Info: It is December 31st, 1979, 10:00pm in a cold winter night where in two hours it would be January 1st, 1980. The succubus family is in New York city with their teenage darling Marcus. They are eating at a restaurant and their plan is to take him to Central Park where they would have the best spot to see the new year firework show when the clock hits midnight. This would be a night the family would treasure in their chest of memories, and a new decade means...more darlings to care for. But for now, lets get this special chapter started shall we folks?

This is Marcus, age 14.

Valentina, Addison, Nicolette and Sophia are having a lovely New year's eve with Marcus, they are eating at the Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse wearing fine dinner clothing and enjoying each others company and talking about the future and all sorts fo chit chat like that. It was almost time for dessert and soon they will be on their way to Central Park afterwards.

Valentina- So Markus sweetie how's the steak?

Marcus- Very good, and man this place is fancy. How can you afford all this?

Valentina- Well....I wont bore you with the details but lets just say we have to work very hard for this and I'm showing you that with hard work will come with great rewards in life. Do remember that in the future, wont you sweetie?

Marcus- Yeah I will. 

Valentina- Good.~

Addison- What time is the firework show again Sophia?

Sophia-  Hmmm...around midnight.

Nicolette looked at her watch.

Nicolette- Its still early 10 o'clock.

Valentina- Then we have two hours left to enjoy ourselves here and make our way to Central Park. And speaking of which, here is the waitress with the special treat.~

Then a waitress walked to the table and present them with a delicious dessert.

Waitress- And here is our specialty dessert for tonight.

Marcus- Wow, tasty.

Valentina- Indeed.~

Addison- Such a treat for this special day.

Nicolette- You can't get fancier than this.

Sophia- I agree with you with that on Nico.

Waitress- I'll have the check ready for you in a moment.

Marcus- Thank you miss and happy new year.

Waitress- Thank you sir and the same goes to you and to all of you ladies as well.

They nodded and went straight for the dessert and everyone enjoyed each flavor that there was. From the raspberry to the blueberry, nothing would be left on the plate. When they got done, they called for the check and payed the bill then headed on their merry way.

Valentina- Now since we still have two hours left, anyone want to walk around the city near the park so by the time its 30 minutes until the show, we can find a good spot.

Addison- That would be great mother.

Nicotine- Yeah, I wouldn't mind explore the city before we have to go back home.

Sophia- I'm down for it mom.

Marcus- Yeah sounds good mom.

Then it was settled. They walked around the area mostly window shopping at various shops. Although they did buy a big blanket to lay on the floor in order to be comfortable watching the show. All was going as planned for the succubus, a new decade with their darling and a time to remember the now long gone friends they made decades before. All the memories they made will come back to them with a bottle of wine later on.

(Timeskip, 1 hour later)

It was around 11:45pm and the fireworks show is about to start in a little while. They found a spot just around the lake where the water will reflect the brightness of the fireworks and it would be beautiful.

Valentina- Well children, seems we found the perfect spot. 

Sophia- Cant wait for it mom. New decade means new tech to see.

Valentina- *Chuckle* i'm sure you do Sophia.

Marcus- Mom, when will the fireworks start?

Valentina- I'll start soon sweetie, be patient for a little longer, I have a feeling the show would be much more bigger than last year.

Addison- I think so too and besides I heard there going to play some music this year.

Nicolette- Do you know what it is?

Addison- I have no clue myself, all I heard that music will be present in this years show.

Marcus- Speaking of music, do you guys have any New Years resolutions?

Valentina- Well for me, my resolution is to read more. I admit I haven't been reading that often since...oh for so long.

Valentina's mind- Since the 1940s I believe.

Addison- Mine is to go back to school and finish my business degree.

Nicolette- Mine is to find rare old technologies and put them in my collection.

Sophia- Mine is too beat my high scores on Asteroids, Space invaders, and Pong.

Marcus was thinking hard on what resolution would be and then he had one.

Marcus- Mine is to.....do better at school.

Valentina- Thats a good one Marcus. Remember the parent teacher conference we had before break. I wasn't happy with you Marcus, but I assume now you learned your lesson for when I grounded you and took away your gaming console the Atari something.

Sophia- Its the Atari 2600 mom.

Valentina- That too but anyway did you learn sweetie?

Marcus- Yes I did mom, I promise to do better when we get back.

*Kiss forehead*

Valentina- Good boy Marcus.~ Now if you need any tutorials at any subject, just ask one of your teachers for help.

Nicolette- Or if they cant help you, I can help you as well. Don't be shy to ask sweetie.~

Marcus- I will moms.

Then an announcers voice came on speaker.

Announcer- All right Ladies and Gentlemen!! In 3 minutes, the clock will hit midnight and the show will begin!! Hope you folks made your resolutions because we are heading to a new decade in the 20th century!!

Marcus- Oh my god, its about to start! YAY!

2 1/2 minutes later......

Its almost there, just 30 seconds left till 1980. The family is hyped up skyrocket level, and all of the other folks are dancing, jumping in joy and cheering their lungs out. The succubus women love seeing humans celebrate and come together instead of doing bloody, tragic warfare and trust them, they have seen some blood and have spilled blood from their hands too but of course all in the name of their child of the past. But now, time for the countdown.

