Mommy, I no want to stay today." Julia cries.

"Honey, what's the matter? You were doing better with going to school.
We'll be back in a few hours, it'll be okay."

"I no want to stay!" Julia rubs her eyes.

"You're okay." Jessica kisses her cheek and hands her over.
She then sighs and looks at Sam. "It's hard, but she has to get over it. She's a big girl."

"I'm sure she'll be fine the moment we leave."

"I know she will. She's just having a moment." Jessica chuckles.

Lunch time.
The front office.

"Hello sir. How can I help you?"

"Hello, My name is Daniel Huston." Danny smiles and hands the woman his drivers license.
"I'm here to pick up my daughter, Julia Huston."

"Oh Mr. Huston! Hello, it's so nice to finally meet you!"

"Lovely to meet you.." Danny squints and looks at her badge. "Ms. Brenda. What a beautiful name!" He smiles.

"Oh aren't you sweet!" Brenda giggles.

Danny chuckles and says, "My ex wife has an emergency and needed me to pick Julia up early today."

"Oh okay, no problem! I will send for her. Please, have a seat."

"Thank you very very much." Danny smiles. It was the exact same fake persona he put on back when he first met Jessica.

Just a few minutes pass and Julia is walking out along side of Brenda.
When Julia sees her father, she gasps. "No! No, I don't want to go with him!"

"Hi my sweet little Sunshine!" Danny smiles.

"No! No, go away!"

"Kids!" Brenda chuckles.

"She's a stinker, this one! Come on, Julia. Mommy sent me to come pick you up today."

"No hers didn't!"

"She did, now come on." Danny picks her up kicking and screaming.

"NO! NO! HELP ME! DON'T LET ME GO WITH HIM! I WANT MY MOMMY AND SHAM!"

"She's a mess! Thank you so much for your help, Ms. Brenda." Danny smiles and shakes her hand.

"You're very welcome, Mr. Huston!" She giggles.

Getting in the car, Danny roughly buckles Julia in.

"I need my car seat!" Julia shouts.

"Shut up!" Danny hits her thigh.

"OW! I want Mommyyyyy!"

"We're not going to see mommy!"

"I HATE YOU!" She screams.

Danny slaps Julia across the face before slamming the door and getting in the car.

Sam and Jessica's POV.

"Uh oh, it's Theodore's school. I wonder what he did." Jessica chuckles.
.... Hello? Ms. Lange speaking."

"Ms. Lange, we have Theodore here, but we just wanted to inform you that a man of the name Daniel Huston just came by trying to pick him up. He told he me he is Theodore's father, but since you and Mr. Shepard do not have him on the list, we cannot send him with Mr. Huston."

"Oh my gosh! Are you serious? He's there?!"

"He just left, ma'am."

"Did he have a little girl with him?"

"No, ma'am."

"Oh thank God! Okay, let me quickly call my daughter's school. Thank you so much for not sending my baby with him."

"Of course! I'll let you go. Have a nice day!"

"Thank you, you too."

Jessica then hangs up and quickly dials Julia's school.

"What was that about?" Sam asks as he burps Evangeline.

"Danny just tried picking Theo up from his daycare!"

"What?!"

"He's insane! I'm calling Julia's school now to warn them that he's more than likely on his way."

Yes, hello! This is Jessica Lange.  My daughter is Julia Summer Huston. My ex husband is probably on his way to-"

"No worries, ma'am!"

"Oh thank God! You have her?"

"No ma'am, Mr. Huston has already come by to pick her up."

"WHAT?! You sent her with him?!" Jessica shouts.

"Were we not supposed to?"

"No! He is nowhere on our contact information! Why in the world would you just send my child with him?"

Sam is hearing all of this and is already getting the keys to go out and find Julia.

"Ms. Lange, I am so sorry! I figured because he's her father.."

"I don't have time for you to apologize right now. I need to find my daughter!" Jessica hangs up and calls Danny.

"This is ridiculous! Why the hell would they do that?!"

"We should call the police." Sam says.

"He's not answering. Sam, where is my baby?!" Jessica cries.

"Don't cry, it's gonna be okay."

"I'm scared, Sam.."
