3d POV

Tim walks into the house with Alexis, who fell asleep shortly after being picked up, being held with one arm and all her baby stuff on his other. Tim closes the front door, looking back before doing so at Max's car. Tim sets the baby bag at the front entrance and starts walking towards Alexis' room. Laying her down in her crib Tim turns on a music box, turning off the light leaving Alexis for her afternoon nap.

The front door opens again only to fill part of the house with voices. Tim looks around the corner to find Ross and Shelby walking in.

"Hey guys," Tim greets them cheerfully.

"Oh my god it's Tim!" Shelby says in the best deep voice she could muster up talking to a camera she's holding.

"Hey Tim," Ross greets with a wave, taking off his jacket and hanging it up on the coat rack. "Have you seen Max and Alexis? The doctors appointment should have been done by now."

"Yeah! I wanna meet Alexis!" Shelby chirped walking more into the house.

"Max left?" Tim said walking over to the front door, opening it only to find an empty driveway. "He came back a bit ago, told me to bring Alexis inside for him."

"Oh... he'll be back later I assume," Ross said as Shelby and Tim nodded in response.

"Where's Alexis?" Shelby asked still holding the camera; probably filming a 'Meeting Alexis' video for her channel.

"She's down for her afternoon nap," Tim said walking into the living room.

"Ohhhh. Okay I'll just go unpack in the mean time. See you guys in a bit," Shelby bid them farewell, walking into the guest room she always goes to. The guys remembered that, making the other guest room Alexis' room.

Tim and Ross chatted for a bit and ordered some food for dinner.

Shelby unpacked, hanging in her room for a bit playing on her phone.

Tim looked at the time and went to go wake up Alexis. Tim went over to Shelby's guest room and knocked on the door.

"I'm going to go wake up Alexis if you wanna come meet her now," Tim told Shelby getting a 'be there in a sec'. Tim waited patiently in the hallway waiting for Shelby. Once Shelby came out of her room they started walking to Alexis' room. Shelby had he camera in hand, recording the journey there. Tim opened the door only to find Alexis still asleep.

"Alexis~ it's time to wake up~" Tim said softly picking up Alexis, shaking her lightly. Alexis' blue grey eyes opened slowly to see Tims smiling face and one she doesn't recognize. "Alexis this is, I guess, Auntie Shelby. Shelby this is baby Alexis."

"She's so cute!" Shelby gushed over Alexis. Alexis smiled happily at the attention she is getting from her and reaches towards Shelby making grabby hand. Shelby smiles at Alexis and pick her up from Tim, holding her with one arm because of the camera she is still holding. Shelby plays with Alexis for a bit until they get called down for dinner. Tim left when Shelby started playing with Alexis knowing that Alexis is in good hands and they'll entertain each other for hours.

Time flies by quickly and it's already time for everyone to go to bed. Everyone gets ready for bed saying their good nights before turning in. Alexis and Shelby are the last to turn in because they kept playing and took forever to change clothes and get ready.

After they finally finished getting set up for bed, Shelby tucks Alexis into her bed. Turning on her night light and music box while turning off the bright light. Shelby left Alexis to sleep making her way to the room she was using and fell asleep quickly. Right after Shelby's head hit the pillow she was out like a light.

Alexis' Dream

"Alexandria, we need to get you back out there. You're losing you scythe and cloak."

"My name is not Alexandria!"

"It is and you know it. Let's send you out there again? I'm... how you say, running low on souls."

"I'm done with doing your bidding."

"You're turning into an angel, sweetie."

"I know and that's how it should be. I'm never making a deal with the devil ever again. He didn't even keep up his half of the bargain."

"I told you not to trust him."

"I told you not to trust me."

"Alexandria-"

"I said don't call me that."

"Just because your mortal father gave that name to you doesn't mean it's your real, birth name."

"I'm leaving-"

"Remember our deal!"

"The deal was off after you killed my family- my mortal family before the ones I have now. Do it again and I'll have your head."

"I wasn't planning on it. Just... watch your surroundings child."

Everything faded to black...

"Waaahhhh! WAAAAAAHHH!" Alexis wailed from the nightmare she had just awoken from.

Everyone in the house was fast asleep except for Shelby who was startled from the loud crying. Shelby jogged over to Alexis room and opened the door. Alexis was standing in her crib wailing loudly. Alexis turned towards Shelby and stuck her arms out towards her. Shelby scooped the infant up from the crib and cradled Alexis in her arms. Comforting the small child, whispering soothing things to Alexis, Alexis calmed down in Shelby's arms smiling at her.

"Yay!" Shelby cheered quietly. "No more tears!" Shelby smiled at her small victory, thinking the guys have had to do this multiple times. Seeing that Alexis may not fall back asleep for a while, Shelby exited the room and made her way to the kitchen.

Shelby sat Alexis on the kitchen island, turning on the kitchen lights first, and walked over to the fridge. Shelby pulled out the carton of milk and poured some in a bottle. Shelby put the bottle into the microwave to warm it up a bit.

Shelby jumps slightly when she hears the front door open.

"What the hell?" Some one says in a deep, scratchy voice.

"Whose there?" Shelby questions keeping her voice down, not really wanting to wake the others if it's not a stranger.

"Shelby?" The voice asked again turning the corner. It's Max. His hair is ruffled and matted, his face is somewhat tear stained and his clothes and as he comes closer his breath reeks of alcohol.

"Max? What are you doing here so late at night? You should-" Shelby jumps, stopping mid sentence from the beeping of the microwave.

"What is Alexis doing here!" Max nearly shouts spotting Alexis sitting on the kitchen island.

"She woke up crying not to long ago so I calmed her down and I'm warming up a bottle for her right now," Shelby replied calmly, checking the temperature of the milk before giving it to Alexis. Max snatches the bottle from Shelby and tries feeding Alexis. Shelby stops him immediately.

"Max, stop. You breath smells like beer and I don't think you should taking care of Alexis like this." Shelby picks up Alexis, setting Alexis on her hip.

"She's my kid give her to me!" Max argues back trying to grab Alexis from Shelby.

"Max stop it! You can have Alexis back when you are able take care of yourself," Shelby says calmly, talking the bottle from Max's hand and walking back to Alexis' room. Max stands in the middle of the kitchen shocked. He stands still looking in front of him. Tears fill his eyes at the thought that comes into his head.

I'm not good enough...

My girlfriend left me for some guy 2x my size and my child got taken from me because I can't keep myself together.

SHE WAS CRYING AND I WASN'T THERE TO COMFORT HER!

Tears flood Max's eyes once again as he slides down the kitchen cupboard doors and onto the floor. Max runs a hand through his hair and let's out a shaky breath. He kicks the wall in front of him. Hard.

"Why can't I do anything right?" Max says to himself quietly.

Sorry for the spelling and grammar mistakes, I finished writing this last night and I had to go straight to bed. I didn't have time to edit and I wanted to post first thing in the morning. So guys I think I'm going to focus more on this book than my other book MHBBC (My Hidden Baby Boy Calum) because this book is almost at 100 views (80 as of typing this) where my other book hasn't passed 20 views yet (19 as of writing this) so my focus will be more on this book. That's all I guess... Merry after Christmas so... Merry Boxing Day lol.
