A L E X I S

I shrieked slightly as I was lifted from the ground. I snapped back to reality and saw that Krista had picked me up. I looked over her shoulder and saw Daddy staring at me giving me a 'be nice' look.

"Hi Krista. You look pretty," I said while glancing back at Daddy. He smiled at me as we started making our way back to the car.

"Awe! Thank you! You look so cute in your dress!" Krista said enthusiasticly.

Daddy's probably making her be nicer too.

"Thank you," I said politely.

I will still have manners even though I don't like the person.

We made it to the car and Krista put me in my car seat and buckled me up. I gave her a fake smile as she closed the door.

Daddy got in as well as Krista and he started the car.

A voice echoed in my head, I sighed and looked out my window. Only able to see power lines, trees and the sky but I can't really see anything else anyway.

The car came to a hault as Daddy's and Krista's doors opened. I sat back and waited for one of them to open my door. The sky outside was black with white dots littered around.

I yawned as I heard the sound of car door closing. I closed my eyes and feel asleep, leaning on the seatbelt.

I shut my car door and jogged around to the passengers side. I opened the door for Krista and held out my arm.

"M'lady," I said and Krista let out a small laugh and took my arm. I closed her door and opened Alexis's door only to 'Aww' mentally on how cute she looked sleeping. She had her (Correct me if I'm wrong I'm speed writing to get a chapter out for 500 views before I leave for a party[which I've failed to do seeing as its the next day -_-]) chocolate brown hair over her right eye and her head was tilted to the side slightly, her hands were folded loosely on her lap and she looked so peaceful. I picked her up and rested her chin on my shoulder. Alexis than buried her face in the crook of my neck. I had Krista's arm around mine as I carried Alexis with the other and walked into the restaurant. I walked over to the hostess while readjusting my grip on Alexis.

"Hello, reservations for Max LaPlume," I said as the lady nodded. She grabbed two normal menus and a kids menu with a small pack of crayons.

"Follow me," The hostess smiled and walked us over to a booth with a fancy looking light hanging over the middle of the table. I thanked her and slid into the booth with Alexis, Krista taking a seat across from me. I sat Alexis in between my legs for a bit before she woke up. She smiled up at me before yawning and leaning back on my stomach.

"I wanna go home, I'm tired," Alexis said yawning after.

"We just got here sweetie, we will leave when we finish eating," I said kissing the top of her head.

"Okay..." Alexis said quietly. I sat her next to me and placed the kids menu in front of her, opening the pack of crayons and placing them next to the menu. Alexis sat up on her knees and grabbed the crayons and started drawing on the empty menu spaces.

"What drinks can I start you guys off with today?" A waitress asked with a smile on her face. She had long curly brown hair, btown eyes and light makeup.

"Two waters and... what do you want to drink?" I asked Krista. She looked up at me from behind her menu.

"I'll have a water too," Krista said kindly.

"So three waters. Would you like me to get a booster seat for this little one?" She asked kindly looking at Alexis.

"Sure and could one water be in a kids cup?" I asked and she nodded.

"Of course, I'll be right back with those," the waitress said before walking off to another table.

"What are you getting?" I asked Krista. I'll admit it, I was nervous about the date. The only thing keeping me from glowing red every five second would probably be Alexis. Having to keep an eye on her so I'm not focased completely on Krista. Her brown flowing hair with her light blueish grayish eyes sparkling and-

"Are you done staring yet?" Krista asked and my face flushed red. I looked over at Alexis to 'make sure she's okay' when in reality I'm trying to hide my blushing face.

"Daddy? Whys your face all red?" Alexis asked and Krista started laughing.

"Hey! Don't laugh at me! It's not my fault your to beautiful for me to handle!" I almost shouted. Alexis looked away and now Krista was the one blushing. "Hah! Got'eem!"

"Max now is not the time for memes!" Krista said laugh, her face tinted pink.

"I'll be right back, I'm gonna go to the washroom," I said standing up from the booth.

"No don't-" I heard Alexis yell as I walked towards the men's washrooms.

"-go..." I sighed and leaned against the wall.

"Why do you hate me?" I heard Krista ask after a bit of silence.

"Because," I said plainly while looking up at her.

"But why? I didn't do anything to you," Krista asked and I scoffed.

"Yes you did," I said looking down at my hands.

"What did I do?" Krista asked.

"Stuff."

"What kind of stuff?"

"Just stuff. Why would I tell you? You're the one who did it, shouldn't you know what you did?"

"Well I don't so tell me?"

"I can't because then you will do it even more."

"And if you don't tell me then how can I not do it?"

"BECAUSE YOU ARE GOING TO TRY EVEN HARDER!" I yelled slamming my hand onto the table, standing up in the booth.

"Doing what?" Krista asked raising an eyebrow at me, I sighed.

"You are going to take Daddy from me, either hurt him, break up with him or cheat on him like all the others! Leaving me to CLEAN UP HIS BROKEN HEART AFTER YOU'RE DONE PLAYING WITH HIM LIKE A TOY! I have to put him back together again and make him smile, make him laugh. I don't like seeing his sad. It hurts me just as much as it hurts him."
