It was Saturday and Billie-Joe had invited me round to his house for the day so I could tell him everything.

I was sat on his bed next to him rubbing my tiny bump.

"So... When did it all start?" Billie-Joe asked.

I took a deep sigh and started remembering.

"Remember on my first day, I got detention with Ger-Mr Way for fucking around with Hayley in class?" I started.

Billie-Joe nodded.

"Well I flirted a lot. And I may have sucked his dick in his office..."

"Ew! That's gross! Dude!" The boy grimaced.

"Let me finish!" I whined.

"I bet that's what he told you that day." He winked, nudging my shoulder with his.

"Fuck off." I chuckled, nudging him back. "Well, I kept going to his house, we were just fucking for a while. Then one day, something I've never felt before hit me. I'd fallen in love with him and I didn't mean to. Then one day he asked me out on a date, everything went well, then I fucked it up. We made up and went on what we called a 'second first date'. Everything went much better. A while after that, he asked me to be his girlfriend. I said yes. We've been sneaking around ever since. Kinda... I went into care and he fostered me so I could movve in with him. It was the perfect cover up. Things got a bad a few weeks ago, we broke up for a while and I went back into care, then of course, I found out I was pregnant. I mean, obviously we're all good now and I'm back living with him but it was bad for a while."

"Does he treat you good?" Billie-Joe asked.

I smiled. "He treats me like royalty everyday."

Billie-Joe nodded.

"If you love him and he loves you, if he treats you like you say he does and you're happy, then I guess, as your friend, I'm happy for you. No matter how weird this all is considering he's your teacher and all." He said. "Are you going to come out to everyone after you turn 18?"

I shrugged. "I don't know yet. But thank you for the support."

I smiled and leaned over to hug him.

He hugged me back tightly.

"You're welcome, beautiful."

Just then, the door opened.

Billie-Joe's mother walked in, looking extremely shocked.

"Billie-Joe Armstrong, I thought I raised you better than this." She snapped.

"Mom?" He asked, wondering what she was talking about.

"I heard everything."

My heart stopped.

This was it... Our secret's out. She's going to tell the principal... Gerard's going to go to jail... I thought.

"Mom, no. You don't understand." Billie-Joe argued.

"That teacher doesn't love you, young lady." His mom said to me. "He's grooming you. You're a minor. This is wrong. I'm telling the principal. I'm telling the police."

I stood up. "Please Mrs Armstrong, you can't. He's not grooming me, I love him and he loves me and we're going to have this baby together."

"You don't seriously believe that, do you? He's a creep! He shouldn't be teaching children!" She retorted.

Billie-Joe gave a frustrated sigh. "Mom you can't do this. I've seen them together. I've seen the way they look at each other! It's exactly the same way you and dad looked at each other."

His mom looked furious.

She stormed over to him and slapped him straight across the face.

"Mrs Armstrong!" I yelped.

"Don't you dare compare mine and your father's relationship to that filth." She spat.

Billie-Joe held his cheek, his eyes closed.

"Mom. I swear to God. If you tell anyone, I'm leaving."

Even I was shocked by Billie-Joe's words.

I had no idea I meant so much to him.

His mom looked terrified, but managed to compose herself after a few moments.

"This is what you choose to do under your dad's memory?" She asked.

Billie-Joe nodded.

"I'm protecting my friend."

"And a paedophile." She finished for him.

"No. A man who loves his girlfriend and his baby." He corrected.

I sudden nauseating feeling washed over me and I felt like I had to lay down.

"I feel faint." I whispered.

Billie-Joe and his mom looked to me just as I fell.

I tried my best to land safely for the baby but failed and crushed my stomach, feeling immense pain seconds before I blacked out...
