Thomas's (POV)

I couldn't sleep knowing (Y/N) was in even more danger.. knowing I can save her.. I'm going to save my Little Sister..

So I quietly get up not trying to wake any of the gladers..

I start packing my bag placing snacks, waters, my gun, and extra ammo..

I get ready to leave I'm surprised as I'm stopped by Logan and Laura?.. I say to myself..

"We want to go with you!" Logan says a determined look in his eyes..

Laura then comes up to and replies..

"What Loggy means is that we want to help you save Mommy!" Before I can say anything they both quickly run to a bush and come back with two separate small backpacks..

Laura looks up at me saying "Uncle Thomas we promise to listen to you if any trouble happens! We just want to help you save Mommy!"

I smile at her realizing I'm going to lose this argument with two five year olds.. and I would never hear the end of it..

"Fine you both can come along." I tell them..

Logan and Laura both look at me with big smiles on their faces..

We make our way toward a city further outside the Safe Haven..

A few hours later I make sure the twins are asleep as I quietly slip away and head toward the city a small distance from where we are.

Once I arrive at the front door I don't even see it but I feel a strong powdered electric bullet hit my body but something's different about this bullet.

I must've been out for a few minutes because when I wake up I notice I'm in a room but the walls are blurry and I'm tied to a chair..

"Just SHUCKING great I'm in this situation again." I think to myself.

Trying to think where I am.. plus who now has captured me? And finally How am I going to get out of this?

I hear the door open followed by footsteps. Followed by a female voice.

"Thomas here I am thinking I was going to have to send my guards out looking for you and your friends then you appear on my doorstep like a perfectly wrapped present."

I can tell from her comment she's smiling..

I look over at the women still unable to SEE her..

We then both hear the door open.

I listen as I hear another pair of footsteps.. but something's different about this new pair of footsteps..

They are Smaller than then Mine..

Then the voice.. Her voice there's No Mistake..

"Miss Tempest.. " I turn and see (Y/N) but she's aged back to 6 years old..

She sees me and looks terrifies..

I somehow get out of my restraints and make my way to (Y/N)..

Just when I'm about to reach her I feel intense pain go through my body.. and I'm brought to the floor..

                    Y/N'S (POV)

I watch as the boy from the picture I drew hours earlier falls to the ground.

I look and see Miss Tempest holding an electric stick in her hand..

Instantly I feel my feet go right to the boy and before Miss Tempest can shock the boy again I'm standing in front of him..

"NO! LEAVE TOMMY ALONE!" I yell.

Tempest nods her head and a pair of hands grab me and I'm taken away from Tommy.. My Protector, My Brother.

The guard carries me down the long hallways but instead of taking me back to my room he takes me to a room and sets me down then locks the door..

As soon as I'm on my feet I look around and see that I'm in a room with extra uniforms.

I look up at the Wicked soldier and start crying..

"Why is Tommy in Trouble again?" I ask..

The soldier looks down at me and takes off his helmet and smiles..

"(Y/N) I promise I will get both of you out of here and back to the gladers."

"What's your name?" I ask him.

The soldier sighs "I can't tell you that it could put you in even more danger. But I will tell you that you can call me G."

G walks over and hands me a shirt, vest, pants, and a helmet..

"Here these should fit." He tells me.

I look at him confused.

"You wanna see your Thomas don't you? Get dressed I'll take you." After he tells me this I quickly get dressed and we walk down a few hallways then we arrive at a door where G uses his key card to access it.

It opens and when I go in I see Tommy lying on a bed with his eyes closed and he's hooked up to monitors probably to hurt him if he tries to escape.

"Tommy I'm sorry this happened again. I promise I'm gonna get us out of here." I say tears spilling from my eyes.

Just as I'm about to leave I hear Miss Tempest approaching the door..

I quickly I hide under the bed then Miss Tempest enters the room.

"It seems my brother was right Thomas is quite strong. And his little sister is his weakness." Tempest says to G who has entered the room.

I watch as G walks over to Thomas and checks his eyes like a doctor would..

"Miss Tempest it seems the subject has gone blind." G says..

"What do you mean he's blind?" Tempest asks furry lacing her voice.

"His eyes aren't following the Light when I shine it in his eyes." G says.

"Interesting Thomas is blind. Well he's NO use to me get rid of him."
She tells G.

With that Tempest leaves the room.

As soon as Tempest is gone I come out from under the bed and I look from Tommy to G and back to Tommy..

As I squeeze his hand.. You can't do what she said "I need him. He's my brother. PLEASE help us."

I watch as G pulls out a knife scared I get in front of Thomas..

G puts his hands up then explains

"Easy (Y/N) I'm just going to cut the leads off of Thomas because if he moves they will send a massive electric shock through his body."

I nod my head in understanding..

G also frees Thomas from his restraints as well..

Then both me and G on either side of Tommy we make our way to the main door of the building.

And Freedom.
