A week had past and I was getting all the pregnancy symptoms under the sun. It was driving me insane.

I'd been round Mikey's almost every night over the past seven days.

He was kind, supportive and always there for me and I was so grateful.

I was walking past Gerard's classroom when a hand pulled me back.

I was pulled into said classroom and the door was closed behind me.

"What do you want, Gerard?" I snapped.

"I'm going to ask this outright." He started, wiping his red hair from his face. "Because, frankly, the signs are all there."

I sighed heavily.

"Get on with it then."

"Have you been sleeping with Mikey?"

I stared at him in disbelief.

"You have got to be kidding me." I chuckled, humorlessly.

"Answer the question, Scarlett." Gerard glared.

"No! I haven't! And even if I had been, it's none of your business!" I raised my voice.

Gerard sighed.

"I know you've been going round there almost every night. You even stayed over there on Wednesday!"

"Yeah! Because I was feeling really fucking shitty and really fucking down and I needed to talk to someone! I stayed that night because it was late by the time we'd stopped having a conversation." I hissed.

Gerard chuckled and rubbed his eyes with the hand that wasn't still gripping my wrist.

"I'm shocked Hayley isn't pissed about all this." He said.

I shuffled and looked down at my feet.

"She doesn't know... Does she?" Gerard more stated than asked.

"It's none of her business. This is between Mikey and I." I retorted.

Gerard chuckled humorlessly once more and left my sight, releasing my wrist as he did so.

"I don't think she'll be too impressed." His voice ligured through the corridor.

I went straight to Mikey, of course.

I told him what happened and he wasn't impressed.

"How dare he! You're right Scarlett, it's none of their business. Although Hayley will have to find out, she's coming round tonight." Mikey said.

I nodded before realising what we'd have to tell her.

"She's going to have to find out about the baby..." I half whispered, half moaned.

Mikey sighed.

"If you really don't want to tell her, i'll just say that you were feeling bad so I told you, you could come round so I could make you feel better."

I nodded.

"We'll do that."