Everyone- 10..9..8..7..6..5..4..3..2..1.... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

Cheering, shouting, and hugs all happened at once. But then suddenly.

The Frank Sinatra's Version of Nat king Cole's song of Let's face the music and dance played on the loudest speaker available. 

Marcus- COOL MUSIC MOMS!

He got up and started to dance in the grass like there was no tomorrow. That just warmed the succubus hearts seeing their child enjoying himself. They're friends with Mr.Sinatra and maybe they will give him a call when they get home.

Valentina- Happy new year, Frank.~

And so the family just watched the show and when Marcus was tired from dancing, he sat back down in the blanket catching his breath. Valentina then kissed his forehead and soon the other followed while giving him a big hug.

Valentina/Addison/Nicolette/Sophia- Happy new year, Marcus~

Marcus- Happy new year too, moms and big sister.

They all smiled and looked up in the sky to continue watching the bright fireworks.

(Timeskip, 1 hour later)

The show finished and they were getting ready to leave the park and head on their way to the hotel to sleep and in the early morning they are driving to the airport to go back home. But as soon they got everything, Marcus fell asleep.

Valentina- So cute.~

Addison- I got him mother.

She picked him up and begin to walk back to the hotel.

20 minutes later....

They arrived back to the hotel, went to the too floors and arrived to their room.

They went to one of other rooms to tucked Marcus in bed and gave him a kiss goodnight.

Valentina- *Whisper* Goodnight my darling.~

Addison- *Goodnight Sweetheart*~

Nicolette- *Night Night, love.*~

Sophia- *Night, little brother*~

They closed the door and went to one of the tables and took out four wine glasses and a bottle of fine wine.

Addison poured each woman a glass and herself one too. 

Valentina- Well girls, today is 1980 and this century has been a crazy one so far. But besides that, we want to remember our many friends who are unfortunately not alive now. I want to give a toast and honor to John F Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr, Bing Crosby and Mr. Darious.

Addison- I want to toast to Marilyn Monroe, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Billie Holiday.

Nicolette- A toast to Alexander Graham Bell, Eleanor Roosevelt, Booker T. Washington and Lyndon B Johnson.

Sophia- For me, an honor to Walt Disney, Elvis Presley, Charlie Chaplin, Judy Garland and many other actors who made life for us and our darlings more fun and alive.

Valentina- That's right, these people taught us many lessons we hold value to this day, entertain us that created memories with our darlings of the past, and the most important thing was how they influenced change in this world to improve the lives of our future children when we have them. With all being said, lets raise our glasses for a better future and to our friends who still alive a happy new year and good health. Cheers!

Addison/Nicolette/Sophia- Cheers!

They drank and talked about memories of all the times visiting and spending time with those famous figures. They gave one moment of silence to the children who they miss dearly and are thankful for Marcus. They made a note to make visit the memories room to pay respects and add Marcus shrine later. After a few glasses later, they go to their beds and went to sleep.

(Timeskip to the morning.)

Valentina woke up Marcus and the others to get ready to go to the airport to head back home. They packed everything and checked out and head on their way to their rental car.

Marcus- Mooom, I'm hungry, we didn't get to eat in the breakfast bar.

Valentina- I know sweetie, but we had to go quick so we don't miss our flight back. Don't worry though, the airport has a Taco Bell and we'll stop there to get you something to eat of whatever you want, hows that sound sweetie?

Marcus- Alright. *Yawn*

Addison- Still tired sweetheart?~

Marcus- Hmm mmm.

Nicolette- How about you sleep some more and we'll wake you up when we get there ok?

Marcus- Ok...*yawn* 🥱.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.....

Then he fell to sleep pretty fast peacefully. Addison turned on the radio on a low volume to hear any news today and this news was about to get interesting.

*In todays new's: Four bodies who are three males and one female were found in a sewer near Broadway street with their faces cut up so badly they couldn't be identified. Also, multiple stab wounds, whip markings and burned spots all over their bodies. Police are now looking for the murderers who are responsible for this. Not even a day in the new decade, crime does not rest for anyone. We will keep you updated in this investigation. Now, in other news....

Then Valentina turned off the radio and had a huge devilish smile on her face and so did the others.

Valentina's mind- That's what happens to any human who threaten our Marcus.~

Addison's mind- The nerve of them trying to kill him just for satisfying their sick, dark twisted desire to cause pain to innocent people like our little Marcus.~

Nicolette's mind- As soon as we caught them before they do any harm to him, they ran away which I followed them and knocked them out to get them ready to be punished to death.~

Sophia's mind- They were asking for it and they thought they could get away with such a crime like that. We would never let scum like that get away with it especially if they tried to hurt my little brother.~

All- But it was all for you....~

They turned around to see Marcus sleeping with their sweet but twisted smiles.

Valentina/Addison/Nicolette/Sophia- Marcus, our little darling.~

HAPPY New Year's Eve FOLKS!!! 2020 has been one hell of year to all of us but despite that, we have survived and we are all in good health at least I hope you are in good health. Hopefully 2021 will be more better but only time will tell in a situation like this.
