Louis sits on Harry's lap on the way to the store because he was too small to sit alone.

When they arrive, it's almost 1 o'clock. "Let's split up. We first go to a clothes store together. We get his size in everything and what he kinda likes and then Zayn and Harry you can gonna buy him more clothes while I will take Louis to pick things for his room and the play room and toys and such." Liam suggests.

Harry carries Louis to the first store they see. They walk to the baby aisle and grab a few pieces of clothing. Liam then takes Louis to a changing room and dresses him in some clothes to measure his size and then they walk back.

Liam tells Zayn and Harry Louis' size and then him and Louis take off. He has Louis on his back. "So for your room we are are going to Ikea first to find you some furniture and then to other stores for decorations." Liam tells them.

In the Ikea Liam grabs a shopping cart and puts Louis in it. "Let's go find things for your room and the playroom!" He pushes the cart while fast walking causing Louis to drop his head back and laugh happily.

Liam smiles at the adorable boy. He just loves him so much already and he's only just met him!

They end up finding everything Louis wanted. They leave the Ikea with a satisfied feeling. The furniture will be delivered tomorrow. I know that sounds soon but they payed extra for the soon delivery.

They want Louis to feel home as soon as possible and they want him to have a place of his own.

"Let's go find some decorations now." Liam says as he puts down the fussy toddler and grabs his hand instead. They went to the next store and Liam lets Louis pick out anything he wants.

When they already have a good amount of stuff, they are still looking for bed covers. Until something spots Louis' eye. He stares at it in awe. Liam soon notices Louis stopping. "You want that one babycake?" Louis turns to him. "I can?" Liam nods. "Of course!"

Liam grabs the covers Louis wanted which is a superheroes one. He has discovered Louis is obsessed with superheroes.

"Let's go to the checkout and then we can get some lunch. That sound good?" Liam asks. Louis nods.

Liam sends a message to Harry and Zayn to meet them at a café in 5 minutes. Then he turns to Louis. Louis is leaning against his legs and babbling about something while he waits for Liam to pay for everything.

They leave the store and go to the café they are meeting the rest. They see them already sitting at a booth. Liam waves and walks over to them with Louis by his side.

"Hawwy! Zee!" Louis yells as he runs towards them. The two boys smile and Harry lifts him on his lap. "Hey buddy, did you find nice things for your room?" Louis nods enthusiastically. "Gots lots of stwuff."

They order their food and not much later they get it served. They eat while making small talks.

"We already put the bags in the car. When we finish you can do that too." Zayn says. Liam nods. "That's a good idea. When we finish dinner, I'll take him to go buy the necessities. Like a stroller, car seat, nappies, sippy cups, plastic plates, a booster seat, etcetera. While you can go buy him toys and dummies and stuff."

"No way. We want to take Louis! You already got to spend time with him. Now it's our turn. Ain't that right baby." Harry argues and coos at Louis. The boy just giggles and nods.

"You little giggly monster. Finish your food so we can go buy you some fun toys." Harry smiles at the boy on his lap.

"I no hungwy mowe." Louis pouts. "Come on baby, you need to eat a little more than that. Here, I'll help you." Harry starts feeding him which actually works as Louis obediently eats what he feeds him.

"Good boy." Harry praises when Louis finishes his whole pancake. Louis smiles brightly at him. Liam reaches over and cleans Louis' messy mouth and sticky fingers.

"I'll pay for the food. You guys can go ahead. We'll meet at the car in an hour, okay?" Zayn nods and then they're off to the toy store.

"Alright, just look around and grab whatever you want okay?" Harry says as he grabs Louis hand so they don't lose him. "Yes yes Hawwie." Louis looks around with excited eyes.

At first he is a bit shy at grabbing things but as time goes on he grows more comfortable when he notices Zayn and Harry make no move to stop him.

When they leave the store they go to two other toy stores. They end up getting a lot. They have puzzles, games, cars, trains, colouring books, action figures and even kids books. Anything a toddler could ever dream of!

"Now, the only thing we still need is a dummy. Which ones do you like honey? You can choose a few." Louis looks at the variety of choices he has in front of him. Eventually he goes for a few ones with figures on it. He grabs three that come in packs of two and one single one.

(If you don't know who the last one is, it's a very popular figure in my country. I don't know if it's known in other countries as well, but look it up if you want to know more about it. She's called 'nijntje')

The boys love the dummies Louis chose and buy them all. Some may say Louis is being spoiled. And he is. The boys just want him to be happy after everything, and no they don't want to do that by buying him all sorts of things but they want him to feel like how it feels when you actually have things that belong to you.

Louis is over the moon with all the things he got today. He is so so thankful. But all the events have also tired him out.

When they are at the checkout he makes grabby hands for Zayn to pick him up which he does. Louis lays his head on Zayn's shoulder and puts his thumb in his mouth.

