Sam breath caught in his throat as he stared at the now open door. Inside he was screaming, but on the outside, he was frozen, mimicking a deer in headlights. Taurtis's grip on Sam tightened, bringing Sam out of his frozen state.

Sam gulped as Mr. Hoth stood straight up. It seemed that Mr. Hoth was also surprised to see the two together. He entered the room and closed the door gently behind him.

He looked at the two with a frown, clearing his throat, "Do you want to do this the easy way or the hard way?"

"I'm not leaving without Sam," Taurtis growled.

"I was afraid of that," Mr. Hoth mumbled.

"Mr. Hoth, please understand. I mean, I know you probably won't, but this will just happen again. There is nothing you can do to stop this," Sam pleaded. He didn't know why he bothered, but he had to try.

"I'm afraid I can't do that. Your parents told me to keep you from him. I'm going to have to take you with me," Mr. Hoth said.

"But.." Sam began but Mr. Hoth held up a hand to stop him.

"Or... I guess I could turn a blind eye and just let you two run off. You're right, there is nothing I can do to stop this, you'll just find another way," Mr. Hoth continued.

"You'd really do that?" Taurtis raised an eyebrow.

"Why not. Who am I to stand in the way of love. Be good to each other," Mr. Hoth smiled.

"Thank you so much," Sam beamed.

Taurtis tugged on Sam's arm, "Come on, we have to go now."

Sam said a last goodbye to Mr. Hoth, before following Taurtis out. They ran to a parking lot where Yuki and the others were waiting.

"What took you guys so long?" Yuki asked.

"We ran into a little trouble, but it cleared up pretty fast," Taurtis said, wrapping his arm around Sam.

"Well that's good, but we're losing time, they'll start looking for us soon," Salex said.

"Yeah, in the car everyone," Grian motioned form everyone to pile in.

Sam couldn't believe it, they actually made it out. Sunlight hit Sam face, waking him out of his sleep. He lifted his head off its place on Taurtis's shoulder. They still had a long way to go. According to Yuki, they were traveling to Tokyo, and from there they would hop on a plane, and it was off to America. J had managed to pull a few strings in order to arrange it all, but everything was set.

Sam knew this adventure was far from over. Though Salex had managed to get them all jobs at a company her father owned there, they had no idea how they were going to make it. It was going to be difficult, but Sam had confidence that they could do it. After all, he had Taurtis by his side, just by that, he knew they could accomplish anything.
