Max's POV

My head was pounding and my stomach was turning and twisting. I groan in pain until I just can't take it anymore. I stand up and make a mad dash to the bathroom, emptying my stomach contents into the toilet. I sit back in the bathroom and catch my breath. After a while I flush the toilet and get up to brush my teeth. After I finish brushing my teeth I disinfect the toilet and leave the bathroom.

I walk back into the kitchen and grab my phone off the ground and put it back into my pocket. My head continued to pound as I took out the Tylenol and a glass of water. I took out two Tylenols and took them with a gulp of water.

"Morning Max," I jump at the sudden voice and look over and see it's Ross.

"Hey Ross," I greeted back with a slight wave.

"Did you hear anything loud noise last night?" Ross asked and I shook my head.

"Naw I got here pretty late last night," I replied wondering if the noise was Alexis crying or me and Shelby yelling at each other.

"Oh where did you last night? Tim said you dropped of Alexis and disappeared," Ross asked genuinely curious.

"I- you know Chloe?" I asked and Ross nodded. "Well... she was cheating on me-" my voice kept cracking and it took a lot out of me not to burst out in tears in front of Ross. "For 6 months and- and- I-" I couldn't take it anymore. I knew I was going to burst into tears so... I ran. I ran straight into my room, locking the door. I slid down the door feeling the knocks and hearing the calls from Ross on the other side of the door.

"Max! It's okay! She doesn't deserve you! Open the door so we can talk!" Ross tried to reason but I ignored him.

"Leave me alone Ross! I don't want to talk!" I yelled back at him.

"Max, open the door!"

"FUCK OFF ROSS!"

Crying filled my ears as I became fully alert. My dad senses were going off and I wanted to see what happened to Alexis, who probably was the one crying.

"Could you guys be quieter! You woke Alexis up!" Shelby yelled as the crying started to die down. Ross kept trying to get me to talk but I wouldn't budge.

Eventually Ross left while I sulked in my room crying. I cried myself to sleep multiple times waking up from the naps only to cry more. I stayed in my room all day, thanks to Tim who uploaded the video that was supposed to go up on my channel for me, I had no real reason to leave my room. I woke up again only to find darkness in my room.

It was late at night and the moon and stars were bright outside my window, lighting up my whole room. I stared up at the ceiling thinking to myself as tears continued to roll down my face.

Meanwhile on the other side of the house days later

Third Person

Alexis laid awake in her crib. Growing bored and started to miss her father. She hasn't seen him for three days and to her it felt like months. Alexis grabbed her teddy bear and yellow blanket and started trying to get out of her crib. She pushed the bear and blanket over the crib railing and started climbing over.

She landed on the ground with a soft 'poof'. She started crawling towards the door with the teddy bear on her back and blanket in her mouth. She navigated the hallways and rooms until she found the most familiar one to her. It's was her fathers bed room.

Inside she could hear sniffles and harsh intakes of breaths. She sat in front of the door and started patting it. She patted the door and started knocking louder.

Max sat up in bed and said a 'go away' to the person hitting the door. What he would normally do when someone was trying to talk to him or get him out of his room. The knocking continued until Max nearly shouted 'Leave me alone!'.

Alexis tried to think of ways to get the door open. She stuck her hand under the door trying to open it.

This caught Max's attention seeing the little hand peek out from under the door. Max got up from bed and dragged himself over to the door.

When Alexis heard the footsteps she retracted her arm and waited for the door to open.

Max opened the door only to find Alexis' smiling face and her arms outstretched towards him. Her blanket laid next to her and her bear sat behind her. Max leaned down and picked up Alexis from the ground feeling a smile creep onto his face as she buried her face into the crook of his neck. Max bent down and picked up the bear and blanket and threw them on his bed. He closed and locked the door and sat on his bed. Alexis looked back and Max smiling, she planted a kiss on his cheek and rested her head on his shoulder.

"You my angel, are the only girl I'll ever need in my life. I love you Alexis so much. Much more than words can ever express," Max said softly. His voice was hoarse and scratchy, and it would be obvious he was crying for so long in his voice if you couldn't tell from his red, tear stained face.

