He rushed into the bathroom checking every stall to make sure no one was inside before getting in one. Jimin could hear the cheering from the people who were seated in the bleachers only making him wish even more that he had stayed home today. He took a couple of deep breaths before pulling down his shorts and underwear to see what he had feared was true. Blood. Not a small amount either.

"Fuck," he covered his mouth with his hand squeezing his eyes closed tight. He quickly pulled them up not wanting to see anymore. Jimin unlocked his phone, which he had snatched from his duffel bag before rushing to the closest bathroom, and dialed the only person he could think of. It took two tries before he heard a tired "what?" from the boy who was obviously taking a nap before the call.

"I need you to come to pick me up." His voice was shaky and he was close to hyperventilating. Normally he knew Namjoon had the car leaving Yoongi with no access to transportation other than walking but today Jimin had offered to carpool so that they could go out and eat before the game started and now he was more than thankful he decided to do that.

"Why d-"

"Something's wrong. Very very wrong," Jimin cut the brunette off. "I-I think I'm miscarrying."

There was a long pause of silence and for a moment Jimin had thought Yoongi had hung up, he even pulled the phone away from his ear to check, but he soon began to hear rustling movements on the other side of the line. "I'm on my way. Try to stay calm okay. I'll be there in five minutes."

While he waited Jimin took the time to send a text to Jungkook asking him to take his duffel bag and letting him know exactly where his car keys were so that the boys could get home. He rushed to the parking lot making sure that his coach, or anyone for that matter, didn't see him. He was still in his cleats and he was shivering from the cold air due to his lack of a jacket but thankfully he didn't have to wait long.

Yoongi stopped beside him unlocking the door so the boy could get in. He did so silently.

"I called my mom. She's waiting for us in the ER. She'll be checking you." The brunette said once they were a good distance away from the school.

"She knows?" Jimin had never heard himself sound so broken.

The driver sighed "now she does." He didn't want this to be the way his parents found out but he didn't want anyone other than his mother seeing Jimin. His mom was a double board-certified fetal and pediatric surgeon. If something was wrong than he knew Jimin was in good hands.

He glances at the boy from the corner of his eye. He had his head leaned against the window his nose was red and tears streamed down his cheeks. "It's going to be okay." He reached over grabbing one of the boy's hands and squeezing it tightly. Jimin's palms were sweaty and he was shaking pretty badly.

"You don't know that's true," he whispered. The cramps made him want to curl up in a ball till they went away.

"You don't know it's not true either."

"I was barely getting used to the idea of having a baby. Now that might be taken away from me." Jimin rolled his eyes looking up at the ceiling of the car. "I literally told Jungkook I wished things went back to how it was before and now-" his voice cracked. He put his hand over his mouth.

"No one can blame you for thinking that. This is something that takes a while to accept," he stayed silent for a moment. "I'm sorry I didn't call," Yoongi whispered.

"It's okay."

"Hi um we called ahead," Yoongi approached the lady at the front desk of the emergency room. "Patient name Park Jimin."

The lady typed into the computer a blank look on her face that quickly turned into confusion. "This can't be right. It says you're here for a possible..." she trails off as her eyes land on Jimin. His face was red and had tear stains running down his cheeks. He was now wearing Yoongi's hoodie and a pair of Nike slides that were found in the backseat of the car. Her eyes widened and her face scrunched in disgust. "A nurse will come to get you shortly."

The two didn't reply as they took a seat on the hard plastic chairs. They were sat for about fifteen minutes before they heard Jimin name being called. "Oh god," Yoongi whispered under his breath seeing his stepdad standing at the door with a chart in hand. Jimin, himself, felt embarrassed and ashamed of seeing the man. He was one of his son's best friends and now he was here with the man's other son because he thought he was miscarrying.

Mr.Kim lead them to an exam room. "Your mom will be in here soon," he said his eyes directed to Yoongi. He left without another word. Neither was sure if they were grateful the man hadn't said anything about the sudden news. Of course, it was a shock to them but surely they understood this wasn't the time to lecture them about anything. That could happen after they find out everything is okay.

