"Hey guys, Ross here! I thought I might stream on Periscope for a bit and just talk and answer some questions!"
Ross smiled at his phone as the TV played in the background somewhat quietly.
Max and Tim were still asleep, so Ross had started watching some cartoons with Alexis in the living room.
Alexis laid her head on Ross' lap, eating some grapes from the bowl Ross had gotten her, while facing the TV.
Ross gently played with Alexis' hair as he talked to the live stream.
"Everyone else is asleep, so it's just me and Lex chillin' with some morning cartoons," Ross said, pointing the camera down at Alexis.
All of Alexis' attention was on the television, which was playing some reruns of Gravity Falls.
"Wanna say hi to the livestream, Lex?" Ross asked quietly. Alexis looked up at Ross and smiled.
"Hi people," Alexis greeted, waving to the camera. She smiled warmly, placing a grape in her mouth as Ross started answering people's questions.

Alexis sat on top of the counter, watching Krista bathe Galileo. Alexis giggled at Gal's attempts to escape.
Max stood in front of the door, recording them the entire time. Occasionally, Max would point the camera at Alexis and they would have a little conversation, ending with laughter of some sort.
It was getting late in the evening and Krista had just fallen asleep while leaning on Max's shoulder.
She had been watching him edit the video he'd taken of her bathing the doggo.
Max picked Krista up and carried her to his room and set her down on his bed, he then went back to his studio to finish editing.

"I do all the house work around here! I clean, cook, and maintain my channel while you guys sit on your asses all day! And you wanna know what I get? I get a thank you from Alexis and NO ONE ELSE!" I heard Uncle Ross shout from downstairs.
I was curled up in the corner of Daddy's bedroom. Krista was sleeping on Daddy's bed.
"I work too, Ross! I'm out working my second job so I can pay for rent and be able to feed my child! Some nights, Ross, I don't eat dinner because I don't have the money to feed both Alexis and myself!" I heard Daddy's muffled yell, as I pushed my hands over my ears, squeezing my head.
I felt a small tear slip out of my eye and roll down my cheek. "I also help out; I do all the yard work; cutting the grass and watering the plants! While Tim is sitting up in his recording studio almost all day!"
"I can barely pay rent because YouTube keeps fucking me over! I had to use donations from my stream to pay this month's rent!" Uncle Tim yelled back.
I pulled my knees to my chest, silently crying, waiting for them to stop yelling at each other.
"I ACTUALLY PAY YOU GUYS BACK WHEN I BORROW MONEY! BUT WHEN YOU ASK ME FOR MONEY, I NEVER SEE IT AGAIN!" a loud, muffled voice yelled. Next to me was my best friend; I snuggled into the stuffed bear.
Thunder crashed behind me as the yelling inside the house increased.
"I'm sorry, kiddo; I can't take care of you anymore. Good luck in your new life, Alexis," a familiar voice cooed, running as far and fast as possible away from me. He left me in my new life with a cat, and three guys.
The sky turned from dark grey to a purple-like black. While dots started to litter the sky, the volume of yelling inside increased with every passing second.
This was supposed to be the start of my new, better, and happier life...
Why does that have to be taken away from me?
It slipped right through my fingers and I don't know if I can get it back...

I wake up to yelling downstairs. Curious, I sit up, only to see that I'm not in Max's recording room anymore, but under the covers of his bed.
I look around the room and see Alexis in the corner, hugging her legs, her face hidden.
"Will you stop putting fucking words in my mouth?!" I heard a voice shout from downstairs.
Are they arguing about something? I wonder what happened.
"Please, make them stop. Someone, anyone...Make the voices stop," I heard Alexis plead quietly. I stood up and walked over to her.
"Alexis? Alexis, honey, it's going to be okay," I said, crouching in front of the small child. "This will all clear up soon; I promise," I told her comfortingly.
When she looked up at me, I almost broke into tears. Her face was covered in tear streaks and she looked like she had just finished crying and was about to start again; she was pushing her hands over her ears like her life depended on it, the most broken expression was on her face. I pulled her into and hug and rubbed circles on her back.
"Please, make them stop," Alexis whimpered out quietly, starting to cry. "I don't like it, it's scaring me. Please, Krista, make the voices stop."
"It's okay, Alexis; they'll stop eventually. Just keep your chin up and think positive," I said, mentally cringing at what I had just told a four year old.
The guys shouting only got louder as I cradled Alexis in my arms, rocking her back and forth. I cooed soothing things to her, but she kept crying.
Eventually, I had enough and picked up Alexis and grabbed my purse and phone. We made our way downstairs and towards the front door.
"Great, guys!" I heard Max yell. I'm guessing he saw us. "You woke up Krista and Lexi!"
"Why are you blaming us? You're the one who started it!" I heard Ross yell back as I grabbed Alexis' coat and my own.
"Where are you guys going?" I heard Max ask. I turned around and Alexis looked towards the three grown men she called family. Their expressions softened when they saw the look on Alexis' face.
"I'm taking Alexis out until you guys calm down. If push goes to shove, she'll stay the night at my dorm room," I said and grabbed Alexis' bag, the one Max took when he went out with Alexis, before walking out of the house.
(Turns out Krista doesn't actually have a car, so...)
The sky was dark as I carried Alexis down the sidewalk. Only now did I notice the blanket wrapped loosely around her neck and the bear she was hugging close to her chest.
I took out my phone and started looking up transit options, not feeling like walking all the way back to my dorm.
After a bit of walking, we stumbled upon a small playground.
"Wanna stay here for a bit?" I asked, looking down at Alexis. She nodded and took a shaky breath, trying her hardest to calm down and process the events that occurred in the past few hours.

Tanks for reading sorry for later chapter ._. Do not blame editor~chan. At first I was writing a complete different chapter but I already had 75% of this finished a while ago so I kinda scrapped the old chapter and finished writing this one :/
[EDITOR'S NOTE: Don't blame Ski for the late chapter. It's completely my fault; I was so stressed about the state tests that I forgot to edit this. So, sorry Ski and readers.]