Max smiled to himself and started to lay down on his bed. He moved Alexis to his side and put an arm around her protectively and closed his eyes. Alexis hugged the bear close to her and started to fall asleep as well.

"WHERE'S ALEXIS? SHE WAS IN HER ROOM LAST NIGHT! Max is going to KILL us if Alexis is actually lost!" Ross panicked in Alexis' empty room in the morning. Tim was passing by when Ross yelled making Tim break into a sprint towards Ross. Together they tore up Alexis' room looking for her.

Max woke up from the yelling and sat up. Max smiled down at Alexis who was fast asleep next to him on the mattress.

He could hear Shelby joining the search for Alexis around the house.

Max grabbed his phone and sent Ross a quick text.

Max: Alexis is fine. She's with me. She came knocking on my bedroom door last night

Ross: Thank god she's okay. She came to your room last night?

Max: Yeah she must of missed me

Ross: Well you were locked away in your room for tree days

Ross: THREE*

Max: Sorry about that. I really shouldn't let some slut like her keep me down

Max: I'll be out in a bit

Ross: YAYYYYYYYY

Max: You're making me rethink my decision Ross

Ross: See yeah Max

Max: See you Ross

"SHE'S OKAY GUYS! SHE WAS WITH MAX!" Ross called from the house.

Max stood up and stretched. He yawned while making his way over to his dresser. Max pulled a shirt over his head and picked up Alexis, who was still asleep, cradling her in his arms.

Max walked to the bathroom to see what was disaster was left from his breakdown.

Max splashed his face with cold water a couple times with Alexis sitting on the counter now awake. Tired but her eyes were open. Alexis yawned and stretched on the counter watching Max splash his face.

"Gah its cold," Max said finishing off and drying his face in his towel. Alexis giggled slightly as she watched Max pull his face away from the towel. Max's face was now even more red and his hair line was wet from the sink water and his hair in general was fluffy from his bed head.

"What's so funny?" Max asked walking over to Alexis only to catch a glimpse of himself in the mirror. "Is it my hair?" Max asked raising an eyebrow at his daughter only to get giggles and a slight nod. Max grabbed a comb out of a drawer and started to drag it through his reddish brownish hair. After fixing his hair he struck a weird pose in front of Alexis. "How do I look?" Max asked sassily only to get laughs from Alexis making him smile. "Lets go get something to eat. Shall we?" Max picked up Alexis and started making his way to the kitchen.

"Morning everybody!" Max chipped walking into the kitchen occupied by Ross, Tim and Shelby.

"You seem happier than yesterday," Tim said turning off his phone that he was previously looking at.

"Life's too short to mope about one small thing that's gone when your missing the whole picture. Chole is now a thing of the past and I'm living in the present! History is history. Can't change anything so why get caught up in it?" Max said placing Alexis in her high chair placing cereal and animal crackers on the tray.

"Couldn't have said it better myself. Are we bringing Alexis to PAX with us?" Ross asked.

"I'm not too sure. But if we do we need to get noise canceling headphones for her," Max said.

"I'll go order some online so incase we do take her we'll have it with us," Tim said turning on his phone again.

"Thanks Tim," Max said making some cereal for himself.

"No problem man," Tim replied going on Amazon.

"What's the plan for today?" Max asked taking a bite from his cereal.

"You mister need to record some more videos. We uploaded all you backup ones for you," Shelby said in her high pitched, cheery voice.

"Heh yeah," Max said dragging the 'a' in yeah. "Who wants to collab?" Max asked clapping his hands together.

"Shed and Zed?" Shelby asked.

"Sure. I'll be ready in a bit. I'm going to go change mine and Alexis' clothes," Max said scooping Alexis up from her high chair and made his way over to the stairs.

A/N

I'm extremely sorry for my absence on Wattpad and the no warning. My dad was switching not only my phone plan but my phone as well. I ended up going about three days without my phone and any source of communication to the internet and I'm extremely sorry for no warning. I'll be offline almost all of tomorrow because I'm going skiing with my dad, my brother, two of his friends and my second cousin so I'll be gone for a bit.

Longer chapter so I hope it makes up for my absence.
