"Welcome back everyone!"Miss Autumn greeted as all the children ran into the room. "MR. DAULBERG! MR. DAULBERG! Wait!" Miss Autumn shouted stopping Adam in his tracks.

"Yes?" Adam turned back around to face her.

"Mason shouldn't be here- he should be attending kindergarten instead of pre-school," she explained quickly.

"I thought he just passed the cut off," Adam stated confused.

"They changed it this year to one week later. Its my fault I didn't contact you sooner," She apologized.

"Its fine- can I sign Mason up for kindergarten here?" Adam asked making her nod.

"For children joining the kindergarten here, the cut off is the end of the month. If you head over to the front office you can fill out a form to enroll Mason in kindergarten."

"Okay, Mason buddy c'mon," Adam made a hand motion towards Mason who just set his stuff down in the coat rack. "Grab your stuff too." Mason nodded and ran after Adam dragging his jacket behind him.

"Whewes Mason going Daddy?" Alexis asked as they passed them in the hallway.

"I don't know but if we don't hurry, you'll be late," picking up the pace, Max jogged over to the pre-school while Alexis was running to keep up with him.

"Hey Max! My friend is here!" Ross yelled from the front door.

"Coming!" Max yelled running out of his room and down the stairs. Once he reaches the bottom he stops in his tracks.

"Max this is-"

"Krista," Max said interrupting Ross.

"Yeah how'd you know?" Ross asked curiously.

"We ran into each other at a coffee shop a couple days ago," Krista said smiling making Ross smirk.

"Lets talk for a bit."

"Un-cle Moss!" Alexis shouted happily, dropping her bag off at the front door next to Tim who was taking his key out of the door.

"Moss? Go back to calling me Woss please," Ross said trying hard not to burst out laughing when he called him a ship name.

"Who dis?" Alexis asked walking into where all the adults were gathered. She pointed to Krista who was sitting on the floor across from her.

"What? Do I not get acknowledgement from my own daughter?" Max said opening his arms towards Alexis. She immediately turned and ran at him.

"DADDY!" Alexis shouted dragging out the 'a' and 'y' in daddy the entire time she was running. She jumped into his arms, engulfing each other in a hug.

"Hey baby girl, how was your day?" Max asked sitting her on his lap.

"Bowing, Mason got put in kindewgadten so I didn't know nobody," Alexis said resting her head on Max's shoulder. "Now tell me who dat is!"

"Hey Krista," Tim greeted dabbing right after. Krista did the same greeting him back.

"Go introduce yourself to her," Max's whispered in Alexis' ear. She shook her head. "At least try, will you do it for me?" Alexis thought for a moment before getting up from his lap and walking over to Krista. She had her arms behind her back and was tapping her toes, on her right foot, on the floor behind her.

Max, Tim and Ross watched in amusement as Alexis started talking.

"Hi, my name is Awexis, its nice to meet you," Alexis stuck her right arm out toward Krista. Krista shook her hand lightly with a friendly smile.

"Well, hello Alexis, my name is Krista and it's nice to meet you too," Krista said. Alexis gave her a toothy smile.

"Now hug!" Ross yelled from the background. Max smacked him in the face with a throw pillow. "Ow."

Alexis blushed a bright red before retreating into her fathers grasp, burying her face in his chest. Max smiled and kissed the top of her head.

"Thats my girl," Max whispered rubbing the side of her arm.

"Lets go out for dinner today! Max and Alexis can get to know Krista more and we can go have fun," Ross suggested making all the (physical) adults nod and start getting up. Max picked Alexis up and started getting her coat on and gathering his things as well.

Within a couple minutes, everybody was out the door and in the cars. They took Tim's car, because he had the booster seat for Alexis, and Krista's car because she was leaving after dinner to go back to her dorm. Ross and Max rode with Krista leaving Tim and Alexis alone in Tim's car.

Alexis turned fidgety in the silence so Tim ended up turning on the radio.

'I Don't Wanna Live Forever' by Taylor Swift and ZAYN came on. Alexis started singing loudly making Tim turn up the volume up, making sure its not too loud, and started rocking out to the music with her.

Alexis stopped singing mid song and closed her eyes, leaning back in her booster seat. Tim, thinking she fell asleep, turned the volume down a bit and focuses back onto the road.

In the other car Ross sat up front next to Krista with Max riding in the middle backseat. What they didn't notice was the semi truck speeding down the road at the intersection.

Alexis' soul left her body and quickly made it over to their car. She fused bodies with Ross, taking full control of him. She made Ross yank the steering wheel to the right. Krista slammed the breaks as they started to spin out on the mostly empty road. They were side ways at the side of the intersection.

"Ross what-" before Krista could finish her sentence as a semi truck went zooming past them, running the red light.

Everyone in the car froze as Alexis' soul left Ross's body and fused back into her own. Ross gained control of his body once more as if nothing happened. He was awake but couldn't control his being.

Alexis became fidgety and whipped back in the seat, Tim had slammed the breaks.

They were following Krista's car.

Tim put his car in park and jumped out of the vehicle and started banging on the window trying to get their attention.

Trapped in her car seat Alexis watched them. They all jumped out of the car and started hugging each other. Max ran over to Tim's car and undid Alexis' seat belt and hugged her tight.

Alexis is special. She had the ability to change bodies but only for a short amount of time. She is only to do that when the person she's known for the longest is in life threatening danger. Once that person dies, she will die too. One thing that she cannot do is go into that persons body and control him or her. She can only control the people around that's person.

If that's person dies from natural causes the person or Alexis gets to choose if she either, dies with them or bounds her soul to another person.

Everyone, but the 'clueless' Alexis had tears in their eyes and learned to cherish life just a little bit more.

I'm pissed right now. Don't worry its not at anyone on Wattpad. Just pissed at my gym teacher.

I was doing fine with 95lbs. for the two and a half minutes and she comes over and starts yelling at me that the machine I was using cost $5,000 dollars. I WASN'T EVEN DOING ANYTHING WRONG. She freaking changed it to 35LBS! Why does everyone think I'm weak?
