Jessica didn't sleep that entire night.  Julia kept her up, nursing every hour and a half to two hours.
There were many many diapers changes, and of course tons of kisses and cuddles.

"Is your tummy empty again, sunshine?" Jessica asked as she picked up the whining baby.

Jessica then began feeding her.
"There you go, beautiful.. all better, huh?"

Jessica sighs and turns to the clock.
"4:20.. that's mommy's birthday." She chuckles softly.

"I wonder where your daddy is, little one..
He'll be back, I know he will. He's just.. I don't know, maybe he's sleep deprived.
.. Then again, so am I!  I mean, I had a baby!" She chuckles.
"And I'm not being mean, am I, precious? No I'm not!" Jessica says in a cute voice as she moves closer to the baby.

She then sighs and lightly pats her bottom.
"Mommy won't cry. I promise!" She giggles and tries her best not to show her tears.

Jessica sniffles and kisses Julia's soft cheek.

7:00 am.

"Good morning, sunshine! Well, we survived our first night home! High five!" Jessica chuckles.

She then goes on to change her diaper then to the kitchen to make breakfast.

Julia wasn't wanting to be put down so Jessica held her as she made breakfast.

A few minutes pass and Autumn came downstairs on the phone.

"Auttie, Who are you talking to?" Jessica asks.

"My daddy! I wanted to say good morning!"

"Well aren't you sweet." Jessica chuckles.

"Yep!

Daddy, mommy is cooking AND holding Juju!
Isn't she good?"

"She is! Hey, why is your momma cooking? She should be resting."

"I don't know." Autumn shrugs.

"Mommy, where's Danny?" She asks.

"Uhm, he uh.. he went to work!"

"Danny's at work, daddy. That's why Mommy's cooking."

"Oh.. Auttie, can I talk to momma, please?"

"Sure! Mommy, he wants to talk to you!" Autumn hands her the phone.

Jessica turns down the fire and grabs the phone.

"Hello, Sam!"

"Hey, what are you doing up? I thought Danny was taking off."

"Uh yeah, he is! But he needed to go in for something. He'll be home soon."

"Well let me go help you. You're gonna make yourself sick doing so much."

"Sam, I'm fine. I promise."

Sam sighs. "I just feel terrible. You just had a baby!"

"I know but I'm okay." Jessica giggles.

"Okay.. well call me if you need anything, okay?"

"I will. Thanks for caring, Sam." Jessica smiles softly.

"Of course! Take care, Jessie."

"You too.. Bye, Sam.."

6:00 pm.

Jessica has not heard a word from Danny.
Autumn is upstairs doing her homework, and Jessica is on the couch feeding Julia.

"You eat so much, don't you, chunker? You eat like a little piggy!" Jessica laughs and kisses the top of her head.

Just then she hears the front door.
Jessica looks at the door and makes eye contact with Danny.

"Hey." He says.

Jessica just looks down and messes with Julia's blanket.

"I'm so sorry."
Danny walks over and sits beside her.
He hands her flowers and kisses her cheek.

"Don't.  Stop. Just don't, Danny!"

"What? Jessica, I'm sorry!"

"You're sorry?" Jessica chuckles.

"Danny, do you know how many times I've heard that from you?"

...

"You missed her fist night home." Jessica looks at him with tears in her eyes.

"Her first full day in the house! You can't get those moments back, Daniel. You missed it!"

"I know.. I'm so sorry, I promise not to miss another day!"

Jessica quickly wipes her cheek as Danny kisses along her neck.

"Danny, stop it." Jessica lightly pushes him away.

"Babe-"

"No stop! Danny, this all started with Sam.
Why are you so jealous of him? I love you."

"I don't know. Like I've said before, i just honestly feel like I don't deserve you. Sam has a better job than I do.. he makes more more money.. he's tall! I don't know." He shrugs.
"I just get jealous when I see you and him together."

"But I love You." Jessica places her palm on his cheek and turns his face towards hers.

"I love you too."

Jessica smiles softly as Danny moves closer and kisses her lips.

Pulling apart, Danny softly caresses the baby's arm and kisses her forehead.

