Things were a bit tense between the parents. Yoongi had gone back to sleeping in his own room and the two ended up alternating who kept the baby in their room at night.
Was Yoongi sad about? Absolutely but he was sticking to his statement. He wasn't a secret. He wanted to be with someone who was willing to be with him publicly. Of course, Jimin has the right to come out when he was ready. Coming out was someone's personal choice, something Yoongi wishes he had decided to do on his own but didn't get the chance. That being said it didn't mean someone had to put up with it. Why put yourself in a position where you won't be happy. Yoongi didn't think he would be happy seeing the lengths Jimin could go to not only cover up the existence of his daughter but his relationship with him. He didn't want to be Jimin's burden.
After the conversation with the male, he ended up calling his best friend telling him everything that had happened. To get his mind off of it they went to mall. They walked around when he spotted a hair salon. At first, he had only gone in for a haircut but he ended up coming out with an undercut and blonde hair. Taehyung had laughed saying it was his post break up glow up. It only ended up making the boy sadder realizing they never dated once. But it was better this way, he tried to convince himself. They had a baby and they shouldn't be in a relationship together if they knew one of them would be unhappy.
"Naomi calm down. You're okay," Yoongi whispered rubbing the baby's back. She continued to cry.
"I think it's enough," Jimin said. A frown on his lips. They were doing tummy time. Naomi didn't like it so she would cry in hopes for her parents would have pity on her and get her out of what she deemed an uncomfortable position. When they first started they would only do it for a minute several times a day but now that she was three weeks old they gradually extended the time. She was now doing twenty minutes and she absolutely hated it.
"She only has a few minutes left," the father mumbled. He didn't like seeing his baby cry but it was for her own good. "Look she's even starting to lift her head a bit," he said. Naomi continued to cry out wanting either of her parents to pick her up from the blanket.
"It's only a few minutes," Jimin whispered running his finger over the side of her cheek. Yoongi sighed but ultimately nodded. The brunette quickly lifted the baby cuddling her close rubbing her back to soothe her. He unlocked his phone turning off the alarm that would have indicted her tummy time was over.
The baby quickly calmed down now being in his papa's arms. "My mom said she was coming today," Jimin told the blonde who looked up at him with a raised brow. This would be the sixth time his mom said she would come. In actuality, she's never showed up once. She never even called in advance to tell him she wouldn't make it. She would wait a day or two to call him again and make plans to go only for the cycle to repeat. She hasn't met her granddaughter yet. She wouldn't even know what she looked like if Jimin didn't send her photos every other day. "She's coming this time," he snapped when he saw the look on the other's face.
She didn't go that day nor the day after that. Yoongi didn't say anything. When she called saying she would be there Jimin once again got his hopes up. "Jimin," the blonde had softly said. It was sad watching how the boy waited all day for the doorbell to ring only to be let down at the end of the day.
"She'll come," he defended. By whatever miracle she did. But she wasn't alone.
When Jimin opened the door he was greeted by the sight of both his parents. His father stood tall with an emotionless look.
Any happy feeling the brunette had felt dissipated in an instant. The night he was kicked out flashed through his mind. It was like he could feel the smack to the mouth his father had given him. All the hurtful words that were said. 'Either kill it or get out' those where the options that he had been given that night.
"Are you going to let us in?" His mother's voice was calm. How could she bring him here? Jimin contemplated shutting the door in their faces but instead stepped aside letting them enter.
"I-" he started to say something but quickly shut his mouth. He wasted no seconds to shut the door before rushing into the living room where his daughter laid awake in her bouncer. The bouncer her grandparents had bought her. Most of what she owned was due to her grandparents with the exception of a few things her parents bought her with the money from their savings.
He picked her up cuddling her close to his chest no longer wanting to show her off to his mother. He didn't want the man who gave him the awful ultimatum to meet her. "You can take a seat on the couch," he mumbled voice barely above a whisper. His father did so looking bored and ready to leave. His mother, on the other hand, approached him with her hands held out ready to take the baby.
"Why would you bring him?" He whispers shouted. His mother sighed shaking her head at the teen. "He is your father Jimin he also should meet your child."
The brunette scoffed loudly. "He wanted me to abort her and when I didn't he kicked me out. He doesn't have the right to meet her nor does he have any business being here," he snapped.
His mother sighed. "He's your father and my husband."
"He abandoned me when I most needed him," he spoke louder than intended making his eyes shift to the man whose eyes glared at him. He used to look at him with pride but now it was pure disgust.
"I won't tolerate this. Are we staying or are we leaving?" He asked directing his question to his wife.
Mrs.Park sighed. "Cheol, we are staying," she told the man. He grunts but didn't argue.
"You didn't give him much of a choice, Jimin. You disappointed him in more than one way. He never expected you to have a baby at such a young age, I mean you aren't even eighteen yet, then add in the fact that it was with another male," she said trying to defend her husband. "Let's just move past this," she extended her arms ready to take the baby.
Her son just stared at her. He hesitated but eventually handed over his daughter. The grandmother cooed at her grandbaby. "Well look at you," she said in a baby voice as she moved to sit beside her husband. Jimin stayed close to her ready to take his baby back at any moment. He took a seat on the edge of the coffee table directly in front of the two adults.
"Cheol, look she's beautiful," she said. Jimin was tense. He kept glancing at the door waiting for Yoongi to appear he had gone out to buy diapers and formula not that long ago leaving him home alone since Namjoon was at the beach with Jin today.
"She looks nothing like him," his father commented.
"She looks like her dad. The only thing she has of me is her lips," the teen said reaching over to adjust her beanie that was sliding off.
Mr.Park made a noise of displeasure. "You mean the little bitch who ruined your life."
"Don't call him that," Jimin said with a scowl. Mrs.Park once again sighed but this time didn't bother trying to stop their upcoming argument.
"But that's what he is. He turned you into a fag, got you pregnant, and this child will prevent you from prospering in life."
"My daughter will not prevent anything. She will motivate me," his voice was full of venom. He felt rage and resentment towards the man in front of him. "And Yoongi is an amazing person. He didn't turn me. It was my decision to be with him. He's supportive and he's a good dad so don't insult him!"
Mr.Park scoffed. "Good dad?" he laughs. "This poor child is unfortunate. Her parents aren't even grown-ups themselves. What makes you think you can raise a child? She will grow up with terrible morals." He gestures around them. "She's going to think gays are normal. She's going to think you," he points a finger at him, "are normal."
"Cheol!" Mrs.Park snapped making the man look over at her. "Shut up. That's enough from both of you. I'm just trying to meet my granddaughter and the two of you can't get along for five minutes!"
"Then why did you bring him here! You knew how he feels about me and my family so why would you bring this man to my home!" Jimin argued back. His loud voice alarming Naomi causing her to cry.
"First off do not act all high and mighty. You are freeloading from this family," his mother snapped. "Second off we are your family. Us," she gestured between her husband and her. "Which is why I want you to come back home."

Thoughts?
So how are you all? My school has officially closed and moved to online for the rest of the semester. Honestly, I hate it and would much rather be in class. I have an exam coming up and I don't think I will be doing good but I shall try. What going on with all of you?
