The most beautiful part is, 

I wasn't even looking when I found you.

Avni squeal in joy when she spotted her girl gang and run to them immediately leaving Neil's side. He shook his head at her but followed her to where others were present.

The excitement of Christmas can be seen on everyone's face and Avni's was not less, reason she refuse to stop at the restaurant to have dinner and grab a quick drive thru on their way again. And now she is being clicked with all the other girls with festive lightning behind them by their very own professional photographer Jayden.

It must be other reason for him being their photographer easily as Zoey was present their but minor information.

Zach :"So my buddy how's the birthday going.?" He circled his arm Neil's shoulder and raised his eyes.

Neil :"So far so good. But as always Christmas took away all the attention." He let out a sadly sigh feeling not at all good for Christmas to take away his limelight. He was getting so much attention since morning and now.. phew..

Brian : "We feel you bro. We became side kick as soon as they spotted each other." He said looking at his wife laughing with others ignoring him like a stranger.

Rohan : "I don't know about you all but I'm sweeping away my wife as soon as it turn midnight."

DD : "Same. Can't take the risk of letting them stroll around all night together."

Kayden :"Only if my wife hadn't warned me about not doing anything crazy tonight, I would have taken her away from here way earlier." He dropped his shoulder sadly putting his hands in his jean's pockets.

Abeer:"And only if my wife wasn't pregnant, I would have drag her away." He added his comment.

Sam : "And only if my Rose could see how lonely I am without her while she is smiling happily there." The pout on his face was impossible for someone to not melt.

Zach : "And only if my wife wasn't looking so happy without me there, I would've take her away to her happy place, our happy place." He wipe away his non-existent tears and sniff like a child for more effect.

Neil : "Okay, stop with your if and only and that grossing faces. Why are you all whining like a child.?" He asked frowning at everyone. They all have gone mad.

On a  cue, all heads turn towards Neil hearing his statement. Here they are in a very miserable condition and he.. he's being totally rude towards their feelings and emotions.

Sam : "You are saying this cause you spent all day with Avi bear."

Brian: " You didn't had to spend hours seeing your girl gossiping about food and clothes and all other nonsense ignoring you like terms and Conditions."

Zach : "Yes. And how can you be so cruel towards us. What about our emotions and feelings.?"

Abeer : "Be happy that I bring Avni here or you would have been sulking somewhere in your office with your laptop and files."

Kayden : "True. Workaholic jerk."

Neil ignored all their comments and grin brightly. Who's gonna hide their true feeling? He was damn lucky to spend the time with his Junglee Billi after a long time.

Sam : "You shouldn't have brought Avi bear here. Or should've kept her away from him than only he would've know our situation." He turned towards Abeer getting annoyed by the stupid grin on Neil's face.

Neil : "To late for that buddy. Too late." He smirked putting his hands in his jacket mocking at everyone. Oh he is so gonna brag about it.

Abeer : "I'm taking my sister with me back home. Anyway we have stayed here for too long." He said seriously, making Neil's eyes widened.

Zach : "Hey, I want Avi bear to come with us for the trip." Abeer rolled his eyes at him but gave a subtle look at him to play along. Others too get the memo and smile.

Brain : "Zach, you can't force him."

Kayden : "Yes if he wants to take his sister safely back then we can't do anything. It's not right."

Sam : "I agree too. We'll get plenty of time to spent with Avi bear later on but for now we have to let her go."

Rohan : "And even me and Ashi won't be present here with her so I guess it's the right thing."

Neil : "The hell., shut it everyone. Abeer, you can't do this. You only booked yours and Meher tickets. Remember.?" He asked hopefully, wishing it to be a joke. When did the table turn so quickly?

Abeer : "And it won't take long for me to book another one Remember.?" He smirked.

Neil cursed him under his breath looking away. He shouldn't have brought Avni here.

Or should have shut his mouth.

Anyways.   

Neil : "I am not letting her go." He said firmly.

Abeer : "As if I'll listen to you. I am her brother and I can decide for her."

Neil : "And I'm her fiancé."

Abeer: " Correct. Fiancé not husband. Got it buddy."

Neil : "You.., bloody jerk. I will talk to Neela maa."

Abeer : "Well, If you want me to call Mom or Bebe, then go ahead. I guess your phone is in your left pocket." He smiled innocently pointing towards his phone.