"And I love you too, Juju!  Daddy is so so sorry!"

Jessica giggles.

"Jess!  You must be exhausted!  Did you get any sleep?"

"Nope!" Jessica nods with a beautiful smile.

"I'm so sorry."

"You should be!" She laughs.

Three months later.

"Peekaboo!  There she is!" Jessica says as baby Julia giggles loudly.

"Peekaboo!  I see you!"

Once again Julia cracks up laughing.
She then grabs her towel and covers her face all by herself.

"Oh no!  Where's Juju?  Where is she?!"

Julia quickly moves the towel revealing her face.

Jessica gasps. "There she is!"
"Oh you scared me, baby girl!"

Of course that only tickles Julia even more.

"You are so cute!  Now let's get you dressed.  We can go to dinner with a nakey baby!  That would be so silly!"

"Look at little miss all dressed up for dinner!" Jessica giggles as she snaps the baby's picture.

"Do you know why we're going out tonight, princess?  Huh?!
Because it's brother's birthday!  He's one year old today!"

Julia babbles and kicks her legs.

Jessica giggles through her tears.
"Can you say Happy Birthday, Simba?  Say, I love you!"

Again, Julia coos loudly.
"Oh good girl!" Jessica giggles.

"Babe, you ready?" Danny shouts from downstairs.

"Oh yeah!  We're coming, daddy!" Jessica takes the baby and walks downstairs.

Danny drives the three girls to a nice Italian dinner.

Danny orders a drink, Jessica gets an iced tea, and Autumn orders a lemonade.

"I think Juju likes the lights in here!  She keeps smiling up to the sky and kicking her legs.  She's even trying to talk!" Autumn smiles.

"Maybe she sees brother." Jessica says.

Autumn gasps. "Maybe so!
Do you see Simba, Julia?  Do you see him?!"

Jessica smiles then turns to Danny.
"You okay, love?  You're so quiet."

"Yeah.. yeah, I'm perfect." Danny smiles.

Jessica smiles and leans in to kiss his lips.

"Jess.."

"Yeah?"

"I was gonna wait and do this another time but, umm.. It's Simba' birthday, and.. I just think now is the right time."

"What?" Jessica felt her heart begin to beat faster.

Danny takes a small box out of his jacket pocket as he gets down on one knee.

"Jessica Lange.. will you marry me?"

Autumn's little eyes went wide.  She covered her mouth and mumbled, "OH MY GOSH!" Into them.

"Danny!" Jessica giggles.

"I love you.  I love Autumn, and Julia.. and little Simba, of course.  You are the best thing that has ever happened to me.  Will you be my wife?"

Jessica laughs and nods her head.
"Yes!  YES!"

Danny slips the ring on her then hugs her tightly.

"I love you." Jessica says just as Danny's lips crash into hers.

"YAY!" Autumn stands on her chair and claps.

Jessica pulls away and giggles at Autumn.

"This is so cool!  You're getting married!  Julia, they're getting married!"

Julia blows spit bubbles and claps her hands with excitement.

"She's happy too!" Autumn smiles.

Jessica giggles and kisses both of her girls.

"There's more!" Danny smiles.

"What?" Jessica asks.

"I got a great job offer!"

"What?!  That's awesome, baby!"

"Yep!  We're moving!"

"Moving?  Where?!"

"Bayfield Wisconsin!" Danny smiles.

"Wisconsin?!"

"Yeah, isn't that great?!"

"Danny, you've already accepted the job?"

"Of course!  The money is SO much better, babe!"

"I wish you would have discussed it with me first.. I have Autumn.  Sam and I share custody, and Bayfield is--"

"An hour and forty minutes away!" Danny smiles.

"What?!  We can't move!" Autumn says.

Jessica sighs and says, "Danny why didn't you ask me first?"

"Jessica, more money is a good thing!  We're struggling, babe!  And it's not like you work anymore!"

Jessica gives him a look. "Excuse me?  I don't work because I have two kids to look after!  Kids you don't even help with!"

"Don't fight!" Autumn covers her ears.
She hates to hear them go back and forth with each other.

Jessica once again gives Danny a look and says, "We will discuss this later, Daniel."
