I pull up to the school and park in the parking lot. I walk over to the desk and talk to the secratary.

"Excuse me ma'am," I said politely making her look up at me.

"Hello, how can I help you?" She asked kindly.

"Im looking for Miss Autumn's Pre-school and Daycare, can you tell me where that is?" I asked her.

"Room 218. Go straight down the hall. Make a left at the four way hall way and make another left. Last door on your right," She said and I nodded.

"Clean up everyone!" A voice called as I rounded the corner, after getting lost three time to the point a student had to guide me.

"Clean up! Clean up! Everybody everywhere! Clean up! Clean up! Everybody do your share!" Singing came from the classroom as I walked into the classroom. Children's artwork covered the walls as well as some fall themed decorations spread around the room.

"Hey Ross!" Adam called from the back of the class.

"Are you Mr. Botsford?" A lady asked and I nodded.

I walked over to Adam and he pulled me into a hug.

"How've you been man?" Adam asked after a bro hug.

"Pretty good, how 'bout you?"

"Good good."

"Uncle Woss?" Alexis looked at me questiongly as Mason turned towards me and started running at me.

"Uncle Ross!!!!!" Mason yelled giving me a hug.

"Hey bud!" I returned the hug and Alexis looked back at the door.

"Where's Daddy? He said he was going to pick me up!" Alexis said crossing her arms over her chest.

"No Max is out right now he has been all da-"

"Max said he was recording with you, Tim and Shelby," Adam piped up cutting me off.

"He wasn't supposed to record today. Its his day off, we even uploaded for him today," I said as Alexis frowned.

"He not picking me up AND he lied to me?" Alexis said quietly.

"Okay everyone home time! Grab your backpack and wait for your parents to pick you up," the lady said and all the kids ran to the coat racks. Mason grabbed Alexis' wrist and dragged her over to the coat racks.

Mason ran back to Adam and Adam picked him up. Alexis walked back to me and held onto my finger.

"Bye Miss Autumn!" Mason beamed as Alexis gave a small smile and a wave.

"Good bye Mason, bye Alexis," who I'm guessing is Miss Autumn said waving back.

"Bye Ross-"

"BYE UNCLE RAWS!!!" Mason and Adam bid their farewell and left for their car.

"Are you mad Lex?" I asked as I helped her into my car.

"No just sad I guess. Daddy said he would pick me up and-"

"Are you not happy to see me?" I asked with a fake frown.

"No no no no! Thats not what I meant! I'm happy to see you Uncle Woss," Alexis quickly said, panicking.

"Okay good. Who wants icecream?" I asked.

"Me pwease!" Alexis happily shouted.

"Next stop icecream parlor!"

"Yay!"

I closed Alexis' door and walked over to the drivers seat.

"I scream, you scream! We all scream for icecream!" Alexis chanted from the back seat. I had my phone out recording but the camera was facing me from my lap.

When we pulled up and parked I stopped the recording and opened my car door. I walked around to Alexis' door, opened it only to see her tugging on the seat belt.

I unbuckled her and helped her out. I picked her up and walked into the parlor.

"I want the cotton candy one pwease Uncle Woss," Alexis said pointing to the flavour.

"Hi, welcome to City Life Icecream parlor what can I get you today?" A guy behind the counter said.

"One cotton candy kids cone and one scoop rocky road please."

"Coming right up!" The guy said and started scooping the cotton candy icecream out of the tub. He handed it to me and I gave it to Alexis.

"Okay, now go sit down while I pay," I set Alexis down and she walked over to and sat at a two seater table. She stared at her icecream and waited for me to sit down. I took a picture of her looking at her icecream as the guy finished scooping mine.

(I know it doesn't look the greatest but I tried :P)

"Here you are sir that will be four-seventy-five please," the employee said and I took the money out of my wallet and took the icecream from him. "Thank you," he said and I took my icecream and sat with Alexis. I took out my phone and turned on the camera.

"Smile Lex," Alexis looked up at the camera and smiled, already having icecream on her nose and around her mouth.

I took a picture, turned on my data and posted the picture and video on Twitter.

We finished our icecream, I cleaned Alexis' face off and started leaving.

Alexis ran inside and flopped onto the couch face first next to Tim who was watching TV.

"Hey Lex! How was school?" Tim asked turning towards her chuckling lightly.

"Mhmmm," Alexis said muffled because she kept her face down on the couch.

"Thats cool. Did you make any new friends?"

"Nmmm-mmm."

"Oh really? What did you do?"

"Mhmmm- hummmmmm."

"Okay then," Tim said making me burst out laughing.

"How can you tell what she's saying?" I asked sitting nest to Alexis and rubbed her back gently.

"I can't," Tim chuckled and turned back to the TV.

After a while Alexis ended up falling asleep with her head on my lap as I scrolled through social media. I kept rubbing her back in circles as the front door opened.

"I'm home!" Max yelled from the front door making Alexis stir but stayed asleep. Tim shushed Max from the kitchen.

"Alexis is sleeping right now," Tim shushed Max.

"She's mad at you Max," I said as he turned towards me with a confused look on his face.

"Why?" He asked walking closer to me.

"She found out you lied Max."

"How?"

"We weren't recording Max- well you weren't. When I picked her up she asked me about it. I'm going to get her to bed," I pick up Alexis and start carrying her upstairs.

"It's okay I got it," Max took the sleeping Alexis from me and made his way over to her room.

"There's supposed to be a storm tonight. Keep a flashlight with you," Tim said tossing me a flashlight.

"Okay, thanks man," Tim nodded and dissapeared upstairs.

CRASH

BANG

A flash of light

CRASH

This woke Alexis up quickly. A tear slipped out of her eye.

BANG

Memories of being left outside alone flashed in front of her face.

FLASH

"Daddy?" Alexis called quietly. No answer.

CRASH

"Daddy?" Alexis said a bit louder. No response.

BANG

Alexis grabbed her bear and blanket, making a mad dash out of her room.

Alexis ran to Max's room making somewhat loud steps, once she made it to Max's room barging in.

"Daddy?" Alexis stood in the door way.

"Whats the matter pumpkin?" Max sat up to face her.

"I'm sc-ared, can I stay with yo-u?" Alexis asked through her sobs.

FLASH

"Come here baby girl," Max opened his arms towards Alexis. She ran over his bedside and jumped into his arms.

CRASH

Alexis flinched from the loud noise, whimpering.

Max pulled her close to him and fell back asleep. Alexis stayed awake in his arms looking at her bear.

BANG

Alexis gasped quietly and pulled the bear closer to her. After calming herself down a bit, she curled up in Max's grip.

"I fowgive you Daddy," Alexis said quietly, falling asleep in her fathers arms.

Feeling nothing but warm, loved and safe.

(That pose kind of thing yeah)

What I want to do is draw maybe one picture or scene. Only when I thing it needs to be emphasized or something.