Neil cursed him now wanting to get just out of there.

Aiden : "It's just ten minutes to Christmas. "

Aiden, who was a silent spectator of the whole scenario spoke finally stopping the drama being played by everyone with Neil.

Zach : "Oh you can speak. I thought you're mute." He sarcastically said cause he interrupt their entertainment.

Aiden : "My bad, I was just contemplating whether to tell Ari about your bachelor party or not. Now reached the conclusion. Thanks to you." He casually spoke shrugging his shoulder.

A loud dramatic gasp was heard and all others rolled their eyes at the child in man's body.

Zachary.

Zach : "This... you piece for freaking shit. This is the reason why I don't like to invite him anywhere. Freaking blackmailer." Zach continued his profanities to Aiden who turn deaf towards him.

That's how Aiden is. The silent, rude and observer of the squad. He is blunt but extremely introvert, the only quality that is common between him and Riley, his fiancée. Otherwise they both are polar apart. Riley is a sweetheart whereas Aiden is a devil incarnation.

How they managed to survive in their relationships for 4 long years is a mystery known to them only.

Zach : "I'll make sure Riley doesn't come to the alter where you would be waiting for her."

Aiden : "That won't happen ever but maybe your divorce can, Mr. Rodriguèz. You've all my sympathy." He said nonchalantly while Zach was on the verge of having attack.

It's not even being a year to their marriage and he was talking about divorce. His and Ari's divorce. Bullshit. As if he'll let that happen.

Rohan : "Okay, cut it guys only few minutes are remaining. I'm taking my wife away anyhow." Rohan said and make his way towards the girls.

Aiden was quick enough to follow his path and others followed them. As much as they all say about Sam being the more whipped one in the group, it was not hidden that Aiden can not survive at all without seeing Riley. He need to have her in sight of his eyes wherever the hell they went. He need to have her around for his sanity.

Neil look towards his Junglee Billi, teasing Abeer while holding Meher close to her, turning deaf to whatever threats her brother is giving. He can see it from afar too. The mischievousness in her eyes.

He sneakily made his way behind her and grab her hand. She was not leaving Meher's hand when Abeer try to pull her away but gave a quick glance to Nel when he came. 

But before she could ask him to help her which she perceive as "protecting" Meher from her own husband, He-Neil- drag her into the crowd ignoring Abeer's warning towards him. He has done already enough by sprouting nonsense earlier.

When Neil was sure that they are away from all of them, he stopped and look at her glaring at him. Nothing new. He didn't expected it, he knew it.

Neil : "See, it's my birthday you can't say anything today." He spoke before she could say something. They're somewhere in the middle of the crowd away from everyone they know.

Her eyes narrowed at him before she look away from him with a sad pout on her face, setting her hair properly not saying anything. He could have help her a little there. She was just teasing Abeer, But this darn idiot fellow ruined her fun.

Neil try to see if she's angry or upset or pretending to be one. Damn it, even is she's pretending he can't see her silent. Even when he's the one who told her to not say anything.

Bipolar.? No way.

Maybe.

Neil : "Don't be like this now." He tugged her closer, smoothing her hair strained and tucking it behind. She simply just stare at him not saying anything for few moments. And a sudden a big smile form on her face as she muttered okay loud enough for him to her.

He knew her dramas yet he can't help when he saw her sad face. 

She is everything he was and was not looking for at the same time. He knew on which road his heart is walking. He has an idea where all the feelings will lead to. He know what his heart desire and his brain supports to. He is acknowledging everything yet not. He was going with the flow. He is not stopping his heart or mind to play tricks nor he is encouraging it. With her, here, in his arms, he is accepting everything that is happening to him. The giddy feels, the world stopping moments, the happiness, the contentment, the comfort and all the other thing. He is accepting it all. He is accepting her advances, her silliness, her dramas, her happiness and her.

Yes, he had a liking towards her since the start. He felt the pull towards her somehow always. And that's what push him to agree towards the bond form by their family. But he had not expected to feel, what he is feeling right now, or ever since they got hitched together.

The same thing for which he used to tease his friends, the same thing which made his friends got whipped, the same thing that he used to always denied to or avoid. The same thing that this little hurricane came with and made his life eventful just by her presence and just being herself.