"Yoongi," Jimin whispered. His eyes scanned the room. There were photos of pregnancy and babies all over the room. An ultrasound machine right beside the exam table he was seated on, the brunette stood on the other side. "I'm sorry I outed you and I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner." Tears began to well up in his eyes again. "I'm sorry this is happening and I'm probably losing our baby." His voice cracked.

"Hey, hey, no this isn't your fault. We'll talk about everything later, okay? You have to stay calm we don't know anything yet so there's no reason to cry right now," Yoongi cupped his cheeks wiping away the tears that escaped. Jimin nodded laying his head on the boy's chest. The two were far from being okay but right now wasn't the time to discuss any of their problems. They just needed each other's comfort.

A soft knock made them pull away and turn to look at the door. "Hi," Mrs.Min walked giving the boys a soft smile. Her husband was close behind. "I hear you think you're having-" she cuts herself off when she notices Jimin's gloomy face. "Why do you think that?"

"I'm having these horrible cramps and I-I'm bleeding." She nods her head walking over to the computer by the ultrasound. She types in some information before turning on the machine.

"Okay. I'm going to do an ultrasound to see what is going on and if the baby is okay. Have you had one done before?" She spoke softly to him. He shook his head looking down at his lap. Maybe if he did this wouldn't be happening. "Do you know how far along you are?"

"I think two almost three months." She instructed him to lay down and pull up the hoodie and jersey and warning him about the cold gel.

Jimin turned his head to look at Yoongi who was already looking back at him. He reached for his hand and the brunette didn't hesitate to hold it tight awaiting Dr.Min to let them know what was going on.

She sighed turning to her husband and whispering something to him. The teens watched with worry as the man left the room. "Mom what-" she shushed him before clicking a button.

Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump.

"That's your baby's heartbeat," the two bask in the sound. Yoongi's own heart fluttering and eyes watering.

"Does that mean it's okay?" Jimin questioned.

Mrs.Min clicked a button making the noise go away she removed the Doppler. She handed tissues to Jimin letting him clean off the gel and pull down his hoodie. She turned the screen showing a screenshot of the ultrasound was facing the teens before grabbing a chair. "Currently your baby has a strong heartbeat." Yoongi could tell by the look on her face there was a 'but' following that statement.

"This right here," she points a large spot a little bit above the baby. "That is a Subchorionic hematoma. It's a puddle of blood that's accumulated between the placenta and the uterus wall. It's what's causing your bleeding and cramps."

Jimin glances up at Yoongi feeling his hand grip even tighter. His brows were furrowed the corner of his lips turned down. "What does this mean? What's going to happen to Jimin and the baby?"

"Well for Jimin there is no long term affects with this and it usually resolves on its own but," she sighed, "the hematoma is quite large. I wish I could tell you it wasn't but I'm afraid you are at risk of a miscarriage. It is a possibility you will lose this baby."

Both boys took in a sharp breath. Yoongi pulled Jimin close to him and leaning his head against his. The blonde body shook with every sob. "Is there anything we can do to stop this?" The brunette's voice was barely above a whisper. He wanted to cry but he couldn't. He had to be the strong one out of the two of them.

"I'm going to give Jimin a progesterone injection. Your dad is getting that now. Other than that I'll be putting him in bed rest, no standing for too long, no exercise, and no sex." She gave them a look of sympathy. The last thing she thought she would be doing today is telling his son and her other son's best friend that they could possibly lose their unborn child. "Keep in mind this doesn't mean for certain you will lose the baby. Many people go on to deliver healthy babies so please don't lose hope. Let's just hope this will resolve itself very soon, okay?"

Jimin nodded trying to wipe away his tears but he couldn't stop the flood. Her heart aches for them.

"Do you believe in god, Jimin?" Mrs.Min asked. Once again Jimin nodded. "Okay so then let's pray," she gave him a small smile grabbing the blonde's freehand as well as her son's. They closed their eyes and bowed their heads down. Of course, she would never do this with her normal patients but this was family.
