*Ch.9 Feeling Uneasy*
Sam paced around his room, a little panicked. Something just didn't feel right, and he couldn't figure out what. He hoped that if he thought about it hard enough, he would eventually have a slight idea of what it could be.
Taurtis had told him to ignore the feeling. That it was probably just nothing. But Sam knew this couldn't be true. The feeling was to intense. His gut was trying to desperately tell him something. Now he just had to crack the code.
Much to Taurtis's displeasure, Sam had decided to spend the day at home, to work out this feeling. As a result, Taurtis had gone with his father to work, so even if Sam wanted to hangout with Taurtis, it was no longer an option.
Sam flopped down on his bed, grabbing one of the pillows and screaming into it. He was frustrated, to say the least. He really felt the he should know why this is happening, it's right under his nose.
There was a knock on the door, one of the workers poked their head in to check on Sam, who flashed a small smile to show he was fine.
"Think Sam, think," He chanted to himself.
If only things could be a little easier, like if he had a machine or something that could just simply tell him what was wrong. Then again, if things worked like that, a lot of things would be easier. But alas, nothing like that is around, at least Sam didn't think so anyway.
Sam tilted his head when he heard his phone ring. Taurtis wouldn't call him since he's helping his dad, Grian had a big project he was working on, so Sam's mind fell to the only other people that would call him.
His stomach twisted as he reached for the phone. He began to realize that this, this is what his gut was trying to warn him about. But by the time he figured that out, he already had the phone to his ear, and the word "Hello" had already slipped through.
-----
Taurtis was a little sad that Sam wanted to stay home today, but then again, he did enjoy helping his father out. His dad work for a publishers, he was one of the graphic designer for the websites as well as a few magazines.
The job was kinda cool, but Taurtis wasn't really interested in it. He more so liked to watch his dad work. He had a very chaotic style of working, but there was method to his madness.
While his father was on the phone, talking to one of the writers, trying to sort out some sort of problem, and Taurtis had gotten bored of playing with some pens his dad gave him to scribble with, Taurtis decided to look through his phone. More specifically, his photos, especially an album titled 'Bunny Boy.'
A smile spread across Taurtis's face as he scrolled through the pictures. Most of which were cute pictures of Sam or pictures of him and Sam. Though a few were ones that Sam would surely kill him if he ever found out Taurtis had kept them.
Taurtis's eyes flicked off the screen when he heard his dad place his phone back down. Taurtis slipped his phone into his pocket and continued to watch and scribble away. Completely unaware of what was going, and the consequences that have only just begun.