Truth to be told, he had thought about someone to be with in future. Someone who is calm, mature, soft-spoken and understanding. He was not looking for it but that was what he had thought about someone who would be much more similar to him. But with Babaji's blessing and wish, a troublemaker took away his breath being exactly opposite of what he had thought about. And yet, he is falling down. He is falling, surely, head first. And there is no coming back. He knows, he knows this is it. It has to be her with him for the rest of his life. And it will be. Till the very end.

He kissed her hair, intertwining their hands tightly on her stomach, as he hugged her from behind. Few minutes are left for the midnight and the excitement can be feel around the air.

There's a huge crowd around. All of them came here to see the biggest celebration of the night in the city. And being in the middle with strangers around just them with each other is an extraordinarily satisfying. Not a sane feeling but it's there.

Avni : "Two minutes left." She spoke loudly turning her head slightly for him to hear her amongst the loud cheers of excitement.

He chuckled seeing her excitement. This is the most excited he had seen her till today. Not even her own birthday excites her like this.

Loud cheers of counting brought him back to the real world and he look around. Only few seconds were remaining. His little hurricane was indulge in shouting her mind along with others.

"TEN"

"NINE"

"EIGHT"

"SEVEN"

"SIX"

"FIV--"

"Happy birthday." Avni shouted in his ears turning around in his arms, bending him a little down to come to her height, wrapping her arms around his neck.

Before he could realised anything a kiss was placed on his cheek and the whole crowd erupt into loud cheers.

"MERRY CHRISTMAS."

She was grinning at him still in his arms gazing at him instead of the ongoing celebration she was dying to see.

Avni : "Merry Christmas idiot." She wished with glee in her eyes and turned around to see the celebration unaware of his situation and feeling.

His eyes never left her and keep adoring her till he couldn't take it more. He can still feel the softness on his cheeks. Not waiting for a second he swiftly turn her around and wrapped his hands around her waist. Lifting her up a little he embraced her in his arms hearing her delightful shriek.

She had no idea what she is doing to him. And as much as he wants to bare his heart out to her, he is happy with her innocent advances that flutter his heart.

Avni laugh loudly without any care when he turn around in spin while holding her up. Her hold tight around his neck as she felt him squeezing her in the hug.

Neil : "Merry Christmas Junglee Billi." He kissed her nose after putting her down on her legs but not letting her go.

Avni : "Same pinch idiot." She pull his nose for calling her with that name. And he just laugh throwing his head back.

She is the cutest buffoon he and ever came across. Ohh damn if she ever came to know about him calling her buffoon.

Spending more than half an hour roaming around here and there. They finally came to a spot to enjoy the relaxing weather with blowing winds.

Avni had not stop squealing around looking-mingling in- the crowd. He, standing from afar look at the her chirping happily talking to some stranger and playing with the children. If this is what he gets to see- happy she- then he is ready as hell to spend all his christmas standing at a place,, far, and let her have her moment.

He chuckled seeing her waiting like an impatient child, getting her candy floss, shivering in cold. The temperature is getting down and down as the night goes on.

As soon as she get her floss, she made a run towards him in the midst of the crowd and found him standing on the other side. Her legs, having a mind of their own, took her straight to him, in his arms.

Avni : "It's too cold". She whispered on his chest hiding her face to avoid the cold wind. Her nose has gone completely red and her fingers have became ice sickle completely. He laugh taking her in his warm embrace

Neil : "You're the one who asked for snow. Actually prayed for. Nahi?" He looked down at her.

Avni : "Oh, Hell yes. I am still praying for it." she squealed and then glancing up she prayed again.

Avni : "Please Babaji make it happen. Please. I really want to see snow. Please Please Please."

Why it's that, that each time he thought she can't be anymore cute she proved him wrong. Each and every time. It would be a lie if he say she isn't looking cute this time making that puppy faces looking up at the sky praying for snowfall. Oh What a beauty he got!

Neil : "You want to freeze here right.?" He rubbed her hands blowing warm air on her cold ones whereas she was busy eating candy floss lost in her own thoughts.

As much as he was feeling happy to see her eating like a child that she always denying to, he cannot take her wavering attention from him.

Neil : "Avni." He calls her softly.

Her brows went up in a question as she turn towards him, taking the last bite of her candy floss.

Neil : "Let's break up."