"You tired baby?" Zayn asks. Louis nods. Zayn starts humming a song and it lulls Louis right to sleep.

Zayn sets Louis on one hip and helps Harry carry bags with his free hand. "I already love him so much." Harry says as he looks at the peacefully sleeping boy in Zayn's arms. "Yeah me too. I hope he'll be ours soon." Zayn says.

When they arrive to the car Liam is already there. "He's asleep?" He asks. "Yeah. The poor kid was exhausted. It's been a long day for him." Harry says.

Liam grabs Louis from Zayn and puts him in the car seat he had just bought. Zayn and Harry load their bags in the trunk and then they can finally go home.

"We need to set up a routine for him. It would help him get settled. We need to give him a bottle for his naptime and his bedtime. Read him a story, wake him up at half past nine. He goes to bed at seven, bath time is before sleep.  All that kind of stuff you know." Liam says.

"Yeah I think that's a great idea too." Harry says. Zayn hums.

When they arrive they quietly bring the bags inside and then Harry unbuckles Louis. He carries him inside and to the guest room, which is soon going to be his room.

He lays him down on the bed and goes through the bags until he finds some pyjamas. He changes Louis nappy and then puts him in the Spiderman themed pyjamas.

He gently removes the boy's thumb from his mouth and replaces it with a dummy. When he hands Louis his bunny he hugs it tight in such an adorable way. He puts a night light on and also turns the baby monitor on. Then he quietly leaves the room.

Harry goes downstairs to his boys. "We need to set up rules and a routine. We also need to make our house kid-friendly." Zayn says.

"I agree. Let's sit down at a table and write everything down." Liam says.

They move to the table and grab a piece of paper and a pen. "First off rules. No kicking or hitting or hitting. I feel like that should be the biggest rule." Zayn says.

"Yes and also no lying to us. And to respect others." Harry says. "Yes so those are the basics. Other rules I thought of are, bedtime is 7 on weekdays and 8 at the weekends. Also no walking down the stairs alone. I don't want him to hurt himself."

They work on the rules for quiet a while until they are satisfied with what they got.

1. No hitting, kicking or biting
2. No lying and respect others
3. Bedtime is 7PM at weekdays and 8PM at the weekends
4. No walking down or up the stairs alone
5. Clean up your toys when you're done playing with them
6. No naughty words

Those are the rules they've come up with so far. "If we feel like we need to change them later we can." Harry says.

Before they can discuss anything else they here a cry coming from the baby monitor. "I'll go. You guys can start writing a new routine down." Liam says.

When they nod, Liam goes upstairs to go see his little baby. When he walks in the room he finds Louis sitting on the floor, crying his eyes out.

"Aaw baby, what's wrong?" Liam coos as he picks the small child up and rocks them slightly back and forth. He soon realises he fell off the bed.

''Aww baby, are you okay?'' Louis immediately calms down at the protectiveness of Liam's arms and his soothing voice.

"You ready to go downstairs and see what the others are doing?" Liam asks the still sleepy boy. Louis nods, rubbing his eyes, having just woken up from his 1 and a half hour nap.

Liam changes his nappy and then dresses him in some clothes. He then carries the now happily babbling boy downstairs.

''There's my favourite little boy! How was your nap?" Harry coos as he takes Louis into his own arms.

Louis smiles and tells him about his dream he had. They only understand half of Louis' babbling, but still nod and pretend like they are understanding every single word.

"Sounds like you had a nice nap buddy. Would you like to play with some toys now?" Zayn asks. Louis nods excitedly.

Zayn picks the boy up and carries him upstairs to his room where they put all the shopping bags.

Zayn sets Louis down and let's him wonder on his own for a bit while he goes through the bags until he finds some toys.

"Would you like to play with cars or would you like to colour?" He asks. Louis thinks for a bit and then yells "cars!"

Zayn smiles and grabs the sets of cars they bought. He then picks Louis up again and brings him downstairs.

He brings him to the living room and sets him down on the ground.

Zayn unwraps the cars and hands them to Louis. Louis screams excited and starts playing with the first toys he has ever gotten.

He makes the cars ride on the table, couch, the floor and even on himself. He giggles as he makes little vroom noises.

After a while he becomes so intrigued in his game he lays down on his stomach and plays further like that.

The boys smile from the kitchen. They have a good view on Louis while they share a beer.

"We should start setting things up. The furniture comes in first thing tomorrow and then we can set up everything, but for now we can set up his booster and stuff." Liam says.

"Yes let's do that." Zayn says. "You guys go grab the stuff. I'll stay here to keep an eye on Louis." Harry smirks.

The boys laugh at Harry's laziness but get up to go upstairs anyway. Louis is too into his playing he doesn't even notice them walking by.