The floss got stuck in her throat as soon as he sprout out the words. A series of cough followed and she gave him wired look along.

What the hell is he saying?

Neil : "Calm down Junglee Billi." He soothes her back trying to curb her coughs.

A hard glare is what he got in return. She removed his hand and stood straight in from of him. Without uttering anything, she let her eyes -glares- do the talking.

Neil rolled his eyes at her dramas. He tugged her closer to him and hold her tight when she tried to get away.

Neil : "Will you listen to me, quietly?"

Avni : "No."

Neil : "Okay." He squeezed her more into his arms trying not to get lost in her blazing hazel orbs.

Neil : "I don't want to lie to my fiancée again and again. Not really want to keep her in dark about our relation. So I guess it's better if we breakup. It will be better for both of us."

The anger in her slowly turn into sheer confusion as she hears him.

Neil : " We should really part our ways as girlfriend - boyfriend."

The frown on her face slowly settles down as his words registered in her mind and a giggle left her mouth when she understood what he was trying it say.

And he calls her Drama.

Avni : "You know you just got yourself saved from a really good beating, haina?"

Neil : "Yes." He admitted. He knows she would have beat the pulp out of him if he had stretched it.

Neil : "But I honestly feel we should do it. You know parting ways." He said continuing with the act.

Avni : "Is it so? You think it's best for us?" She act along now as she gets the complete picture.

And he hummed in response caressing her cheek with the back of his fingers.

Neil : "I guess so. Or.."

Avni : "Or.?"

Neil : "Or we could just upgrade our relation if you permit."

Again a confused frown appear on her face which soon turned into surprise when a shiny thing came in front of her.

A sleek diamond ring in his finger is what she couldn't believe to be real.

Weren't they just bluffing around, joking about it.?  Or Did he do it on purpose.?

Neil : "Maybe." He replied to her thoughts knowing exactly what might be going on her pretty mind.

She didn't respond, but keep looking at him, waiting for him to say something or anything.

He sigh, removing his hand from her waist he holds her both hands in his. Softly rubbing his thumb on her delicate hands he bring up her left hand to his mouth and kissed her ring finger -on her engagement ring- and then slide the new diamond ring on her middle finger of left hand. 

It was sleek, thin band exact opposite of her engagement ring yet it looks beautiful. 

Avni : "Neil, what's the need of this?" her eyes still admiring the delicate piece of jewellery. 

Neil : "Here, with this ring we finally part ways as boyfriend and girlfriend. I hereby with all my sanity and insanity accept you Junglee Billi to be my Fiancée for as long as we do not get promoted as husband and wife. "

Butterflies? A whole zoo was running around inside in stomach and oh her glossy eyes. When did this idiot became so so softy and romantic.?

Her mind has probably lost all its remaining active cell and her heart, the whole city can hear her loud thumping of beats. How can this beautifully gorgeous man chose her to be with, to spend time together, to get married. 

This stupid idiot man of hers will be her death someday. Her palpitation can never be in control in his presence. How can she response him now when he was looking at her with those enchanting eyes she had ever come across.

A slight sting on her hand broke her out free from her wirled of thoughts. He had bite her littlest finger softly to broke her trance and again bite it a little harshly this time just for fun.

Avni swat his hand away and smack his chest for ruining the moment. Why he had to be so pleasingly adorable and annoying at the same time.?

He laughed loudly throwing his head back. Pulling her closer to himself he tucked her securely in his arms. She fisted his t-shirt on the back under his warm jacket, making herself believe, of this not being a dream. His hand around her neck providing the needed warmth and assurance and thumping of his beats was making her aware of reality.

Neil : "Avni." He called softly. She looked up, waiting for him to continue. Her eyes had the power to captivate him anywhere anytime, making him forget his surrounding, whereas his sudden actions of romance took away her breathe every single time.

Neil : "Kuch nahi". He smile gently that makes her inside churn in a weird way yet couldn't  get enough of it. 

Tightening her grip on his back she stood on her toes to reach his height. With a big smile on her face, she pressed her lips on his cheek very close to his lips and moved back. 

Avni : "Thank you." It's all she could tell at this moment.

He cupped her face in his warm hands and rubbed their nose before kissing her forehead and nose. Oh, he loves to to place kiss on her nose. It's his favourite. Well, for now. Who knows he might change his favourites soon.
